All of these stories were wonderful. I love reading Amish stories and I love Christmas stories so this was the perfect bundle. They definitely put me in the mood, no matter what month I read them, I'm longing for December and Christmas to roll around again. This was definitely a book that made me smile.

Amish Christmas Kinner contains three novellas by Lenora Worth, Rachel J. Good, and Kelly Long. I enjoyed reading the three sweet Amish stories. The three tales are Christmas Eve Baby by Lenora Worth (The Shadow Lake series), Best Christmas Program Ever by Lenora Worth (Surprised by Love series), and Loving Luke by Kelly Long (The Amish Mail Order Grooms series). I thought all three were well-written with steady pacing. They are stories of romance and faith. We get to see how the Amish celebrate Christmas. I like their holiday traditions and how the holidays center around family. I did feel that Christmas Eve Baby was a tad long (when you begin to wonder if it will ever end, you know it is too long). Forgiveness, new beginnings, letting go, family, and faith are the themes. Best Christmas Program is the story that really tugged at my heartstrings. While each novella is part of a series, each one can be read on its own. Amish Christmas Kinner is a collection of stories that can be read at Christmas or anytime of the year. This is a heartwarming anthology.

I enjoyed all three stories in this anthology, but the first was my favourite. I enjoyed being back in Shadow Lake with the King family. All three sisters are now happily married and Colette, the youngest, is not sure if she wants to have children. After the birth of young Liam John on Christmas Eve at the Inn, she changes her mind. This was the longest story of the three in the book and although I thought if could have ended sooner, it a story of family, reconciliation, faith and forgiveness. The Best Christmas Program Ever is from another series I have dabbled in and I did recognize the setting and some characters. I loved the idea of an Amish family being a foster home and taking in children that are both Amish and Englisch. Both Hosea and Emily will dealing with hurt or grief, so this story was about New Beginnings and letting go. How love and children helped both Emily and Hosea do that is a great story. The final story, Loving Luke was short and sweet. Luke answers Grace's ad for a mail-order husband, not sure if he would be acceptable. He has a dubious past, but is ready to move forward in a positive way. With his brothers both mail order grooms before him, he had a family waiting for him. The love of family and God shone through in this story and all the others. If you enjoy Christian or Amish Fiction, then I recommend you pick up this anthology.

This short story collection features Christmas stories that involve children. Each story is unique, but emphasizes the importance of caring for others and remembering the reason for celebrating Christmas. While the characters experience heartache and sadness at times, they are ultimately redeemed by the kindness of others. There are romantic aspects to the stories, but they are clean and sweet, no graphic intimacies. I especially liked reading these stories for the holidays and because the characters were so interesting and they were what made the stories come alive. Each story can be read as a standalone.

A cute collection of Christmas stories which bring families together. Christmas is a magical time of the year while children bring a new prospective to the story. Lenora Worth, Rachel Good and Kelly Long are among the best authors who spins tales which draw the reader. Many times at the end the reader feels like they are leaving new friends when they finish the story. So curl up with a good blanket and enjoy the magic of the Christmas season.

Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for this Novella.

The novella has three short stories from three different authors.

All three stories are wholesome, sweet Amish romance stories.

I really liked all three of the stories and believe allbthree could be developed and expanded into full-length novels.

I hope the authors continue to develop and expand the stories as I would love to read more.

Recommend.

This collection of three Amish novellas center around the holidays and the joys of parenthood.

"Christmas Eve Baby" by Lenora Worth is the longest of the three novellas and is part of the Shadow Lake Inn series. When a mother-to-be shows up at the Inn in labor, the sisters go into action, preparing for a Christmas Eve birth. Meanwhile the men brave a snow storm to find her husband and reunite a family.

"Best Christmas Program Ever" by Rachel J. Good focuses on Emily Flaud, a new cheese stand employee at the Green Valley Farmer's Market. When two foster children enter her life, she immediately takes them in without realizing how their presence will affect her new boss Hosea King, who is still reeling from the death of his wife and son.

"Loving Luke" by Kelly Long introduces the story of Grace Fisher who advertises for a mail order groom to help her manage both her story and raising her children. When Luke King shows up, she finds her heart opening despite her prior abusive marriage. But when a bear attack puts Luke in the hospital, Grace must decide how much of her life she's willing to share.

These are all three feel-good, Christmas stories to get the reader in the mood for the holidays. The stories are uplifting and I really appreciated the sibling dynamic in the first novella. Although it was the least engaging of the three stories, the relationship between the sisters was sweet and honorable. Both the second and third novellas were my favorite with more intricated storylines and complex characters. I especially enjoyed the story by Rachel J. Good as it felt very original to Amish fiction. All in all it was a quick and relaxing read, one that I can feel good about sharing with my teenage daughter as well.

