Pianist Autumn Adler is finally making her solo comeback after a dreadful tragedy and a painful recovery. But someone doesn’t want her to take the stage and is trying their best to discourage her.

Coming to terms with the danger she faces, Autumn has to find a way to bravely pull down the walls she built around herself and stop being “perfectly fine” all the time. While the suspense in this one was an undercurrent, it still had enough weight to ensure a good and satisfying end to all the curiosity.

Ms Perfectly Fine is the story of taking back what’s yours while finding strength in love and everlasting friendship. A love that walks into your life and home one day, never to leave again and a friend that suddenly left one day and completely changed everything. While Elijah Wells was indeed the strongest sunshine to Autumn’s closed off, grumpy demeanour, Mollie was the friend that never had to see Autumn slowly close herself away from the world.

I really duping enjoy this book. But I’m not sure I’d classify it under romantic suspense. There was a little suspense and a little Mystery but mostly it was a romance. That being said I loved the romance between Autumn and Elijah. After the first chapter I hated Elijah after reading the second chapter I truly loved his character and was rooting for him. I also loved autumn determination to not let her Chronic Pain get her down. I don’t think I’ve read a story that had a character with chronic pain so it was nice to see it written in a story. I loved Elijah though his determination to when Autumn in the end was very endearing to me. The novel mentions past trauma, chronic pain ,and stalking. It ,may be a trigger for some but I don’t feel it was overly done. I would have like to had a bit more of the suspense/mystery in the story. I’m also tend to read closed-door romances so while I enjoyed the story I wish I had a heads up that the romance had steamy open-door scenes. All in all the story was well written and ends with a happily ever after.

Fun, fresh and cute and everything you’d want from a romance. Gave me the much needed serotonin I was after

Meh. He was mean and rude and then suddenly not? I’m a big believer that a persons character is pretty consistent… so I struggled to get behind this one from the beginning.

Thank you NetGalley for granting me access to this book in exchange of a honest review.

I am giving this book 3 starts.

This was okay. Unfortunately, even though I tried very hard, this wasn’t the book for me. I went in with huge expectations as this book has an intriguing blurb and a beautiful cover. However, I did find myself disappointed throughout the book.
This book had some of my favourite tropes: forced proximity, grumpyxsunshine etc.
I think what went wrong for me is that I felt that the characters were bland. In the beginning they were fine but then there was no more development. Personally, I do like when characters have a bit more depth. As well, I am not a big fan of the whole insta love trope and that was one of the main reasons why I struggled reading this book.
Finally, I think the whole mystery subplot was very unnecessary and just added unnecessary drama and I believe it would have been better just as a romance.

Unfortunately, this book was a bit of a miss for me and I wish I had liked it more.

Again, thank you NetGalley for the ARC in the exchange of a honest review.

Another absolutely beautiful read by @katecallaghan
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Autumn is a concert pianist who lives with chronic pain following an accident. Elijah is a tech whizz and games designer who unexpectedly moves into Autumn's house.

This books was just wonderful and I smiled the whole time reading it. It was super enjoyable and I read it fairly quickly - a perfect light hearted romance and I'd say a great summer read! I also absolutely loved the thriller element of this book and I was kept guessing until the reveal.

I loved Autumn, I loved Elijah, I loved Brinkley.
❤️Grumpy x sunshine
❤️Forced proximity
❤️Enemies to lovers
❤️Split POV
❤️Lots of music
❤️DOG

Soooo many amazing things in this book and I love how the author depicted living with chronic pain.

This is definitely a book you should be adding to your summer tbr! ✨

Thank you @netgalley for letting me read this book🥰

I really liked this book. I wanted to like it a lot but it was good but not great. I would rec it to anyone who likes these kinds of books. The only reason it does not rank higher is that it is somewhat un memorable. its just another romance with a guy thats kinda likable but kinda has rough edges. It gets a good 4 stars as it gave what it should give.

