I have Been a fan of Madison since the Bachelor and I was very excited to see her book come out. And it did not disappoint. This was a great book and I actually went out and bought my own copy and have passed it around to friends

In The Love Everybody Wants, Madison Prewett Troutt explored the topic of love and where true love occurs. She was a contestant on The Bachelor in season 24. In the book, she will share her experience with her journey on singleness and finding love. She explained how God loves us unconditionally and we can all experience that. Scriptures instructs us to love God with all of our heart, soul, and mind. Then next we are told to love our neighbor as yourself. She looked at what true love is and we can use 1 Corinthians 13 as an example to recall what we should be seeking in love. She wasn’t afraid to discuss the loaded questions such as, “Am I hard to love, Am I enough, and Will I ever get picked. She helped readers to pay attention to the thoughts that they have about themselves. She encouraged readers to remember what God says about them and how critical it is to replace the lies with His truths. Our worth can be found in the cross and how much He loves us.

In the book, she looked at shame and how we can learn to break up with our shame. She told a personal story about how when she was 21 years old, she accidently left her boss a voicemail instead of her boyfriend at the time. She told him he was cute and that she missed him. She remembers her boss asking her about the call and she called and explained it to his wife. She remembers feeling ashamed and bad about the mix up. Many of us may be feeling ashamed about our past sins. She shared other stories about people being videotaped without her knowing. Shame harms our identity and affects our self-worth. It can lead us down a bad path into our self-defeating thoughts and self-hatred. Shame ends when we realize who Jesus is and the power, He has over it. In His word, we are told we are forgiven.

I would recommend this awesome book that touched on all aspects of singleness and true love. I loved how she chose to share about God’s incredible love and how we can experience a remarkable relationship with Christ. Each chapter has questions we can ask ourselves such as, “why did God allow that rejection to happen”. I also liked how she shared how she met the love of her life, Grant and what she learned along the way. This book is an excellent resource for single people and it will guide them through all the questions they may have about true love. This book is wonderful for single women and is written just for them.

This book was just “meh” for me. I felt like I was reading it because I had to finish it instead of reading it because I wanted to finish it. I can’t quite put my finger on what it was.

A really easy read that teaches your self and self worth are invaluable. The author is real and tells her stories and stories to make you believe in yourself. Never settle for less always go big or go home. Take the time to wait on the right person or the right moment. A definite read for any young girl.

I received a complimentary copy from the publisher and all opinions expressed are entirely my own.

I had no idea who Madison was until I read this book and became interested in the Bachelor. The blurb sold the book as a dating book but it's in actual fact a book about finding love that you deserve, A love from God that is unconditional . Madison strived to share the importance of finding a relationship that is whole and healthy, on how to rely on God to heal your heart and also how to not conform to social media norms for what makes a relationship a relationship. She made the point of us needing God and how important that relationship is.

This would have helped me tremendously as a young adult always wanting to know why everyone else was married. So many good chapters about loving yourself and not settling. God will bring you the right one when the time is right. This book will def make you see that. One must be patient and trust guy. Madison’s story is wonderful for other women struggling to understand why they haven’t “been chosen.” Highly recommended for those looking for love.

The Love Everybody Wants by Madison Prewett Trout
⭐️⭐️⭐️.5

In this book, Madi explores the common doubts and insecurities surrounding love and self-worth. Drawing from personal experiences and Scripture, she challenges societal messages, urging readers to embrace God's enduring love. Offering insights into healthy relationships and healing from heartbreak, the book emphasizes self-acceptance as the foundation for genuine love. It's not a guide to finding a partner but a reminder that the love we seek already resides within us, promising lasting transformation and fulfillment.

I think I would have eaten this up if I was in high school. It was a cute book about being confident in yourself and accepting God’s love before anyone else’s, but there weren’t any new groundbreaking revelations. It has the feel of an older sister giving her younger sister advice. This definitely wasn’t an impactful book for me now, but I would recommend it to girls in high school or college looking for hope from a girl a few years ahead of them.

Thank you @waterbrookmultnomah and @netgalley for an eARC in exchange for my honest review.

I think that this book is great for someone in the early 20’s who feels like they are behind in the love aspect of life. If I had read this at that age, I believe it would have give a different outlook to feeling like I was left behind. I loved how it was written like an older sister giving advice to her younger sister. This book focuses on how to love yourself, the love you already have through Christ, and how God is the only one who can truly proved the love that everybody wants.

I watched Madison on the Bachelor and loved how on fire she was for God which is not something that is normally on the show. It is great to have someone who has such a large following to share the truth of Jesus Christ with others. She poured her heart into this book and it for sure shows. This book is Christian based so if that is not your thing, this may not be for you. As a Christian, I felt that this book did a great job reinforcing the fact that we have abundant love from God and to rely on biblical strategies when things are not the way we think they should be.

This is my first time reading a book by this author however I do follow her on social media and of course saw her on the bachelor tv show!

Christian devotionals are one of my favorites and this book is a must read, first off she talks about living in singleness, living in cycles and how to move past all the things that block us from a God filled relationship while we are looking for love. (True Love)
There are many unique things about this book that as a reader I truly felt was beautiful and interactive, I love how Madison is so relatable it reminds me how in Ecclesiastes king Solomon talks about how we all are living the same lives we are all so similar in so many ways and I truly felt like I had been through and understood so much of what she spoke of based on the life that I had have myself. It brought so much emotions to me just thinking about how far I’ve come as a women and a daughter of Christ. And through my life how God has seen me and still saved me and changed me. And I see that in Madison and her writing .
Not only that but she writes so beautifully it’s truly a gift to have something so hard to talk about but still be able to make it enjoyable . This book comes out tomorrow 09/19/2023 and I’m going straight to the store in the morning to buy a physical copy . I cannot recommend this book enough and not just for my single lady’s but also married friends. This would also be such a great gift for a young ladies in your life or a lady just starting her faith walk who feels shame for who she was or mistakes she’s made !

