I really wanted to love this book, but I found it so similar to things I have already read. It lacked real substance and was mainly filled with anecdotes that you’ve most likely already heard before. As far as storytelling, there’s not a lot going on beyond mentioning various career moves. Overall, not a book I would recommend or revisit.

A good read for when you are feeling like nothing you do is good enough, as the book says "stop waiting for perfect". An uplifting self-help book with continuous reminders to love yourself, celebrate the small victories and give feelings of imposter syndrome the boot.

STOP WAITING FOR PERFECT is a quick and digestible read on how to stop waiting and start living. I appreciated the reminder that perfection isn’t actually real and the questions that follow the chapters to allow for reflection. A great book to pump you up and just go for it, whether it’s asking for a pay raise, moving to a different state, changing careers, etc. The author shares valuable tips and tools to help you feel comfortable betting on yourself.

Thank you to BenBella Books and NetGalley for the digital ARC.
