An exciting novel of the RAF in WW2. The book is the first in a series. The characters are well developed and you can find yourself immersed in the action. This one was hard to put down! I cannot wait to read more in the series.

Thank you to #NetGalley for the ARC in exchange for my honest opinion.

Holy shit, this book was amazing.

The story takes place during WWII with the main character, Angus, who is a pilot within the Mavericks. His Lieutenant told him he had to catch a spy within his section. The action in this was amazing, as was the romance. OMG the romance made me go on an emotional roller coaster. I was team Angelica from the start and I always will be. She's one of my favorite characters with her bubbly and mysterious personality. Gordon, however is most definitely my overall favorite character. He's so mysterious and wise. Angus, Willie, and Jonty are such an amazing trio and they were so much fun to read about. Willie hates Jonty's ballads, but I personally love them. Tomas is also an amazing character, I admire his passion and dedication. Overall this was one of the best novels I've read about WWII. 5/5 stars. Will definitely be reading again.
