I'm all in on these books. The whole series is just darling! Are they cliche and predictable? Of course! But they're just so sweet and happy. Sometimes you just need something that's just happy. Highly recommend.

This is probably my favorite of the series, tied with Em and Aiden’s story. It was just so easy to root for Jayme and Grant. I love the sunshine/grump trope. I love the banter and gentle antagonism. Kids in books are a hit or miss thing for me because so so often they don’t seem age appropriate with what they say or the way they act. Fiona almost seemed too young for her age (11) but it wasn’t off-putting. Her and her dad’s relationship is very sweet. It’s always a joy to see this quirky friend group together, and visiting Boudreaux once again. Thanks to NetGalley for the ARC to review.

Doctorshipped is another wonderful addition to the Getting Shipped! series. The audio book is, like the other books in the series, wonderfully narrated by the dual narrators who are a joy to listen to in all of the stories.
This is such a fun series, with a great group of friends! I have now read (listened to) three books in the series in order from book three through book five. I love getting to visit with previous couples while focusing on the new couple in the current book. However, even if you haven’t read any other books in the series, you can hop in and enjoy this one just fine.
I loved the way Jayme and Grant were pulled toward each other and felt the zing of interest for each other even when they didn’t think they wanted to be together. At the beginning of the story, these two seemed like such opposites (and they were in many ways), however, there was a lot more to Grant than simply being a grump. There were hints to his true heart in the way he treated his daughter, the amazing Fiona, as well as the way he treated Jayme on the flight and even in the airport once they had landed. As the book progressed, it was so sweet to see the way Jayme affected Grant and the way she made his heart come alive.
The author did a great job of growing a relationship between these two, showing the reader the specific insecurities that each character struggled with, and presenting a crisis that they needed to navigate. This was a slow burn romance that was a joy to listen to.
I received a complimentary copy of this book. All opinions are my own.

I have loved every audiobook in the Getting Shipped! series. This became my favorite so far! Jayme has been one of my favorite characters throughout the series. I was so happy when I realized she was getting her own book!
The narrators did an amazing job bringing Jayme and Grant’s love story to life.
Thank you NetGalley and Dreamscape for a copy of this audiobook. This is my voluntary honest review.

Doctor(Shipped) by Savannah Scott is the most recent audio instalment of the Getting Shipped Series. It can be read/listened to as a standalone but.. why would you? This series set in Bordeaux (pronounced, Bord-Ox 😆) is SO charming and every story will have you falling in love with the characters and the town.
Jayme, Grant and Fiona fit so well together and were extremely easy to cheer for. I saw the conflict coming a mile away, but that didn't deter me one bit. Add this romcom to your summer TBR list!
Amy McFadden and Will Damron, as always did a fabulous job!
Thank you to Dreamscape Media and NetGalley for this ALC!

“I must’ve been a swarm of gnats in a past life.” 🦟
“Did you want to dance, Grant? (Jamie) I would. (Grant)” ❤️❤️❤️
This book is a little different from the others because you really get an overview of basically every character because Dr. Grant treats the whole town. So it helps you to get a feel for the array of personalities. I really liked that. When you read this series no matter which book you start with, you’ll feel like you’ve know the characters your entire life.
Jamie, Grant and Fiona fit so well together. When Grant talks about his ex wife you get the idea that she’s not the greatest but he never really bashes her either. You get the feeling from start to finish that Jamie is his person. It just feels right with her.
Great audiobook as always.

Do you ever sing in your car? I mean, REALLY sing, and maybe do a shimmy or two? And then feel really stupid when people pass you? Or is that just me?
Well, if you listen to this while driving, you will laugh uncontrollably, and then feel stupid when people pass you. But then you'll laugh some more because you just can't help it!
I loved this book when I read it for myself, and I adored the audiobook just as much. It blows my mind how voice actors can make so many different voices! When I try, the kids look at me like I'm an idiot. One of my children actually had the audacity to tell me once that all my voices sound the same! Suffice it to say that I will never make a living being a voice actor.
But these two know what they're doing! I loved it.

We are back in our favorite small town and it’s finally Jayme’s turn. Our miss “forever single” is in for a surprise when a grumpy doctor comes to town and they go toe to toe.
This is a delightful opposites attract rom com. It makes for a perfect summer read. It had me giggling out loud. The romance was sweet and had a perfect build up to where you will be cheering when the first kiss happens.
Thanks to Netgalley and the publisher for sending me a copy. All opinions expressed are my own.

Savannah Scott does it again!
This was the cutest, fun, easiest read of the summer! Scott makes you fall in love immediately with Jayme and Grant. Jayme is fun, quirky, down to earth and free spirited. Grant is a grumpy, older, stick in the mud. Just when it seems like they wont ever see each other again, their paths cross in the most unexpected of ways and Grants daughter makes it impossible for them not be a part of each others lives.
This is a small town rom com that is very clean and good spirited. The audio version was amazing and very well produced.
Will recommend to anyone!

This rom com will have you giggling with delight with some of the crazy antics of these small-town residents. Being from a small, rural, Midwest town, I would like to say that the antics are pure humor and exaggerated, but since I have actually had someone show up at my doorstep with squirrel stew, I can attest that the embellishments while funny are indeed based in reality. Trust me the flavor these hilarious antics add to the story are humor gold especially to someone who has actually seen some of these in reality without the embellishments. Oh, and for the record, no my parents did not make us eat the squirrel stew as they too disposed of it and politely returned the pot to the owner with a thank you note and a plate of cookies. What can I say, small town manners are definitely something to aspire too! This series has become a must listen series for me as the dual narration really brings the characters, their stories, their emotions and their humor more fully to life. In this book, it's a grumpy-sunshine opposites attract story that will having you giggling and tearing up while loving every moment of it! I love this series and I do highly recommend that you read or listen to the series in order as each book introduces you even further into the lives of the characters and townspeople involved!

