My favorite time of year! The Cozy Case Files are out and showing us some really good cozies. Most of these I have read before but a couple were new to me authors.

Look at all of these stellar authors!

Meri Allen, Donna Andrews, Olivia Blacke, Vivien Chien, Leonard Goldberg, Carolyn Haines, Olivia Matthews, Allison Montclair, Korina Moss, Mindy Quigley, and Katharine Schellman.

There really is something for everyone here. Love pizza? It’s in here! Ice Cream? Yes! Cheese, Cookies, and so much more. Including one we haven’t seen a lot of yet, a record shop cozy!

So settle in with a cuppa and a cookie, and get reading. You will definitely find something you will love.

This is a good way to try a nice assortment of cozy mysteries available from this publisher, from regular cozy mysteries to historical cozies. You get a generous four chapters for each title (and one even has the murder happen before that) in this free book to decide if this is something you’d like to check out when published, most of which are published May 23, 2023. Most of the previews given when you go to buy a book provide only a couple chapters. With this book, you’ve got nothing to lose, and the time spend reading is well spent.

This book was provided to me as an ARC from St. Martin Paperbacks via NetGalley, and my opinions are my own.

I read most of the series included in this book and it’s a great sneak peek into what’s coming. For the ones i haven’t read yet, it provided me a look into what I was missing and I’m going to be adding two more to my list of books to read.

Whether you’ve ready any of these authors before or are just curious, this is a great way to give them a try before buying them. I can personally attest that nine out of eleven of these authors are FANTASTIC as I read them…and adding two more that are new to me. Can’t wait for the full editions of each book to come out.

Being a great cozy fan, I am always so grateful for the opportunity to read these excerpts and preview great new titles. This helps me to plan my reading and even which titles I want to request from Netgalley.

Cozy Case Files Volume 18 has again compiled an excellent collection of eleven excerpts from different authors. Some authors were familiar to me and a few were new. New to me authors were Vivien Chien, Mindy Quigley, Korina Moss, and Donna Andrews. I thoroughly enjoyed their style of writing and will probably seek out the full versions of their novels to finish reading them.

Authors familiar to me included: Olivia Matthews, Meri Allen, Olivia Blacke, and Katharine Schellman. And I was fortunate enough to gain access to the full version of their latest novels. I have yet to read Fatal Fudge Swirl, and A Fatal Groove. But based on what I’ve read in the excerpts, I’m sure I won’t be disappointed.

Because the excerpts are substantial enough to get a flavor of the full novel, Cozy Case Files samplers are the absolute best way to experience different and familiar authors and their latest cozy mysteries. Five Stars.

I received a digital ARC from St. Martin’s Press through NetGalley. The review herein is completely my own and contains my honest thoughts and opinions.
