An Mathis Spring was born in Vietnam in 1939. Her life there was hard in a warring country and she was sent away from her family to work. Eventually she is adopted at 32 by an American couple and moves to Murrells Inlet, SC where she builds her business as the Crab Cake Lady. This book is very short and the writing is fine but at that length doesn't get into too much other than surface details but An is such an amazing, kind and hardworking person there are many lessons to be learned from her.
