A very cute fade to black rom com albeit a little too unrealistic even for a romance book.

On to the next
This love at first sight romance was a very cute story!! Just the start of a new series, this story where Lana, a woman working in a man's world, who is strong and stubborn, unexpectedly meets Christian, the sexiest man alive, celebrity actor, in the most unlikely of places.
This was one book I didn't want to put down and I'm looking forward to continuing the series!!
This is Book 4 in the Love Comes First series. I haven't read the previous books in the series, but after reading this I am definitely going to go back and catch up on the ones I missed. I enjoyed the author's writing style, and how she wove in informative little facts within the humor and romance. Christian is a movie star and he bumps into Lana when he is trying to hide from the paparazzi. He stumbles into a storage room and sees her there crying. She has just caught her boyfriend with another woman, one of her friends, go into a hotel room together. Lana doesn't watch movies, so she has no idea who Christian is. Grateful for that little reprieve from fame, he tries to comfort her and he offers her a ride home. These two really seem to connect, and before leaving Lana gives him her number. Christian really wants to see her again, but Lana has no idea how famous and rich he is, and Christian is afraid of what will happen when she finds out.
The story flowed nicely, and I was caught up in it from the very start. It's a fun and quick read with wonderful characters that I immediately fell in love with. They were well-developed and interesting and easily likable. A very entertaining story that left me with a smile on my face! Looking forward to reading the next one!
I received a complimentary copy from Netgalley and Boldwood Books and am voluntarily leaving my review.
A very interesting and an intriguing read. The plot had me hooked since the very beginning, the main characters were fun and entertaining. Overall, I quite loved and enjoyed it
This book was cute but not my favorite story I have ever read. It was very predictable and I found myself struggling to continue reading.
I liked the premise, the whole she is smart and on her own world she doesn't know he is famous and he likes that so he keeps it up and everything is my kind of book, but i think the author didn't know how to balance the two worlds the story goes through. Still good and i still liked it, but having STEAM romance in the premise doesn't help the book.
I hate to say it, but this story just wasn't for me. I felt like the story was all over the place and tried to include too much of what's cool at the moment. Because of that it just fell flat in many places and didn't give me the STEM story I was hoping for. I think the idea wasn't bad, it's just that the execution wasn't quite it. I was missing some real connection between the two MC's.
I'm reading this without realizing that this was published under different title that i've read before and it feels good to read it again!
This book is about a whirlwind romance between the hollywood most hottest and famous actor and a STEM woman professor who's oblivious to his fame. Christian and Lana has a meet cute that's rare to see. This story filled with cute and funny stories along with the dramas that won't leave hollywood stars,
I'd like to recommend this to all of the readers who loves romcom, Ali Hazelwood's stories, or just need a light read!
Thanks NetGalley for the e-ARC
Tracking her partner and her supposed best friend
In a hotel broom closet isn't where Lana thought this would end.
Betrayed, distraught, not sure what to do,
She's hiding, crying, until they leave too.
What Lana never expected was someone to join her there,
To hide himself - and so witness her despair.
He's Christian Slade, an elite Hollywood star,
Hiding from the paparazzi who won't let him go far.
Christian offers to help this damsel in distress
When she shares just why she's in such a mess.
What he didn't expect is her not to know who he is
As the chemistry between them starts to fizz!
A heartwarming read with this star crossed pair
Finding romance and beginning to care.
But what happens when she discovers his fame?
Will things between them change or remain the same?
A fun read with a rocket scientist and an actor star
Finding each other and just who they are.
With lots of surprises for both in store
A fun read, the kind that I adore!

It’s definitely worth reading as it’s fun and fast paced, the characters are delightful and easy to follow.
a cute and charming romcom that was delightful.
thank you to netgalley and to the publisher for this review copy.
Steminist romance? yes please! I mean it's a genre i never thought I would enjoy but to be honest I love reading about very smart women!
Lana and Christian are me new favourite characters in a romantic story and I absolutely loved how they met in the story. A meet cute?
Highly recommend!
I love the term STEMinist! And I love girl rocket scientists. Very original meet cute. Could relate to not recognizing a movie star. This story will definitely appeal to readers of the romance genre. Recommended for public library collections.
I loved this book! It's such a fun, fast-paced read and I adored Lana and Christian. If you like Ali Hazelwood and/or Penny Reid, you'll love this one!
what a precious and fun read!! i am always so thankful to netgalley for giving me access to books before they come out. this was such an enjoying read! you should definitely check it out when it comes out!!!
Lana and Christian meet while hiding in a hotel supply closet. Lana had tracked her boyfriend and best friend to the hotel and was trying not to lose her mind over their betrayal while Christian was fleeing paparazzi.
Christian is People magazine's Sexiest Man Alive (several years running) and one of Hollywood's A-list actors. Lana is a literal rocket scientist who has no idea who he is. The unlikely duo seem perfect for each other until the stress of fame threatens to tear them apart.
Talk about an adorable meet-cute! It was sweet, a little romantic, and foreshadowing as to how large a role the paparazzi would have in their relationship.
I loved how seamlessly their relationship grew. One date turned into two, two turned into some heavy feelings, then they both over-reacted and caused each other a lot of pain.
Speaking of which...Christian needed to grovel a lot harder than he did. He knew Lana had just come out of a long-term relationship with a lying cheater, and how does he "help" her escape the limelight? By doing something very hurtful rather than talking to her like an adult. I can't stay mad at him though because he did save her career and was adorably mopey at the sake tike.
Love Theorem is a book you'll struggle to put down. The main characters are funny and genuine and will make you wear a goofy smile even through the tension!
Thank you, NetGalley and Camilla Isley, for the opportunity to review this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
This was adorable. A quick read romance with closed door spice. This plot line wasn’t as driving as book 2 (interconnected standalone series).
Lana and Christian were really self involved, until like the very end when they talk about the environment.
This was pretty science heavy. I didn’t mind that, but I could see people not being a fan of it. Nothing that stood in the way of the story. I didn’t understand a portion of it but just read through it.
I still enjoyed this story, but I really loved Love Quest that told Winter’s story.
Special thanks to Netgalley and Boldwood Books for this digital ARC.
I would like to thank netgalley and Boldwood Books for a free copy of the book in exchange for an honest review.
An entertaining read, looking forward to the rest of the series.
This was an adorable, quick and clean read. There's not a ton of substance or big feelings to process --it's just a cute little escape from reality. Sometimes I really do enjoy just disconnecting and falling into a romcom and this book delivered that.
I have been on a big rom com kick recently but this one wasn’t on the same level as the others I’ve been enjoying. There was little depth, no build up of tension, and the dialogue wasn’t as witty as I prefer in this genre. It was too much “insta love” but not enough spice or substance.
