Thank you to NetGalley, the publisher, and Savannah Scott for an ARC of this audiobook in exchange for an honest review
This was another great story by Savannah! This one made me laugh so hard! Between Jayme drooling on Grant on the plane, the squirrel stew and “Dr Peppers” and everything else inbetween!
I also loved the relationship between Fiona and Jayme!
I will definitely be reading the rest of this series!

The Shipped Series is the best series I've found on NetGalley so far. I adore each and every installment.
This one follows our girl Jamie, the last woman standing in her friend group. Jamie is a romance author but not contemporary, monsters are her jam ;) and she has sworn off loving again. Completely content with her single status until she meets the town's new doctor and starts thinking giving love another shot might not be so bad.
I really did just leave off two books to finish today at the most emotional parts which means I've been crying since I got to work and for once it isn't the job causing tears!
Grant and Jamie are so awesome together. Both needed a fresh start and to learn to trust and love again. Their journey is so emotional and I really enjoyed being on for the ride. Savannah Scott really nailed it with this grumpy/sunshine.
Thank you to NetGalley and Dreamscape Media for the opportunity to ALC this book and offer my opinion.

A cute grouch and sunny romance. Very funny and well done narriation and interesting characters. A good enjoyable read.

Nice addition to the series. The sweetest woman and the grumpiest man meet for a moment and think that the end of it even though they both have a what if moment. Little do they know he is moving to the teeny tiny town she lives in. Let the will they, won’t they games begin for she has sworn off relationships and his heart and head are locked in a vault with no available key. They are polar opposites with less than zero in common. She loves her little town, whereas he is having a bit of a hard time adjusting to people having zero boundaries and thinking everyones business is everyones business. Sweet clean romance.

Yes yes yes!!! I have to admit I love all of Savannah Scott books but this was was just perfect, I felt like this book had more baggage to the characters that gave them more realistic life. Child with a learning disability, a single Dad. A girl with a lot of odd jobs trying to make it. Definitely a good one to listen to on audio.

4.5 stars!
This is the romance between the new doctor in town and the resident romance author who’s content to be single for the rest of her days. When Jayme agrees to tutor young Fiona, she doesn’t plan on falling for the grumpy doctor who Fiona calls dad. Dr. Grant (whose last name cracks me up every time) is ready for a fresh start in a new town with his daughter. He has no plan to ever find love again, but his forced proximity to the cheery disposition of Jayme, as well as first hand observation of that impact on his daughter, forces Grant to take a closer look at Jayme. When the romance starts to sizzle between them, something from Grant’s past wedges it’s way into the happily ever after Grant and Jayme were just beginning to allow themselves to envision.
I love the grumpy sunshine trope and this was such a fun read with lots of tension, humor and swoony-ness along the way. I did not see that twist coming! (If you know, you know) I loved the raised stakes and the fabulously heartwarming conclusion to this story.
Many thanks to the author and NetGalley for an advanced audiobook copy of this story. The audiobook narrators did a great job bringing this dual POV story to life. All opinions are my own.

This is my second book in this series (first was Censorshipped) and I am so in love with these charming books! I loved Jayme from the last book and was so excited to see her story unfold. Her relationship with Fiona was so so sweet and I loved every second of it. Grant made mistakes but I don't think he ever did anything maliciously. I can't wait to go back and listen to the first couple books! Also there is some heavy foreshadowing for Brooks getting his own story! I can't wait to find out what's next. Savannah Scott definitely knows how to suck you in and make you fall in love!

Quick Summary: A love worth fighting for romance
My Review: Doctorshipped by Savannah Scott is book five in the Getting Shipped series. Believe me when I say, it's another hit!
About the Book: Life in Bordeaux will never be dull. When a handsome yet brooding doctor and his lovely, young daughter move to town, tongues begin to wag and people take notice in a big way. Women of all ages pop in to visit and check out the new prospect.
About Dr. Grant: Grant was not looking for anything more than a fresh start. He and his daughter needed a new beginning where the losses of the past couldn't hurt them. As Grant embarked on his new journey, his path was intersected by a woman who was completely the opposite of him. Why could he not stop thinking about her?
About Jayme: Being forever single was not a big deal. Jayme knew she could be happy without being in a relationship. She had her friends. She had her romances. She was alright. Why was she so aware of the highly attractive physician with the smoldering gaze, the hot body, and the grumpy demeanor?
About the Conflict: The conflict in this wofi-ro can be summed up with the words "the truth will out." The author did a fantastic job of presenting a completely unexpected conflict point. It shifted Jayme and Grant's relationship greatly. The ripple effect impacted more than just the two primary people involved.
My Final Say: This book was so well done. The pacing was just right. The relationship was slow, steady, and sweet. The community was endearing. The conflict and resolution were neatly handled. It was a beautiful story.

