I was completely engrossed and touched by this book. Autumn and Elijah’s story is filled with painful memories, physical pain, but with courage and tenderness to see them through. They start out as enemies when he encroaches on her living space and there are some very funny scenes as they try to one-up each other! But the story really gets going when their sparring becomes banter, leading to a very sweet coming together. There’s a bit of a mystery in this story, too, which adds another layer. I really enjoyed this book!

I DNF'd this book about 25% of the way through. I thought Elijah was an insufferable jerk (even in his own POV, which, yes, showed a little of his thought process and some of him being a little less awful, but still). I wasn't even rooting for them to find a way to cohabitate, let alone actually get together; all I wanted was for Autumn to cuss him out and kick him out.
The way they spoke to each other might have worked for me if they'd had any sort of history, but since they'd just met--in a VERY high-stress situation, especially for Autumn--it read more as childish antagonism that felt very out of place than banter that could eventually draw them together.
I know it's an enemies-to-lovers, and them hating each other at the beginning is the point, but as a reader *I* still need to want them together during the enemies portion for a romance book to land for me, and I didn't.

The book seemed promising, but in the end felt overwhelming and like the author was trying to do too much with the plot.

I initially enjoyed the match of Autumn and Ei, along with the initial attempts by autumn to get Eli to move out. My enjoyment was watered down with the drawn out adventures of home life and the addition of the mystery the final portion of the book. The pacing could be adjusted as some portions were too fast and other too slow. Overall, I did not enjoy this book.

This is a really interesting take on a romance - while it may lean romantic suspense, the suspense was definitely on the lighter side. There was a lot of humor woven throughout. I think the chronic pain aspect of this book was done SO well, both how Autumn was portrayed, and how Elijah treated her, it brought the story from a 3 to a 4 for me. It really is great to see this sort of representation in a book. I almost think the suspense part of the story came as an afterthought, and I'm not entirely sure it's needed. Autumn and Elijah had enough going on that it would have held the story I think. I'm torn because there are parts of the book I really did enjoy, but others felt a little off. I think if you want to dip your toes into a romantic suspense without it being too awful, and still focused on the romance primarily, this would be for you. I really wanted to love this book. The premise was great and I love a great stalker romantic suspense but it just fell a bit short for me in some places. I feel like there were lots of inconsistencies that kept throwing me off both with timing and location. Example without spoiler: they were supposed to be in the bedroom but on the next page (same scene) they were suddenly grabbing something from next to the couch without ever moving. And sometimes I thought it was the weekend but all the sudden it was Monday. I found myself having to reread areas to try and clarify for myself.

I did love the chronic pain representation and love that it was own voice written. You could really tell the care the author took with this subject! As someone who also deals with chronic pain this really drew me in.

All in all I think that this book has potential but the inconsistencies just still need to be tightened up so that the story can flow better.

Let me just say- absolute perfection. I loved this book so much. Autumn and Elijah made me WEAK. I couldn’t put it down. Also, this is quite possibly the most beautiful romance novel cover I’ve ever seen. I can’t wait to have a copy for me shelves.

Oh I loved this book! It was such a fun and enjoyable read with great characters. Autumn and Elijah had a great relationship development and I enjoyed their banter.

Ms Perfectly Fine is a romance following Autumn and Elijah as they learn to accommodate one another in their shared space, forced proximity realness. However, there is more going on in Autumn's life than meets the eye, as they become closer, secrets are revealed.

This is a new genre for me that I didn't expect to enjoy so much, romance with secondary suspense. Let's get into my favorite thing about this book. There was no third act breakup. There was minimal miscommunication once the couple got together. The main character deals with chronic pain that regularly effects her work performance. The man is the sunshine, and she is oh so grumpy.

I'm giving this book 4 stars because it didn't blow me out the water and become an instant favorite, but I really enjoyed the book. I loved seeing disability representation that felt authentic and wasn't looked at as the end of the world. Most importantly, I loved how genuine the chemistry was between the couple.

Brilliantly written, slow burn romance. The two main characters were so likeable and I was rooting for them from the start! Enemies to lovers is my favourite trope ever and this was such a brilliantly delicious slow burn. I loved the mystery twist to this book, it really added another element to the usual romance story. The topic of chronic pain in this book was so well written and sensitively handled by the author. I loved Autumn's back story and how this was explained.

A thoroughly great read. I don't usually go for books with a serious thread such as chronic pain, but it was done so well, still being entertaining whilst raising my awareness of some of the issues. The main characters were very well crafted and I really invested in their relationship. I felt some of the background characters needed a little more fleshing out, for example Autumn's parents. Other than that, a really well written novel.

