I really enjoyed this graphic novel. The art on the cover drew me in and I was not disappointed, the art style and the colors are amazing, I sometimes spent a few minutes just looking at the details of the drawings.
It was a short and entertaining read, the story is fun and would be perfect to read for Halloween. However, the pop culture references sometimes threw me off as I thought the story was taking place in a different universe altogether.
The plot and the characters were interesting, the familiars and other animals brought cuteness to it all, and I can’t wait to see where Norah’s adventures are going to take her.

I absolutely love this one. Having read other reviewers saying that it is too YA, I am beginning to wonder if I have the heart of a YA in a 50 something body. I

It is a story about a girl with no magic striking a deal with the devil in order to search for her aunt -- the most powerful witch.

It talks about witches and devil but it is not scary at all. The artwork is absolutely stunning. I love it and I believe that KS3 students would love this too.

The illustrations were beautiful! I loved the storyline and characters and their banter. I also loved how quick and fun this was. I will say, this was a bit too YA for me but I enjoyed it nonetheless.

A delightful and bewitching story about a witch with no powers who goes on the search for her aunt and makes a deal with the devil along the wya. Norah is a witch, in fact she is the niece of one of the most powerful witches but she doesn’t really have any magic herself. When her aunt, aka the most powerful witch, suddenly disappears, Norah is determined to find out what happened to her.... except she accidentally interrupts a summoning ritual and now finds herself face to face with the devil... well half of him and he is now unable to return to Hell without Norah’s half. They strike a deal: she’ll help him if he helps her find her aunt. So begins the funny and magical adventure between a witch and a devil! This was such a fun read and I loved the artwork so much! The banter between Norah and Lucifer was funny and all the magical creatures in the story were fun too!

I read this book as an arc from Netgalley.

This book follows Norah as she is trying to find her aunt with the devil. Her aunt is the most powerful witch and she has disappeared. It is a very fast paced novel. I would like to note that there is a Harry Potter reference. Other than that, it was an interesting read. It is something to pick up after a heavy read.

This was a light hearted, quick read that was full of magic and adventure. I'm a huge fan of fantasy when it comes to the worlds that link to heaven and hell and really enjoyed seeing the way that Lucifer was portrayed in this as well as the other demons. The narrative was reminiscent of season five of Buffy the Vampire Slayer and the character of Dawn Summers. I enjoyed the art style that was used in this graphic novel and the narrative was well formed with fully developed characters, down to the ones who didn't speak but were full of personality.

I loved this graphic novel! The art style was amazing and one of my faves i’ve seen. I loved the witches, their powers and their society. It was so interesting and full of depth. The plot had plenty of turns and adventure with a spooky, magical atmosphere which worked really well with the art work.

Devil on her Shoulder was a short, very cute graphic novel. It focuses on Norah who is part of a witch society, with no magic of her own and her journey to save her aunt who has disappeared.
This book has really fun, well done graphics, and lots of interesting characters. I felt the story was a little confusing at times, but enjoyed all the side characters that showed up along Norah's adventure, especially when the devil came into play. The demons were done very well, and book also had some really good messages throughout. This felt very unique, and was a fun read.
I rated this 4 stars.
Thank you to NetGalley and Europe Comics for the eARC.

The Bruja is missing. And her niece, a witch called Norah, has to find her. Well... that's why she goes into her aunt's home. But instead of finding her aunt in the living room, she finds the Prince of Hell, Lucifer himself. And he's missing his bottom half. Just a normal thing for a witch, isn't it? Norah decides that she has to find her aunt. With the assistance of Luci. Who's currently being transported in her backpack. Together they travel through the world, looking for her aunt.
I really enjoyed this comic. It's really fast-paced. It's fun to read and the characters are truly lovable. Also who doesn't want to carry around the devil in their backpack? And have you seen the art? It's soo pretty.