Jayme and Grant
Jayme, full of sunshine and sweetness has firm plans to be the last standing single woman in Bordeaux. She also is an author and has severe jobs and she moving out because her roommate is getting married and she need to look for another place to live.
Grant, full of grumpiness, moved to Bordeaux with his daughter to move on from all the pain they experienced the past few years. He has firm plans to just focus on his daughter and his job. The first meeting between them was far from a fall in love at first sight situation. But, once Jayme starts tutoring his daughter, and they spend more time together things begin to change as they start to really get to know each other. loved watching them fall in love and how a Grant only let his smile come out for daughter at first, but then slowly let it come out for Jayme. I adored Grant's daughter Fiona.
Then the plot twist you won't see coming I didn't even see or hear coming.everyone will be in shock I'm rambling holy shots.
It so funny that it catches you off guard.

Thank you NetGalley and Dreamscape media for the free ALC in exchange for my honest review. I LOVED this one more then the previous books. What a fun closed door series. The characters were well developed, the relationship was so cute signle dad trope is my cat nip highly recommend!!!
4.5/5

Jayme has watched all of her other friends get engaged in Bordeaux and now feels that she is all alone. After a bad breakup in college, she has decided that she is going to forever be single even though she is a romance author… when a new doctor, Grant, moves to town and she ends up tutoring his daughter, she is in for a ride. She is so attracted to his broody and grumpy self, but he moved to Bordeaux after his wife’s passing so she plans to stay away. The more and more time that she spends with Grant and his daughter, Fiona, she falls more and more for both of them. There is something that you wouldn’t expect at the ending.
I loved how Jayme kept pushing through all the issues she has had to overcome as well as Grant and Fiona. Grant was the king of putting his foot in his mouth and offending Jayme without meaning to, but he has just faced so much hurt that he is getting over. I enjoyed getting to see more of Brooks and how Ella Mae was so willing to help Jayme with her social media presence.

I received an ARC (advanced reader copy) of this audiobook through Netgalley.
This was a thoroughly enjoyable book.
Jamie is a mostly happily single woman with a bunch of published books to her name. She has an awesome tight knit friend group and a bunch of small satisfying jobs.
Grant is a single father of a little ray of sunshine named Fiona. He’s a sexy doctor with a seriously broody disposition. The father-daughter duo are moving to a small town in Ohio.
This is a romance and a darn good one too!
Can the broody doctor and the sweet as pie writer make it?
Savannah Scott did it again! I love her style and flair! How did she become such a great writer?!?!
And the narrators? I could listen to this duo over and over and over again!
I definitely recommend this book for lovers of sweet and sassy romances!

This was my first foray into the Bordeaux world. First, I love that it’s said “bored-ox”. Just right out the gate the small town charm is thick. We have a grumpy single dad newcomer, his charming, sweet (unrealistic) daughter and our quirky sunshine heroine. This book is a super quick read/listen (I had the audiobook), and feels perfect for a vacay read. Have you read this book before in other forms? Absolutely. I have probably 35+ books exactly like this on my self. But is it worth it when you need something light and happy? Absolutely! The HEA rounds the story out and will leave you smiling.
Because this was an ARC of the audiobook specifically, I want to mention that I really enjoyed the voices of the narration. They seemed to match the characters well which actually had been an issue for me a lot lately.
One quick note, certain moments of this book stuck out in bad/slightly uncomfortable ways that fellow readers may or may not take issue with. One such moment is a quick line about how boys will tease girls if they like them. To me, this is a dated and unnecessary comment that tripped me up a tad. A few other moments felt this dated and/or out of touch with modern sensibilities, and ultimately in a world where kindle unlimited can offer me tons of cute romcom options, has made me not care to prioritize reading the other books in this series.

Thank you NetGalley & the publisher for this advanced audiobook!

The town of Bordeaux is one of my favorites (see the other books in this series). Every story is so unique, but they all have that same charm and comedy. Grant’s moodiness paired with Jamie’s sunshine is so stinkin’ adorable and well matched! I love when a man only smiles for his girl and in this case, his two girls!

Thank you Dreamscape Media and Netgalley for an other book in the series. I really have to go back and reqd the first three (or listen). So many little things makes you love a book or maybe sometimes happens the opposite. But this is the first case. Such crazy situations brings you so much curiosity and faith.