This book feels like an older sister thoughtfully kept a journal to pass down to her younger siblings. The book's strength is that the stories are very personable and it's very conversationally written. Madi's heart and purpose are weaved through every page of this book. This would be a great book for a high school graduate or college freshman being exposed to or influence by new cultures.

If you are religious this is a great read about waiting for "the one" on God's time, but if you aren't religious this still have a handful of takeaways. Madi stresses the importance of strength in self and building a community foundation that is really lacking in a culture of surface level views and likes. I also really enjoyed her chapter on using time you perceive as waiting as a time to prepare yourself for the other people in your life.

I know this is centered around romantic love but wish there were more chapters about the role of familial and platonic relationships and how those can be more of the love that we need rather than want.

Thanks to Madi Prewett Troutt, WaterBrook & Multnomah and Netgalley for allowing me to read this gem of an ARC.

Thank you to Waterbrook & NetGalley for an ARC of this book, in exchange for my honest opinion.

I enjoyed reading Madi’s new book, and feel like she had a lot of great advice if you’re going through the thick of life while searching for your partner. I also feel like some of her advice is applicable to not just relationships, but also the friendships we encounter through our journey. And also, lots of advice on how to work on yourself while you’re waiting to meet your life partner. As a church going, God following woman myself I enjoyed her advice, examples, and bible verses quoted through the story. However, I do feel like if you aren’t a religious person this book may not be for you. So I would just steer clear of this read if you aren’t very religious, because every chapter is rooted in religious thoughts.

Well done to Madi on her second published book!

I believe I’m a bit older than the target demographic, but this is certainly a book I would share with someone in their late teens / early 20s!

I enjoyed every page of this book. So insightful and definitely what I needed in this season of life. Such great nuggets of wisdom throughout the pages. This book will definitely changes the perspectives of many.

You can tell Madi poured her heart and soul into this book. I am not her target demographic, but do know that if I had read this at 20 years of age, I would have found such encouragement in it while dating. I love that she acknowledges the challenges of purity while at the same time speaking up for what she knows is best. I will definitely recommend it to young single girls.

Written in conversational chapters in an upbeat tone and style that reminded me of Sadie Robertson Huff.

I'm probably a little older than the target demographic of this book. It felt aimed more at teens and early 20's, so that is the age group that I would recommend this book to. Though the books claims multiple times to not be a relationship book about dating and how to find a spouse, that's pretty much what it is. Not all that it is by means, but that definitely is a big focus of the book as it talks about healthy standards for human relationships from a Christian standard, as well as the importance of knowing that only God can ultimately meet our deepest needs.

I liked that Madison told stories from her life and shared things that she had learned from her relationships with family or romantically. I liked that she talked honestly about some of her struggles, though at time it felt more like a motivational speaker and drifted into more of that territory, though I liked that she brought it back to faith in Christ as our primary relationship.

Overall, this was a quick read and as a person who has read similar books in the past it wasn't anything new or groundbreaking personally, but I could see how this would definitely appeal to a younger audience and that next generation of young women who are familiar with Madison in the public eye.

I received a complimentary copy of this book. Opinions expressed in this review are completely my own.

This was one of those books you don’t even realize you need to read until you start it. I really needed to hear all of this.

As Madison says in this book "this is a safe space" and it really is a safe space. As a Christian who always had a lot of difficulties with relationships around me, I felt super safe and NEVER judged while reading this book. I've known the author since The Bachelor and to see her evolution to this day is amazing. I see the services she does in church and it always inspires me to be better. I read this book almost like a devotional and it was one of the best reading decisions I have made. I recommend this book to everyone. Not only to Christians, but also to those who feel that something is missing in their lives and in their relationships. I have already bought the author's first book and I am sure I will enjoy it as much as I enjoyed this one. Also, in the last pages, Madi shows us her wedding vows to Grant and I got a tear in the corner of my eye. I already have a love like this too, but her book really helped me fortify my primary relationship. My relationship with God.

BLURB:
Is there something wrong with me? How many more wrong ones until the right one? Am I hard to love?

Madison Prewett Troutt knows what it’s like to ask these questions in the middle of the night—to doubt and worry about never finding the love so desperately hoped for. But Madi has discovered a deeper truth now, that the love we’re searching for is already ours.

In The Love Everybody Wants, Madi sets aside the shallow messages our culture shouts every day to help us hear God’s beautiful whisper: I have loved you with an everlasting love. And nothing will ever change that.

Drawing from Scripture and stories from her own life, Madi invites us to embrace God’s unconditional love so we can love ourselves well—and never settle for less. The Love Everybody Wants empowers you to

• view relationships in whole, holy, and healthy ways
• rely on biblical strategies for healing when your heart is hurting
• overcome lies such as “I have to follow my heart and feelings above all else”
• understand that a life partner is meant to complement you, not complete you
• look to your future with joy—because you were made to love

This isn’t a manual for how to get a boyfriend or a manifesto for getting married. It’s a book about the abundant love already at your fingertips—the love God has for you. The love that lasts forever, the love that changes everything. The love everybody wants.

MY REVIEW:
I really enjoyed this book. Teaching you how to love yourself, how to open your heart up to real love, instead of the love social media says you want to have, was eye-opening. There were a lot of good messages in this book, and I think Christians and non-Christians would be able to take something away from this.

Thank you to NetGalley for a copy of this book in return for my honest review.
