one) for a book that’s called ms.perfectly fine the playlist on spotify does not include the song itself which albeit seems like a minor and unessasary detail would definitely add a touch to it.
two)amazing start gets you hooked on the story vivid imagery
three)i keep saying autumn’s name as august? as not only does she have the vibe but also the whole taylor swift thing.
four)ahh i totally sense enemies to lovers trope here let’s hope it’s well developed
five)is this another ‘what he’s doing is not creepy because he looks good books?’


i could not bring myself to complete it(if i do i’ll update the review) and now it might be unfair for an arc however there’s A LOT of potential with this book(the execution tho was, well not great)which is why i’ve given the three stars

As much as I think it is important to talk about situations like chronic pain or stalkers, sometimes I would like certain topics to be put into a story that makes sense. Instead, here we have a plot that doesn't stand up and a kind of sudden love of a guy who could have anyone and instead falls in love with a hysterical girl I couldn't stand either. It's fine that love is blind but let's not go overboard.....

Qui invece abbiamo una trama che non sta in piedi e una sorta di amore improvviso di un ragazzo che potrebbe avere chiunque e che invece si innamora di una ragazza isterica che non sopportavo nemmeno io. Va bene che l'amore é cieco ma non esageriamo.....

This was an enjoyable read with some of my favorite tropes all in one book!

I enjoyed this story. It was a fun romance book that had a hint of mystery within it and it was enjoyable. I really liked Autumn and Elijah and their story. I feel the romance was a little fast but it was good. I enjoyed the chronic pain rep and reading about Autumn as she comes to terms with herself and her health and what she wants for her future.

This book was an excellent read, the plot kept me interested until the very end. The characters were exceptionally written and you definitely developed a connection with each character.

This was SO cute! I’m such a sucker for enemies to lovers and add in a mystery element? Chef’s kiss.

Ms Perfectly Fine starts out with Autumn, a closed-off pianist who endured a tragic accident years prior, and Elijah, a tech company owner that basically has daddy issues. Cue the fun: Autumn wakes up one morning to Elijah moving in—courtesy of Autumn’s landlord that rented out a room to Elijah without informing Autumn. Did I also mention Autumn’s been receiving increasingly insidious mystery roses annually on the anniversary of her accident? Yeah, it’s a whirlwind.

I really enjoyed this! It was such a cute, quick read that’s guaranteed a good time. It’s a tale of love, second chances, persistence, and forgiveness. I liked the mystery aspect as well—it kept me second guessing myself until the final few chapters. Their relationship did move really quickly, in almost an unrealistic way; but, I loved every minute of it! SO very excited to read The Naughty or Nice Clause by Kate next!

I was immediately drawn to this book by the cute cover and hoped it would be an easy romance book. It was a cute story but it felt too unrealistic.

The transition from hate to love between the main characters felt too rushed, and needed a couple of chapters worth of tolerance/living in harmony before they were kissing each other goodbye.

The FMC, Autumn, created problems and was difficult just for the sake of it. I get that she is the ‘Ms Perfectly Fine’ the book is named after, but she was rude and pushed it too far. The MMC, Elijah however was adorable.

There were various side plots that could have been further developed, such as why Autumn’s dad avoids her concerts, and Autumn and Aimee’s friendship. With a few more chapters, this book could have been a lot more padded out and interesting.

I loved this book. First of all I thought the addition of the Spotify playlist in the beginning was very unique and a cute idea. The story itself I fell in love with. I could not stop until the book was over. I loved Elijah and Autumns relationship and their quips made the book a breeze to read.

Thank you for opportunity to arc. Unfortunately it wasn't for me, I didn't really connect with the characters and the writing in 3rd person just made it difficult to follow. I'm sure it will be a great book for someone else but just not for me

When forced proximity, enemies to lovers get together with a cozy mystery/suspense, you end up with this easy breezy read. It's got multiple plot twists and lots of various representations among the characters such as difficult family ties, chronic pain, and grief.

This book follows child prodigy, Autumn Adler on her return to the stage. She lives a quiet life of routine until video game creator Elijah shows up and sends her perfect plans into a tailspin. Autumn is a sassy and quick-witted FMC which we love to see. Elijah plays her games at the start but is a cinnamon roll at heart.