"Amish Christmas Kinner" is a three-in-one book by well-known Amish authors Lenora Worth, Rachel J. Good, and Kelly Long. The first story, "Christmas Eve Baby" is written by Lenora Worth and is the latest addition to the Shadow Lake Inn series. When a mother-to=be is found on the King sister's inn steps in the middle of a snowstorm and in labor, the women go into action.. Meanwhile, the men go out to try and find her husband on the bus. What will happen at the Shadow Lake Inn this Christmas to make it an extra special one?

"Best Christmas Program Ever" is by Rachel J. Good and is the second story in the book. This novel takes place in the beloved Green Valley Farmer's Market, where Emily Flaud is employed by Hosea King at his cheese stand. When two ragamuffin children steal some cheese and candy on her second day of work, Emily's heart goes out to them. What will happen to these poor children this Christmas?

The third novel in this book is "Loving Luke" by Kelly Long. Recently widowed Grace Fisher must be practical, so she puts a mail order groom ad in the paper. When Luke King shows up to answer the ad, she's rather dubious of the scruffy looking man. Will he really be a suitable companion to help her raise her three children?

I found these three stories to be a fun Christmas read. If you're an Amish fiction fan with a bent towards Christmas novels, you won't want to miss this book!

An emotionally stirring set of three stories that will melt your heart. Each centers on a family that is missing a piece and how the Christmas season will bring them all together. The stories are not long, you can read each in an hour or so, but the warmth will last long after you've turned the last page.

This is a collection of sweet Amish novellas that take place around Christmas and make a great holiday read.
The first one is Christmas Eve Baby and takes place at the Shadow Lake Inn, the setting for the Shadow Lake series, where we visit with the three King sisters, their families and friends again and meet some new ones. A special Christmas Eve surprise baby is born there for a special blessing. There is also romance in the air that is festive and fun, especially in the snowy Christmas time. I enjoyed this story the best.
The second story is Best Christmas Program Eve, and this is a visit back to the Green Valley Farmer's Market with new characters. This is a story of healing of grief and pain during the Christmas season that ends in the making of a new family. Sweet, lovely story.
The third story is a new to me author and series, Loving Luke. This story is different from other Amish stories that I have read but is a nice read. The novella is a story about a mail order groom and what is the common thread between the characters is that they are victims of abuse. Touching holiday read about a new family with the hope of another new one, during the holiday season.
I received a copy for the purpose of an honest review. These are my thoughts and opinions.

This is a sweet trio of stories to enjoy during the holiday season. The cover of the book immediately caught my eye and seeing the author's names clinched it for me. I wanted to read this. Another draw is the subtitle of Amish Mail Order Grooms, that in itself is a magnet.
Christmas Eve Baby by Lenora Worth adds a different twist to the no room at the inn story. The delightful King sisters and their husbands are part of a fast paced, sweet story which feels like a family reunion as a new baby is welcomed into the world.
Best Christmas Program Ever by Rachel J. Good finds Emily Flaud working for a grump of a man at the Green Valley Farmer's Market. She has to put up with Hosea because she and her Mamm need income to take care of the foster children that they care for. When two obviously hungry and frightened children turn up at the market, she can tell something is wrong. She has to help while learning that their presence is breaking Hoseas's heart. He has a past that she needs to understand to get to his true heart. This is such an endearing story which deals with grief and hope.
Loving Luke by Kelly Long rounds out this set of stories. I could have read an entire novel with these characters and storyline. Luke answers an ad for a mail order groom. He comes to the town of Blackberry Falls with secrets on his shoulders and a willingness to try for a different life. Grace Fisher feels she has no choice but to take on a husband after the death of her first one. The marriage was heartache and pain. This marriage of convenience was for someone to work alongside her while she provided a home for the man. This is a heart touching story. A secondary love story between schoolteacher Ann and younger man, Wander was a delightful and sometimes humorous addition. I loved it.
I want to thank Kensington Books, the authors and NetGalley for my advanced reader's copy of the book. It's an excellent collection to read during the holidays or any time. This is my own unsolicited opinion.

I enjoyed reading the three stories in this Christmas anthology. 'Christmas Eve Baby' is the longest of the three stories. The family running the inn takes in a woman in labor and rescues other travelers on a snowy Christmas Eve. I hadn't read the Shadow Lake Series, but the sweet story does recap the romances of the family's three sisters. I think that I would have enjoyed reading this story more if I had read the series. I enjoyed 'Best Christmas Program Ever' as it shows the start of a wonderful family. Hosea's father hires a new employee Emily who changes Hosea's life and rescues two runaway children. In 'Loving Luke', Grace advertises for an Amish mail order groom. Luke recently released from prison responds to her ad. Luke is a very sweet man and perfect for Grace and her family. There is also a secondary sweet romance. I enjoyed all three of these light stories. They are full of hope and perfect for the Christmas season. The stories are not as true to the Amish lifestyle and I had to suspend my disbelief at times. It's still a nice anthology.
