I have to admit, I was sort of fully on board when I read the author's note about how she was snowed in for a week with her husband back in 2013. Once I was feeling all warm and fuzzy from that, I settled in for this delightful grumpy-sunshine romance.

Becca was quite the quirky heroine, and who love quirky characters? ->This girl!<- It wasn't just about cute quirks though, but rather that she acknowledged and embraced her quirks. You know that they say, let your freak flag fly, and I loved that Becca was unapologetically herself. She was well loved by her "girls", and that affection was well earned. Becca had a heart of gold and had kindness to spare.

I had a bit of a beef with Harrison for ghosting Becca two years ago, but he was able to win me over. Most might think of him as grumpy, but he had reasons. His ex-wife, his parents, and his brother were all sources of pain and aggravation for him. His ex was a reminder of how his marriage failed, while his brother never fails to needled Harrison about his losing record. I was happy that he was able to work through some of this over the course of the story, and I was especially excited when he finally let his inner leader shine with his team.

But, some of the best parts of this story were when Harrison and Becca was just trying to survive horrific weather conditions. The weather was definitely frightful, but at least they had each other to keep warm. Nothing like some good old-fashioned forced proximity to get the sparks flying, and it was wonderful watching these two open up and grow closer to each other.

I did say that Harrison's family was a sore spot for him, but he had an older sister who was magnificent. I had the best time celebrating Christmas with her and her brood. The kids were too cute, and it made me happy to know Harrison had someone in his corner.

Overall, I was happy to be snowed in with Becca and Harrison. I am always happy to see love get a second chance, and it's even better when the two people are so perfect for each other. I laughed a whole lot, and that stupendous epilogue left me hopped up on sunshine and rainbows.

This read for me, was a disconnection from everything else I read. It was fun, silly, and that young romance touch we miss from time to time.
So this is a read for that pure winter snowy crisp loving coldness weather, where we all bundle up type of feel. You have that cute sports aged romance here between a football guy and a soccer mom. Like all stories, this one starts off weird, silly and awkward. But it definitely builds and gives you all types of memorable feels. Enjoy.
I just reviewed Snowed In for Christmas by Jaqueline Snowe. #NetGalley

I adored this book!!! Even though it's still summer, it had me really excited for Christmas and the snow 😭 I loved Harrison and Becca's story. From their first date, to their blizzard pact, I enjoyed every second of it. Despite the fact that their story was within the span of a couple weeks, their love did not feel like instant love. Their love felt real and genuine and I really enjoyed it.

I would recommend this book to anybody looking for a cute, heartfelt, Christmassy romance novel. It was AMAZING!

I liked “The Grump”. Miss Sunshine might as well have been “Miss Airhead” or “Miss Ditzy”. I found it hard to believe this woman was in charge of a house full of university women when she was such a ditz, and not in a charming way. But then, the situations did not seem authentic nor ring true.

Thanks to Netgalley for access to this E-ARC! OMG! I loved this so much! The romance was so cute and the setting was perfect! Definitiely will read more from this author.

Grumpy sunshine and forced proximity?? Say no more. I have a weakness for Christmas romances and this one was a great Krispy Kreme read. Thanks to netgalley for the eARC in exchange for my honest review!

Snowed In for Christmas was a perfect little holiday read (or if you just want a Christmas-y read even if it's nowhere near Christmas time like me). I loved the setting of the book, and their interactions were so cute to read about, but I after learning Harrison never called Becca back after their first date (for really no reason other than him being an asshole) I couldn't fully get behind their relationship. Overall, a good holiday read even if I didn't particularly care for the MMC! If you like grumpy/sunshine, one bed trope, second chance romance you will enjoy this!

I try not to DNF but I just couldn't get into this one. The chapters alternate POVs and the male lead character, Harrison, just did not ring true at all for me. It was also very predictable where things were going.

Thank you to the publishers and NetGalley for the opportunity to review a temporary digital ARC in exchange for an unbiased review.

Wow! This book had everything you’d want in a Rom-Com.
The main characters in the story, Becca and Harrison, are perfect in every way.

Becca is the house mom in a sorority house. She has fifty girls to help in every way possible, and they all love her. It’s right before the Christmas break and all the girls are packing to go home to their families. The craziness starts when one of the girls breaks the window in her room, trying to open it. Trying to get a tarp over it, is a job In itself, however, they got it done. When Becca starts to clean up the broken glass, she gets a piece in her arm, sees the blood dripping down her arm, and passes out. One of the girls comes in to help her and sees Becca passed out. She runs to the neighbors house, Coach Harrison Cooper, to get help. He sees that it’s not a cut that would stitches, just a bandage. Becca and Harrison went on a terrific date two years before, and they had a great time. He promised to call her and then ghosted her. She went thru a rough time afterwards, questioning herself, which did a number on her self confidence.

