The book provided a swift and uncomplicated reading experience, with the story unfolding at a steady pace. The friendship and budding relationship between Lana and Christian felt genuine and lifelike, although I had reservations about his decision to conceal his career and wealth from her. It was enjoyable and featured several instances that elicited genuine laughter and numerous heartwarming moments. This book is an ideal choice for Rom-Com enthusiasts, and the prospect of two more books in the series makes it a worthwhile investment of your time.

Everything happens so quickly. The timeline of the story from start to end just fees too short for some exceptionally clever people to make that kind of a life-changing decision. I think the book could have been a little more filled out with respect to the characters too.

I adore @camillaisley books and this has been one I couldn’t wait to read. It has delivered and is quite possibly my new favourite by this author.

This is fun, charming and filled with moments that will keep you smiling. The characters are just gorgeous and you can’t help but love them from early on.

This is beautifully written and transports you. I love how Christian tried to hide his fame from Lana. I found myself smiling at so many different parts of this book.

Isley is a brilliant author and a must for the TBR. This book is one that completely uplifted my mood. Although, I also loved the insight into celebrity life.

This was perfect to read after a busy day. I have loved the interactions between the characters. I found myself completely invested in their journey.

There is nothing negative I can say about this book. It is brilliant from beginning to end. An absolute must for the TBR.

I really loved the premise and the idea behind the story—a hotshot actor falls in love with a STEM PhD student. The start was gripping, the middle waned a bit, and the ending was just a shade uninspired, but The Love Theorem did not fumble its landing, so kuddos for that! A cute, light-hearted read.

I did not finish this one, it was not for me, I couldn't relate to the characters, and just did not care for the story.

The Love Theorem is a closed door romance between a PhD student and Hollywoods hottest star. I like the characters, especially Christian who was almost too good to be true. I did find it hard to believe that Lana had never even seen his face before if he was as famous as he was, it has to be insanely difficult to avoid all pop culture news. I loved their initial meeting and it was all very sweet. A nice easy read.

My Final Say: This was a beautifully penned story. It had interesting characters, realistic action points, and a solid ending. I would definitely recommend it.

This was a cute quick read that started with Lana (a STEM PhD candidate) and Christian (actor, named sexiest man) meeting in a supply closet, hiding from cheating ex (her) and paparazzi (him). Instant attraction plus the fact that she has no idea who he is, what could go wrong?

There's a few things that I loved - his attempts at wooing, I mean the picnic, the cooking, the grand gesture with consulting at the end. 🥰 🫠 🥰 but I didn't love the lack of chemistry, the MMC's gestures were extra thoughtful but he spent a lot of time referring to her not knowing about his profession that it took away from the chemistry that could have been. Additionally there was a lack of some major resolution in certain areas. *SPOILER* the car crash?! Like that felt like a way bigger deal, the third act get back together, while it was a heck of a grand gesture....we didn't get to see anything after they got back together. Tye epilogue was all about his career next steps (with a paragraph on what she had been up to) rather than them. Also, for all of the marketing of the stem portion of the plot, it wasn't really that included.

Perfect for those that want to get lost in a celeb/cinderella rom com for an afternoon!

This read had me gripped from start to finish, it was a really intriguing storyline with two fascinating leads. They were so likeable, I found myself flying through the pages and enjoyed every second of it.

This is such a cute read. You are thrown straight into the story from the first page and honestly I just flew through it. I found it so easy to pick up with likeable characters.

I did find it was a little instalove which I won't lie isn't a favourite of mine but it was okay. Also there is a lot of stem talk and I did find myself skimming some of this. But without it we wouldn't have had a clear picture of Lana's personality so I do get why it was needed.

I really like this authors writing style, really fun, short chapters, relatable storyline, what's not to like?!

I am not someone who reads romance books without fantasy/action in it but i gave this one a chance & i’m so glad i did because it was a great quick read! I’ve been in the mood for a quirky romance ever since ive finished it.

This book gave me Ali Hazelwood vibes. I didn't read the prior books to this series by Isley, but it works as a standalone. I loved the wit back and forth between Christian, the movie star, and Lana, the rocket scientist. I was looking for a little more intimacy or depth though? There was something missing from the book, but I felt it was a cute read and Isley is certainly a talented writer.

This was a sweet, cute, and fun read. Really liked the light hearted nature of the book, and the chemistry between our two main characters was great.

This book was just what I needed to help get me out of my reading slump. Despite reading 15 books last month, I read primarily to meet deadlines instead of reading for enjoyment. So I was super surprised to find I had finished the entire book in a matter of hours.

One of my favorite aspects of this book was Isley’s female protagonist. Lana is academically driven (a doctoral candidate at UCLA). She spends her days teaching and conducting research, and her nights reading with her cats. She is contentious of her carbon footprint and serves her community by helping to close the socioeconomic gap in education.

While The Love Theorem is apart of Camilla Isley’s Love Series, it can be read as a series or as a standalone book. I enjoyed this book so much, I will be reading the remaining books in the series and recommending it to others.

Lana and Christian meet in a storage closet of a hotel. Lana is there having a bit of a well-deserved meltdown- she's just caught her boyfriend and best friend together at the hotel. Christian is a famous movie star on the run from the paparazzi. Despite the fact that his face is everywhere, Lana doesn't recognize Christian... she's a rocket scientist (technically a rocket scientist PhD student) who doesn't watch movies. He loves that she doesn't know him and therefore doesn't want anything from him. She loves that he's sweet and kind.

What follows is an utterly predictable but cute and quick romance. It's the 4th book in a series, but works well as a stand alone (although the previous couples seem adorable). I enjoyed it!

Your typical STEM romcom that’s making the rounds at the moment but this was such an enjoyable read. Their meet cute was something different and refreshing and Camilla really made you hate the ex! Around 3/4 of the way in I did start to dislike Lana and her woke attitude but she clawed her way back into my good graces so it all worked out in the end. I love Camillas writing and can’t wait to see what else she brings out - she’s on a writing roll at the minute!!

There are some appearances from previous characters but the stories are self-contained. This is a dual POV romcom featuring a meet-cute, mistaken identity, a whip-smart scientist, and an actor.

Meet Christian. He’s a movie star who is trying to avoid the paparazzi while staying at a hotel. After rushing into a nearby storage room, he hears muffled sobs. Meet Lana. She followed her boyfriend to the hotel, only to see him and another woman (one of her friends, no less) entering a hotel room together. Since she doesn’t watch television, she has no idea who Christian is. He gives her a ride home, but will he have the courage to see her again?

I read this in one sitting with a couple cups of tea. I found this story to be relaxing, funny, and entertaining with, in my opinion, a great side character. This book gave me Notting Hill vibes and gave me every cozy feeling possible! The story was fast-paced and should be added to your TBR slash bookshelf. I found the characters to be relatable and enjoyed the connection between the main characters… they’re the perfect pair to follow on a journey for an afternoon of reading!