I was really hooked by this book's blurb and lovely cover. Sadly, it didn't live up to my expectations for it. This is, by no means, a terrible book, and there are a lot of people out there who will really love it. I mean, a concert pianist and a game designer should make for amazing dynamics. Lol. However, they are pretty one-dimensional, and they fell for each other *really* quickly. There were also several side plots that either should have been left out so as to make more room for development of the main characters and their relationship, or the book should have been longer to allow for those side plots. It was just a lot happening and not enough space for all the drama.

This book centers around pianist Autumn Adler as she gets ready for her solo comeback, 10 years after a tragic accident that killed her best friend and left her with chronic pain. This book begins with Elijah Wells moving into her house, prompting a misunderstanding, as he believes she'd been told he was arriving and moving in.

The largest issue that I had with this book was that I was never rooting for Elijah. When the book starts, he's not only moving into Autumn's house without ever having met her or learned that she's okay with it, he's also hired movers who are taking her belongings and sending them to storage, without ever consulting her. He then changes the locks in her house, making her stay outside in the rain, repeatedly eats the meals that she's prepared for herself, and repaints her hallway,

Additionally, when he first moves in she agrees on the terms that she needs to practice piano a lot, as she's a concert pianist, and he agrees that she can do so. The very first time she tries to practice he gets annoyed that it's early (because he stayed up until 4am) and throws her over his shoulder and bans her from practicing in the mornings. While all of this could maybe be overlooked if he was meant to start as obnoxious and grow, his character does not evolve over the course of this book. All of these things are "poking fun" at Autumn, and she decides that they're cute and charming as soon as they realize they're into each other, despite there being no real transition from hating each other to being in a relationship. The entire relationship plot line threw me off, as there was no point in which I liked him enough to want them together.

Where this book thrives is actually in the little mystery/thriller element of the plot. Someone has been leaving mysterious roses for Autumn for years, and is increasing the number of roses and adding notes now that her solo comeback is closer. This part of the book did keep me guessing for a while, and mostly made sense with where it lead. Overall, this book has some cute elements, but I couldn't quite root for the love interest.

Autumn is a famous concert pianist who is a working on her comeback after a tragic accident and she wants peace and quiet to do so; Elijah just rented out the bottom floor of the townhouse she lives in—unbeknownst to her—while he gets his company off the ground. She wants him out, he wants to stay, and the tension is phenomenal. This book has enemies to lovers, forced proximity, dual POC, grumpy/sunshine, chronic pain rep, AND a mystery!

I truly loved this book and will absolutely be recommending it to my friends! The fact that it’s both a romance and has a mystery stalker makes it stand out and I was equally invested in both sides of it. Autumn is determined, talented, stubborn, relatable, and a total badass. Elijah is smart, equally as stubborn, kind, and loyal. Their chemistry is solid from the start and only grows as they get to know each other and even as I yelled “Recognize you love each other!!!” at my book, it was never in a way that frustrated me enough to have to close the book for a minute. I rooted for both of them the whole time even as I tried desperately to guess who the stalker was before it was obvious. Sometimes, side plots can take away from the main story of the book but, with this one, it felt like they all worked together for the culmination of it all. There was nothing unnecessary or forgotten. It was amazing.

Honestly, I have very little to complain about. My biggest complaint is probably more editing than anything else because I DID almost scream when I would hit another scene where someone changed clothes multiple times within a scene without *actually* changing clothes. Minor things but things that absolutely took me out of the scenes.

Overall, phenomenal book. Absolutely will recommend. 4.5 stars!!!!

I liked this and it was cute but the romance did feel quite rushed, they seemed to fall for each other before they really knew anything about each other at all and it kind of stayed that way. I did also like the mystery of the roses element as well.
It was a fun, quick read but I didn’t love it as much as I hoped I would.

In all honesty, I was drawn to this book specifically for the play on a Taylor Swift song title, however what I got within Autumn and Elijah's story was more than I had expected and I loved it!

Two strangers in one house, what could possibly go wrong? Autumn's life was knocked back by a strange man moving into her house with no warning or explanation beforehand. As expected, Autumn didn't take lightly to this and began to set ground rules with Elijah immediately. The romance blossoming between Autumn and Elijah was built up so subtly, by gentle gestures and caring words that you never knew when they were finally going to admit their feelings for one another.

I got a lot more than I bargained for with this book, in the best way possible. There was a lot of plot lines that I hadn't seen coming, e.g. Autumn's past, Elijah's connection to the house and the stalker who left a rose on Autumn's doorstep. There was a lot going on here, a lot of twists and turns, with a romance in between and it was executed perfectly. I loved this book and can't wait to keep following what Kate does next.
