Thank you Netgalley & Savannah Scott for this audio ARC!

A sweet small town romance hitting so many tropes and giving the swoons! I did not enjoy the narrators for this series. Because it's so hard for me to engage with the narrators, my opinion of the story suffers a bit, but I thought it was a nice and light romance. No spice. This is the 5th in the series but works as a standalone. The characters are interconnected but they don't need to be read in order.

Doctorshipped was a fun addition to the Getting Shipped Universe. I rated this title 3.5 stars.
I loved the characters this book had, and an always favourite of mine the grumpy/sunshine trope.
This book focuses on Jayme a romantasy writer who has a quirky and fun personality, and Grant a single dad who has just recent moved to the small town of Bordeaux with his daughter. The chemistry between these two characters shone through from the beginning as you witness the timeline move from enemies to friends to lovers in what felt like a very organic way. I loved the dyslexic representation in this book, and how Jayme herself from doubters.
I continue to enjoy the voice narrators of Amy McFadden and Will Damron, they make the book easy to listen to and really add to the story.
I do feel like now that we are in the fifth book in this series it tends to repeat a lot of information, and rely on the same tropes over again.
Overall this was a great listen, and I would definelty recommend this to anyone who is already invested in the series.
Thank you to NetGalley and Dreamscape media for this free Audiobook in exchange for an honest review.

Such a sweet read, and I love the grumpy x Sunshine shine trope! A doctor and a romance writer, is this a story that will lead to the road of true love?

Are you ready for another adventure from the folks in Bordeaux? If so give this one a read. Savannah Scott once again gives us the opportunity to have another fun and romantic adventure. In this book we get to know Jamie and Grant. Jamie a fantasy romance writer always thought she would stay single; she had written love off. However, when the brooding doctor Grant came to town all bets were off.

Once again this story is full of sweetness, caring compassion, and love. We get to follow the main characters as they fall for each other and navigate the obstacles to finding love and companionship. Go give it a read.
Many thanks to NetGalley and Dreamscape Media for the opportunity to listen to this audiobook for my honest review.

This series is great and this book is great! I love all the characters and it all flows so well. Cheesy? Maybe a little, but who doesn’t like a cheesiness? A must read.

I love this series. These small-town romances make my heart happy. This one was such a cute storyline. The broody single father who is also a doctor made for a great male lead. The chemistry between the female lead and his daughter was so adorable. Thank you to the publishers for allowing me a galley of this book. I can't wait to keep reading this series!

Narrated by Amy McFadden ⭐⭐⭐ this narrator's voice grated on me the more this book went on;
Will Damron. Great voice⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Story by Savannah Scott ⭐⭐⭐

If you like triple cheese pizza with extra cheese you will love this book because it is cheeeeeeeeesy.

This is my first time trying Savannah Scott and she was giving me some Carolyn Brown vibes with this cosy romance.

Romance novels can be a hard balance. If they are too short the reader doesn't buy the falling in love and if it's too long the reader checks out. For me it was thd latter. This was far too long and moved too slowly for me to love it and get those feels but overall it was ok.

So like I said about if you enjoy Carolyn Brown definitely give this a go.

Another quaint and quirky romcom by author Savannah Scott: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️💫

🎧Bordeaux is an enchanting town full of humour and love. Single dad Grant is a grump. Man hater Jayme is a bucket of sunshine. Together they’re in for an emotional and entertaining ride. The characters are sweet and well rounded. Not to mention Jayme’s belief in her own self worth is on point. The audiobook narration is great. Dual POV and dual audiobook narration. If you’re looking for a light romcom read check it out!

Huge thanks to NetGalley for an audiobook arc of this fun story!

I enjoyed this story until the big break up/miscommunication. I think they fought for the sake of the book needing a conflict, because their fight, and Jamie's anger, seems very unreasonable. Two adults would have talked that out much simpler than Grant and Jamie did.

I received a complimentary audio copy. All thoughts are my own.

Doctorshipped was so cute and fun! Perfect if you like grump x sunshine (and the banter that goes with this), gossipy small town, single dad tropes. It was a tad insta-love/infatuation at the beginning, but Grant and Jamie are super loveable and the book takes its time developing the relationship. It's also completely clean, not even an closed door romance which really allowed the characters to shine in my opinion. If you like Hallmark movies and Sweet Maglonias, check out Doctorshipped.

"Like, why let his grumpiness affect me?⠀
I'm going to be unapologetically me. He's just a raincloud. I'm the freaking sun." ⠀

Savannah Scott, Doctorshipped⠀

Doctorshipped by Savannah Scott is an adorable romance that made me smile more than I thought it would! Grant is the perfect prickly perfectionist with a sassy teen daughter and a hard shell around his heart. Jayme is a sweet soul with a carefree personality that hides a past hurt. I loved their airport meet cute and how they kept getting thrown together in unlikely scenarios throughout the book. When the ghost of Grant's ex-wife comes back to haunt him it upsets everything but I liked the way the characters handled the drama. This romance series has been one of my favorites of the year and I'm so glad I got to read it!