This was DNF, the characters and writing wasn't really for me. I can see how this could be a famous booktok read but not for me.

It definitely felt different scenes fixed together because it doesn't really flow smoothly as a plot. The reasonings behind the characters' actions were not good enough for me.

It has some nice representations though.

Thank you to NetGalley and the publishers for the ARC.

This is a DNF that kind of breaks my heart 😭

I wanted to like this book but I struggled with getting into it. The characters felt immature, the whole premise felt very unrealistic, and the lack of chemistry between the characters just didn’t do it for me.

Even though it started with immediate story, it felt like it kind of dragged and it didn’t spark any kind of interest for me and I just couldn’t get past 20% - it took me a month to even get that far.

I LOVE the mental health rep & I loved the chronic pain rep. It was definitely something that I was excited to see in a book.

Even though this wasn’t a book for me, a huge thank you to NetGalley and CallaghanWriter to this ARC in exchange for my honest review.

I really wanted to like this one but it just fell flat for me. I think it had a lot of potential but the relationship between the two main characters felt kind of forced and I thought their banter was kind of cringey.

Thank you NetGalley for the arc!

Forced Proximity is one of those “I see it and I’m sold” tropes, so I was really excited about the premise. The actual carry out was not done as well as I hoped.
I enjoyed the romance between Elijah and Autumn, but I felt like there was a ton going on and it could have possibly been split into two books or a book and a novella and been fabulous. I liked the disability awareness piece, being disabled myself. But I felt that the pacing was off which hindered my ability to fully enjoy it. This had a really great premise, I just wish it had been carried out better.

Thank you so much for giving me the chance to read this book, I couldn't be happier to have that opportunity! This book was excellent, it had mystery, drama and the most important of all for me, romance. I literally couldn't put the book down once I started reading it.
Both the main characters, Autumn and Elijah, had beautiful character development, especially Autumn, she had to overcome so many difficulties both physically and mentally/emotionally and thanks to Elijah she was able to do so, and finally understood that just because she can do it by herself she doesn't have to, and having a man such as Elijah is probably the dream that many women who have been through similar situations would love to have by their side.
Autumn's story really moved me, because just like her, music really helped me with my mental health (and also reading really helped too).
This is the second book from Kate Callaghan, the first was the naughty or nice clause, and it quickly became one of my favourite Christmas books, highly recommend her books!

Excellent book, I liked the characters and the plot and intrigue.
I despised the parents though and they were wet and lane.

This was a really good book, I could imagine the characters and they were all very interesting and held my attention.
I would thoroughly recommend this book.
Thank you NetGalley for the arc in exchange for an honest review.

I tried, I really really tried to get through this book.
The story idea is intriguing, but there are waaaay to many plot holes in this and even more cringe worthy character flaws. After nearly a month of trying to push myself through, I give up.
Time of death? DNF'd at 42%
It's unfortunate because I LOVED The Naughty Or Nice Clause by Callaghan.
Ah well, win some and lose some.
Thank to NetGalley & CallaghanWriter for my ARC.

This book was very cute. I really liked the dynamic between the main characters but I do feel like their relationship was extremely rushed. I enjoyed the mystery subplot, the twist was good.

3.5/5 ⭐️

Good book over all. I enjoyed the change up of the grumpyxsunshine trope. I don’t find many books where the MMC is the sunny aspect of the book. I did find Autumn slightly annoying at the beginning of the book but quickly loved her sarcastic comments and jabs. Elijah was a joy through out. Definitely worth adding to your TBR. If you are looking for an easy romance novel with a bit side of heart and a little crazy.

Dnf @ 10%

I tried to get into this book bit it just was not for me. The story was just not connecting.

Overall I thought this was quite a cute romance, however, I personally was missing more tension between the two main characters in the beginning. I also felt like the relationship was moving too quickly for my taste and some of the other plots in the story seemed a bit obvious. It was still a fun read though.