This fun read comes out June 8th on Amazon!

To start off, I give this book 3 stars. It's not a book I would actively recommend, but if someone mentioned they were reading it I would say "oh I read that, it's good".

I liked that the main character lived with trauma and chronic pain. I liked that she faced her demons in order to follow her dreams, a challenge many would shy away from. I did not understand why she didn't call the police when she found strangers in her house. Obviously I loved the dog.

The relationship between the main characters seemed quite sudden and forced. Ignoring the romance element, I enjoyed the mystery, which really isn't all consuming. I can happily state that I figured out the twist while my others did not.

Overall a lighthearted read. I would be happy to read more by this author.

I had to DNF this book at 23%. The third person narration felt off to me and I could stop thinking about it while reading. I couldn't connect to Autumn or Elijah character. I found Autumn to be a bit too whinny and petty for my taste. I know it's supposed to be an enemies to lovers book but the reasoning felt very childish and I couldn't read it without scoffing. Thank you to net galley for the opportunity to read this ARC. I'm sure it's someone else cup of tea but it isn't mine.

I think Ms. Perfectly Fine was kind of…just fine?

I have a lot of conflicting feelings when it comes to this book. I liked the characters but didn’t love the dynamics too much, I love a mystery but the twist and some pieces just felt like I needed to suspend my disbelief a bit too far; it’s all a mixed bag.

Starting off with the things that I liked: I love seeing chronic pain representation in books. It lets me feel a little bit more seen and I appreciate when the characters don’t become a caricature of chronic pain. The portrayal felt relatively realistic to my personal experienced. I love a grumpy x sunshine dynamic and one of my favorite tropes is ‘he falls first’ and both of those were done well!

As for what I disliked: I feel as though it was insta-love when I think Elijah and Autumn’s relationship would have felt a little more natural to me if it had developed a little more. I was able to predict the twist but that didn’t ruin the story for me, what did was the antagonist almost seemed to become a melodramatic villain during the reveal and it felt a little cheap. I think there was a lot of explanation when illustration would have served the story better!

(I’m waiting until traditional publication to update my review because there was something about another reveal that I want to address but I don’t want to post any spoilers until the book is officially out!)

Overall, it was a fine book! It’s pretty middle of the road for me but it was a quick, cute read that I’d recommend giving it a shot!

An easy and fun read!!

Let's be honest, the beautiful cover was what made me pick this book from Netgalley! I didn't even check the blurb before requesting it! But I don't regret it. It was amazing.

When I started reading and realized Autumn's condition, it might hit too close to home! For a second I doubted reading it because when there are health conditions in books, they aren't accurate most of the time, but I was impressed with this book. It was respectful and accurate (even tho I know it's different for everyone)

Moving to the characters I feel both of them are lovely, and both of them have some growth which is good. I feel that for Elijah it was a little bit of insta-love but their relationship didn't start right away so I was okay with it. Autumn annoyed me at some point, I was like, come on girl!! Get it together, don't be an A!s but then I put on her shoes and I was like, maybeee she is right!!

Now about the plot, the author did an amazing job, because she started leaving all these hints and you are like, I KNOW WHO IT IS!! but then when the end gets closer it's like: ARE YOU SURE ABOUT YOUR GUESS?.

In general I love the story and characters. It was a good book to read on a weekend. Easy to read, lovely and funny, the perfect combination.

This was an ok read for me. I enjoyed the characters, and the way that it addressed chronic pain. With that being said, I didn’t connect with the characters, but I enjoyed the story

Autumn and Elijah were a really fun duo.
I’m going to rate this book 3 stars overall.
I found that some pieces of this book felt slightly long, for example; the beginning where Autumn and Elijah are first meeting. The pace just felt slightly off and the banter felt a touch repetitive at times.
Other times, I wanted some more. Without giving too much away, I’d love to have seen more of the last 15% of the book. It would have been nice to spread it out juuuust a hair more. The suspense peak felt a touch rushed. I did really enjoy the build up through the book, but found Autumn’s story at the end just pushed through. Would it have needed to be a duology? No, but it could have been fun!
Chronic pain/illness representation was nice to see as well. Seeing someone experiencing their life while dealing with this felt very…. Visible for lack of better words.
All in all, I thought it was fun but found myself having a hard time working through some pacing issues. Elijah was almost too perfect.