Harrison is the college football coach. Has issues with his family, his wife is now his ex, and is worried that he will be fired, since the team has a losing streak. After his date with Becca, he felt terrible that he never called her back.

As the storm of the century approaches Becca is confident she will fine with a few logs for the fireplace. Except when she wakes up freezing, wondering it the tarp on the window blew off. As she walks in the room and sees that the tarp held up, she can’t understand why it’s so cold. Realizing that there is no power, is a bit of a problem. Suddenly there’s banging on her front door. Harrison says that they probably won’t have any power for days. Convinces Becca to pack some clothes and go his place since he has enough wood to last a couple of weeks. At first she was hesitant, seeing that he was a jerk to her, but hey, she doesn’t want to freeze to death. This is when things get really funny and hot!

I would give this book way more than five stars! I read it twice, I enjoyed it so much.

Snowed in for Christmas is a holiday romance about a young, sunshine, sorority mom and her grumpy football coach neighbor. A few years ago they went on a date and he ghosted her. Imagine her surprise when the snowpocalypse hits and the duo have to pair up to make it through the blizzard when she loses power at the sorority house. They decide that they will be blizzard buddies and camp out at his house since it's more equipped for their circumstances. The dialogue between the two is fresh and fun, which makes the book a fast read with it's pacing. They have plenty to talk about to figure out if they can overcome their past to make room for a future together. It's magical to read about them falling in love from their point of view, even with a few roadblocks they have to overcome to be together. All in all you could snuggle up and read this book in one sitting, it's that good! Thank you to the author, publisher, and NetGalley for allowing me to preview this book.

4.7/5⭐️ I love Becca!!! She’s so sweet and cheery. I loved their chemistry and how we could see that the other person brought out something new in the other. they both learned so much from each other (especially Harrison). Becca was a little like too much unicorn vomit for her to be real but it’s fiction!

A grumpy sunshine Christmas romance?? Yes please! This was such a joy to read, I may even reread it during the holidays. Snowe is a new to me author and now I’m excited to check out her backlist.

This was the cutest read in preparation for the upcoming season! It’s been a horrible 100+ heat index around here so this was a fun read to help cool down.

Becca was so quirky and Harrison was a grump, but he wasn’t like a mean grump. He was just going through stuff and I loved her interactions with her helping him process and learn how to let go.

This was a sorta 2nd chance romance with some fun tropes like forced proximity and grumpyxsinshine. The spice was good, but the rest of the story was so sweet that it practically smacks you in the face and seemed abrupt. Maybe if their had been more tension built up it wouldn’t have seen that way.

But it was cute and I would definitely recommend! So thankful that Netgalley gave the opportunity to red and review 🥰

Thank you Netgalley for allowing me to read this book for my honest review! This was such a cute story! It was very fast paced which I enjoyed. Becca the sorority mom and Harrison the college football coach got their second chance after becoming “blizzard buddies”. Harrison redeemed himself after previously ghosting Becca after their first date. Becca was such a fun, quirky character, complete opposite of Harrison. She really made him see life differently after being labeled as a “grump”. This was a great fast paced, romance story!

What a super cute holiday rom-com!! Becca, a bubbly sorority house mother, and Harrison, grumpy college football coach, end up snowed in together during a blizzard over the holidays. Having gone on a date 2 years prior and being ghosted, Becca wasn’t sure what to expect when swoops in and invites her to his house to weather the blizzard together but what she finds surprises her. He may not be the mean, grumpy coach she had thought he was afterall. This was a little winter escape that I will be recommending to family and friends. Thank you to NetGalley and Forever publishing for an arc copy!! 4 ⭐️

Did not finish book. Stopped at 20%.
The plot was decent and the set up was very good, but the story didn’t draw me in.

The cover immediately drew me in, especially for this Christmas loving girlie 🫶🏻 This book had a lot of potential and I really liked the idea of being snowed in together during the holidays. Ultimately though the storyline just fell flat for me and I had a hard time staying engaged. Unfortunately I didn’t feel a connection to the main characters. Becca and Harrison’s miscommunication along with the lack of communication was not my favorite and it just felt immature on both character’s parts considering their ages. I usually enjoy second chance romance but with this one being built on the fact that the MMC ghosted the FMC after their first date and how he made every effort to avoid her for the next two years (they were next door neighbors 😳) rubbed me the wrong way. Overall it just wasn’t my cup of tea.

This was a sweet romance and I loved the set-up. I did find the dialogue a little cheesy and Becca immature for her age. This had fun parts but overall this was just okay.