Revisiting the fictional small town of Bordeaux, Ohio in “DoctorShipped” was an absolute TREAT❤️ I truly adored all of the townsfolk we’ve come to know over the course of this series, and I was SO excited to see Jayme finally find a love of her own🥰

Grant was just the PERFECT grumpy doctor!! I loved getting to see him acclimate to the UNIQUE ecosystem that is Bordeaux… squirrel stew and all☠️😂 #iykyk And his adorable 11 year-old daughter (Fiona) made for the sweetest single dad trope😍 I loved seeing the special bond form between Jayme and Fiona🥹 I also appreciated seeing dyslexia representation in this story!! As an educator, I was particularly fascinated by the teaching strategies Jayme used with Fiona to overcome her dyslexia❤️ Highlighting recipes was genius!!

Last but not least, the ROMANCE was spectacular😍 Savannah is amazing at writing clean but SWOONWORTHY romance elements!! The grumpy/sunshine dynamic between Grant & Jayme created great tension which allowed for pleeeenty of romance to blossom and I was HERE for it🤩

Overall, I highly recommend this clean/small town/doctor romcom🥳 NOTE: this is book #5 in the “Getting Shipped” series which is best enjoyed when read in order!!!

🚨TW: loss of a parent, cancer, abandonment
🚨CW: just kisses and no language

Calling all single dad trope fans who love grumpy sunshine romance! This is the book for you!

This book is a perfect example of a rom-com and has all the elements that us readers enjoy. For anyone who has read the Getting Shipped series this book continues to show the characters we've loved from the previous books as well as the meddling town! I think this book does a great job showing love happening in the most unexacting places with people you would never expect. Our main character Jayme has been shown in other books and she is genuinely a character who thinks love just might not be for her. I like that she isn't just tired of being a fifth wheel and that's what put her out there, this is genuinely something she didn't look for at all. And Grant opening himself back up to her was sweet and charming!

Overall, I would recommend this book to anyone who loved the show Hart of Dixie who is looking for a sweet rom-com involving an eccentric local and the new doctor! Thank you NetGalley for the opportunity to read this story!

Another 5 star book in this series! Excellently plotted clean romance. Funny and entertaining. You'll fall in love with these characters. The author always addresses some serious issues along with healing from broken relationships. The single dad trope is on point in this one!

Thanks to the author for the copy. All thoughts in this review are my own.

Everything in this book is ok, my main issue is that everything is okay. All the characters are just ok. The plot is just ok, the reason for the 3rd act break up was just meh.
The only think I liked were the jokes and all the town's elders.

“We treasure the things we work hard for. And we work hard for the things we treasure.“

I LOVED this book! Every book I’ve read or listened to by Savannah Scott has become an instant favorite and Doctorshipped even more so. I have to admit I love the brooding, grumpy hero and Grant Pepper is that and more! The chemistry between him and Jayme leapt off the page. I adored the grumpy/sunshine romance, the witty sparing, and the crazy situations they find themselves in (Brooks and the painting scene comes to mind.) along with the beloved residents of Bordeaux.

Jayme is a fantasy romance writer trying to get a contract with a big publisher. After a bad breakup, she’s sworn off men and embraced single life. A chance encounter at the airport with a grumpy doctor and his young daughter leaves a lasting impression on all of them. When he turns out to be the town’s new doctor and interviews Jayme to be Fiona’s new tutor, the sparks fly.

Grant is not looking for love. After his wife’s cancer diagnosis, he and Fiona were left alone to deal with the painful aftermath. Hoping for a fresh start, Grant accepts a position as the new doctor for Bordeaux. Little does he realize what he’s in for and all the eccentric patients he’s just inherited. The new tutor though has the potential to change his views on a lot of things. Her sunshiny personality is a balm for both him and Fiona, but will this perpetual grump be willing to open himself up to Jayme, or risk losing her?

I loved these two! Grant is the handsome grump you just can’t help but want to tease, and Jayme does. From her Dr. Pepper jokes to her playful ribbing, it’s hard for Grant not to fall for her. I also loved the fact that she’s shorter and curvier than most heroines, whom Grant dubs his fierce pixie. The secret Grant keeps from her has the potential to break them apart and I loved the “thrilling” (iykyk) grand gestures he attempts to win her back.

The audiobook version was pure perfection! The narrators did a fantastic job bringing all these characters to life. I appreciated the depth of emotion and humor they put into their performances. Holy cow, listening to Grant’s narration melted my heart! I don’t always love children in books, but Fiona is adorable. I appreciated that the author and narrators were true to her age and intelligence and didn’t make her sound babyish.

This fantastic, clean romcom is definitely one you’ll want on your must read or listen to list! It’ll have you laughing, smiling, swooning, and even shedding a tear or two. Highest of recommendations! Though it’s the fifth book in the Getting Shipped series, it could be read as a standalone, but does contain spoilers for previous books. I received an advanced audiobook copy from the publisher through NetGalley. All opinions are my own and voluntarily given.

Thank you to Netgalley for providing an audio ARC of Doctorshipped in exchange for my honest review. I was also lucky enough to receive an ARC of "Censorship" which was also in the Getting Shipped series and I fell in love with the world and the side characters.

I had loved Jayme in Censorship and I was so happy when I realized this was her story! I found myself drawn to her in Censorship and loved that I got to see her POV through the story. Even though this is technically part of a series you can read it as a stand-alone as well, I did not read the whole series and just started with Censorship and I was not lost at all, you just miss out on some side character background.

Jayme and Grant were our two main love interests and they had great chemistry and build-up! Great 4-star read for any romance lovers who want a low-stakes cozy read!!

I received a complimentary copy of this book. All opinions are my own.