Like always I feel in love with another book in this series. I LOVED this book! Every book I’ve read or listened to by Savannah Scott has become an instant favorite.I love the brooding, grumpy Grant Pepper and how opposite him and Jayme the colorful writer are because the chemistry between them was so intense. I'm also falling more in love with residents of Bordeaux. Another must read!

Opposites attract in this fun loving small town series. Last of the single girl group Jamie, a romance writer collides with the new doctor in town. This series is like a hug from an old friend.
The audio narrators are excellent.

I liked the book.
I liked the characters individually and the interactions they had with each other. I think having the daughter, who seemed a bit mature for her age, helped build their relationship, making everything more natural.
It was a good book overall, I liked the plot and the tension that was generated between them. And of all the things that were going on in her life besides romance.
It was a good book.
I don't think the drama at the end was necessary, after all he didn't have to tell everyone what happened to him, and as it was something that hurt him a lot, he has the right to talk about it when he's ready. Besides, everyone thought it was like that, jumped to conclusions. Not his fault.
The book is narrated in two voices, and the narrators are great.
Has small chapters, which makes it entertaining to listen to.

I didn't love this one as much as some of the others in the series. I think the chemistry between our two main characters was a little lacking, therefore making the romance not seem all that believable. I also didn't like that Grant lied about his wife. I do like that our main girl was short though! It's rare we have a shorty heroine. The audio was well narrated by both narrators and I was kept entertained.

I'm so happy to be back in Bordeaux! I had a healthy dose of secondhand embarrassment at the first meet between Jayme and Grant and there were plenty more moments sprinkled throughout this story. And I just love these narrators!
Fantasy romance author and job cobbler Jamie is the last single woman left in her small town--or one of them--and grumpy doctor Grant is a single dad, looking for a fresh start with his adorably sweet daughter, Fiona. These characters brought so many smiles to my face with their banter, especially due to Jayme's sunshiny charm. Although Grant seems gruff, he's a big ol' softie! I really appreciated the gradual emotions and fall, as it felt very natural and real.
I enjoy a book that allows me to escape, as this one did, and is full of quirky, small-town residents (especially the older trio) who bring so many antics to liven up an already sweet story. This story is well-written and this group of friends is so tight--they're like family. I feel like I was plopped into the middle of a comforting treat.
Scott has created a lovable series and it's easy to see why readers (including me) can't get enough.
Content: mild romance (kissing); vague talk of cancer

I thought this was super cute, and I'd been meaning to read this series for a while. And despite starting with the last one (oops) I'm glad it can be read as a standalone - you see who all the previous books are about, but you don't have to have read their stories to understand this one.
I liked the characters and the narration, and my only concern is I'm not sold on the motivations of both Grant and Fiona to make the omissions they did when they first came to town. I can't say much, but the twist was... misleading at worst and surprising at best. It wouldn't be the first idea I'd come up with to strum up some conflict, but it's also highly uncommon, so there's that.
thank you Netgalley for the free copy

Doctorshipped was a cute story, grumpy/sunshine and well written! The characters were great without being over the top. This is not the first in this small town series but can be read/listened fully as a standalone. It purely made me want to read more about the other lovable characters. Jaime and Grant were great. I had a hard time for a whole figuring out Fiona's age. Some scenes she seems like a teen, and others like a toddler but that's probably par for the course of a preteen lol!! Overall a really cute, small town story.

OBSESSED!!! This was such a good book! I listened to the audiobook and loved every second. The characters are so charming. The small town charm makes you feel at home. I absolutely love a big ole grump turned softie story and this one was perfect!

"You're family Jayme. Besides I'm living vicariously through you and Grant. Those early days are the best. I wouldn't trade the seat Trev and I are in for anything, but I love that feeling of crossing over the line and finding out someone feels as much for you as you do for them".
The quote stuck with me well beyond me finishing the book. It truly captures the butterfly inducing thrill of the early days when you are just falling in love.
Finished in a day and was absolutely delighted by this small-town novel about two people committed to never getting married. A grump and a sunshine, obviously a perfect pair!
This is the first novel I have read by Savannah Scott and I am looking forward to now going back and reading the other previous four in the series. I bet I can guess who some of the featured characters are after reading this one!
Jayme and Grant are just fun to read. Grant has moved to town with his daughter Fiona who is in need of a tutor to help her with her dyslexia. After an awkward first meeting, Jayme is not thrilled that her possible new employer will be Grant, but alas, she wants to help Fiona and boy does she ever. Jayme may be a jack of al trades, but that doesn't mean she skimps on her commitments. If anything, Jayme goes above and beyond to learn about ways to help Fiona. Grant is dismayed to have the never-ending sun shining presence that is Jayme in his orbit. However, neither can deny the sizzling chemistry between them.
I listened to this as an audiobook and just fell in love with these characters. A huge thank you to Dreamscape Media for granting me access to this title!

The new doctor is coming and he is single.
Listening to the book gives a new perspective on the book. I actually caught more now that I listened to it than when I read it.
The narrators were wonderful changing voices just a bit when someone else was talking. It added to the drama just enough that I was envolved, but not so much that my imagination was stifled.
Making this page turner even more fascinating.
I recieved a free copy so that I might tell you what I honestly think. Hope you enjoyed my review. Now go enjoy the book.
