Zoe is an engineer who noticed some things were a little off in her company who makes building materials rom concrete. She starts looking at some files at work and is suddenly sent back to New York from London and told the project she was working on was cancelled. She is also cut off from her access to many of the accounts at work.

Zoe meets up with a college friend, Izzy, who also has work issues but soon spills the beans about her concerns for her company. Zoe is introduced to Izzie's Sisterhood, a group of women who exact revenge for other women who are wronged. They come up with a plan to not only find out who is responsible for what turns out to be subpar concrete but to punish them for the harm they have caused.

It's hard to read a book that is 35 in a series without having read any of the other books. I was able to get a good handle on all the characters in The Sisterhood and I enjoy them but it all just seemed so easy for them to do what they did in about a week's time. I get that a private jet makes it easier to get around but there weren't any problems at all. Not that I expect this type of book to be realistic, but this was too far fetched for me even though again, I liked the characters.

Thanks to NetGalley for the ARC.

I'm always hesitant reading a random book in a well-known or developed series, but I thought, here goes nothing! This one publishes on December 26th, so if you want to get a New Year's present for someone, this may be your choice!

We meet Zoe and Izzie, best friends, and they are struggling with some of Zoe's work issues. Zoe suspects illegal activity at the company she works for, and seeks the assistance or support from Izzie, but Izzie has other plans. She introduces Zoe to the "Sisterhood," a group of women who have come together through unfortunate circumstances and helped one another and solved the problems. Through the help of all the sisters and some other contacts they all know and trust, they are able to take down the two executives who are stealing and making buildings unsafe. Zoe finds love and gets married, and they all keep moving on to the next adventure.

It was an easy and short read. It reminded me of the The Hot Flash Club by Nancy Thayer, so that wasn't a new concept for me. It was difficult to not know all the characters and be met with them all at once. There were a lot of people to keep track of which was difficult for me. I'd say this one was a 4-star only because I felt a little left out of the hype and also felt there was some plot lacking. The plot that was in the book was too fast-paced for me. Overall good read though. I'd definitely try another Fern Michaels, and maybe even start the beginning of the series!

As I was reading Rock Bottom by Fern Michaels, the first book I've read in her Sisterhood series, all I could think was, "How is it that I have never heard of this series before?"
I loved everything about it! The concept of women working together as vigilantes seeking justice on behalf of women who have been victimized and scapegoated, the 'Kingsmen' and 'Ocean's 8' vibe, and the almost sorority-like closeness of the characters, all spoke to me.
Add to that the book is fast-paced and well-written, with characters travelling the globe and coming out of the woodwork to help out.
I found the entire book delightful, entertaining, and ultimately satisfying. I will definitely be going back and reading the previous 34 (!) books.
I feel very fortunate to have received an ARC of #RockBottom from #NetGalley.

Yet another book about the vigilantes and their form of “justice.” I was so excited to see another book about the sisterhood, but this one lacked the same excitement and fun that I have come to appreciate in this series. It fell a bit flat for me. Nonetheless, I enjoyed the story and will continue reading about the adventures of the sisters.

This book can be read alone but it would be best to at least read the first few of the series to fully understand how and why the sisterhood was formed.

When Izzy Flanders gets in touch with her college classmate Zoe Danfield for help with a new project she finds her stressed and distracted. Zoe is afraid for her safety after inquiring about inferior materials that are being used by her company. Enter the sisterhood and their investigation and plan to solve the situation.

Fast and easy read. The sisterhood is back and they are hatching a new plan. Interesting premise this time around.

The latest in the sisterhood series which I have not read but read this book without any problem, in fact I will be picking up the rest now to read. The Sisterhood is a community who helps and defends women wrongfully and hurt. The latest lady they help is brought in by Izzy and it is Zoe who has stumbled upon the dangerous and malicious act of mixing inappropriate concrete for a profit putting unsuspecting people in harms way. The ladies work together to lay out the plan and execute. It is a fun and well laid out book with the plan and a bit of suspense loaded in with the ladies making sure those responsible pay while the innocent are taking care of in terms of jobs.

Definitely worth the read and can be a fun weekend or summer read.