Ms Perfectly Fine is a story about Autumn, who is an incredibly gifted pianist who suffered a terrible accident ten years ago. Currently, she is trying to make a comeback within her theater and hopefully go on tour. One morning, Autumn awakes to a stranger moving into her rented home. She goes downstairs and meets Elijah, a video game designer who appears to be very good-looking and cocky. From the moment they meet, the banter begins! Autumn is someone who enjoys her privacy and hopes that Elijah will move out of the house immediately. However, Elijah has different plans. Elijah becomes enamored with Autumn and we start to truly see who he really is. Elijah helps to bring Autumn out of her shell and helps to live her life a little more fully.

I absolutely loved this book! I thought that it was very well written and I couldn't get enough of the characters and found myself smiling while many of the parts where Elijah and Autumn were bickering. I thought that both characters had great growth and I really enjoyed the little bit of suspense wrapped into the plot. It was nice to read a book that had a little spice with some plot. I will definitely read another book by Kate Callaghan.

I couldn’t finished this one - I put it down at 20%.

It sounded really cute from the description and I liked the dual POV style, but ultimately it wasn’t for me.

I didn’t like the parts of the plot I had read (their meet cute was unrealistic - she’s too busy to call her landlord about a strange man in her HOUSE?! Even in the car on the way to work? He moves in thinking it’s ok to move her furniture out of the house into a storage unit? Just. No.) and the meta conversation about romcoms. But the third strike for me was when the MMC manhandled the FMC. He knew she hated him and he still decided to get into her personal space and put his hands on her? I don’t find that cute on endearing at all.

It’s a shame because the bones of it were interesting.

OH MY GOD, I am literally obsessed with this book, I wanted to reread it straight after I finished reading it, it had everything I could possible want from a book and I am so IN LOVE WITH IT.

To start with our characters, Elijah and Autumn are honestly such good characters.

Elijah made me want to kick my feet and giggle, he was so swoon worthy. I loved how he was written, to be cautious and conscious of not pushing Autumn too far, and trying to support her but in a way that didn't make her feel smothered or uncomfortable.

I also loved Autumn, she was such a huge credit to the story, she was written so well and the way the author wrote her living with chronic pain SHONE through the pages but without making it her personality and allowing her to have other interests and goals and dreams.

They both worked so well together and I think the 3rd person, split POV worked well for the flow and progression of the story.

The writing as well was EXCELLENT, it had some truly amazing quotes and phrases that I actually tweeted about because they made me blush or grin or kick my feet and giggle. I also loved how there were added layers within the story, the way the author wove the more thrilling aspects to the story was really cleverly done.

It was such an easy book to read and everything just slipped into place perfectly.

And as for the plot, I was blown away by how good it was. I loved how it wasn't just forced proximity and enemies to lovers (aka my F A V E trope) it had so many other aspects that padded the story out and allowed the book to feel longer than it was. I loved the whole backstory and side story for Autumn and Elijah respectively, whilst also maintaining the romance aspect, it was really well done.

Whilst the story wasn't exactly heavy on the atmosphere and intrigue, it just wasn't needed in this kind of story, and the book worked perfectly without some overload of crazy plot and ridiculously tense chapters.

I just absolutely loved everything that this book had to offer and I literally want to scream about it from the rooftops, it was SO DAMN GOOD.

Forced proximity is maybe my favorite trope but I don’t know about this one. If I woke up and there were movers taking my stuff and some random guy telling me he lives in my house there would be calls to the police, to the landlord, to the mayor. I would not just be like “oh ok” and then go to work.

Their love story was sweet, but dang it happened in what, a week and a half?! C’mon. I’m all for suspending reality and going along with a crazy plot but let’s be serious here.

I liked the “mystery” but it either needed to be more prominent or not be there at all. It felt like an afterthought that was thrown in to get more words into the manuscript.

And finally, he bought the house?! Without even talking to her?? And she was HAPPY about that?? Ugh.

3.5 overall as I enjoyed reading for the most part, but it’s only looking at it afterwards that I think I’m scoring it too high.