Thank you NetGalley, Kensington Books, Zebra and Fern Michaels

I love these Sisterhood books written by Fern Michaels and this one did not disappoint.
It’s always fun to go on the journey with them of finding the bad guys, coming up with a plan to deal with them, and then watching how it all unfolds. There are laughs, tears and “oh my gosh did they really do that?” moments. The last few books we’ve been introduced to a new person that is brought into The Sisterhood fold and this book brought in Zoe who has uncovered subpar building material being secretly used by her employer which has resulted in deaths. The Sisterhood to the rescue to help her right that wrong and get rid of the slimy guys she works with who are a part of it.
I highly recommend this and the whole Sisterhood series.

I hadn't read a Fern Michael's book in a long time and loved the idea of "the Sisterhood". I would totally join this group, IRL, if invited! I enjoyed the pace and subject matter and the concept of the book but the forced dialogue between the characters, particularly the women was a bit hard to handle. I like to think that women are more complex than the very "pleasant" women in this book. While this read left me wanting more, I'd probably try another Sisterhood book again!

Great continuation. How does Ms. Michaels come up with these scenarios for so many books? Wonderful use of concrete.

The Sisterhood: a group of women from all walks of life bound by friendship and years of adventure. Armed with vast resources, top-notch expertise, and a loyal network of allies around the globe, the Sisterhood will not rest until every wrong is made right

Isabelle “Izzy” Flanders and Yoko Akia are beginning a new project—an indoor/outdoor café that will be the cornerstone of a market village. Izzy knows just where to get the project off the ground: her old college classmate, Zoe Danfield, now vice president of a huge construction corporation. But the Zoe that Izzy reencounters doesn’t seem like her old, confident friend. This Zoe is tense and stressed, and Izzy eventually learns why.

The Sisterhood series has a huge following, and it's easy to see why. The tales of righting wrongs, and putting down bad guys are fun and fast=paced. Her fans will love this new entry. #RockBottom #NetGalley #SaltMarshAuthors

A Sisterhood with a vengeance that helps the helpless who has been deceived or wronged to get justice. It feels like James Bond 007 but without the brawl; it's a team of women with brains and some bankroll who goes all the way to help each other get the rightful justice the other deserves. This time, the victim is Zoe who has a flair for fashion but she's an engineer by profession. She detected some discrepancy with the building materials and started investigating which got her into some hot soup. With help from her best friend, Izzie and the Sisterhood, Zoe managed to find out the truth!

"My mother always warned me not to waste my time being unhappy when we have options. We can't make people make us happy. It's up to us. What do we want? What do we need? We are as important as anyone else."

This is my first-time reading Fern Michaels and I have been reminded of Diva Channel's drama TV series LOL! The way it was written definitely can be turned into TV or movie anytime! It was easily understood, and I could imagine the plots, the scheme of things and all the excitement that it brought along. Though this is book 35, it was well explained and informed that I didn't get lost or confused. So many things happened in a short time which made it the more engaging and exciting. It sure felt like Charlie's Angels but with a different spin.

When I picked this book I didn't realize it was part of a series, but it's not necessary to read all the books to join the fun. I really enjoyed this story about a group of women who orchestrate an investigation into a company's poor operating practices that endanger lives. They ultimately undo the mastermind of the business and it's quite the adventure. Not your average whistle-blower story.

I would like to thank NetGalley and Kensington Books, Zebra for allowing me to read this book and give my honest opinion. I love Fern Michaels but for some reason, I haven't read any of her books. I decided to try this one and now I can not wait to read this entire series. In the latest book in the Sisterhood series, we meet Zoe, Izzie's friend who is being set up by her company REBAR. The Sisters go into action and I loved every minute!

Starting a series book that is already into installment #30+, is a difficult task, but the author made me feel at home in this band of sisters series.

I enjoyed Rock Bottom! The "Sisterhood" was marvelous and actually made me want to be a part of it! I could totally see myself being good friends with each of the ladies. Their motto of "Whatever it takes" has made its way into my way of thinking and I thank them for it. I recommend this book as a good woman's get-away.

Okay installment. Not as good or detailed as some of her earlier works and left a lot of previous characters out of the story. Pace seemed very hurried and I feel like the struggle wasn’t as well done as some of the characters, But I’m always glad for a new sisterhood book and devoured it within 2days.

I won’t be able to review as I did not realize this is book 35 and you need to read the books in order. Though I have enjoyed a lot of her other books
