So cute and sooo hot! I was a little hesitant with the often-used fake fiancé, single room tropes, but this was so great! Jace, grumpy CEO needs Penny, super sweet 1st grace teacher to pretend to be his fiancé for a weeklong family reunion. This was so funny at points, and Penny was a wonderful main character.

Excellent narration!

I just reviewed For nEver by Aurora Rose Reynolds. #FornEver #NetGalley I really wanted to love this more. I did love the story but there were some things that seemed very rushed and awkward. I enjoyed their chemistry and the spice. I also loved the family interactions and her clumsiness. I do wish there was a real transition shown on his side from fake fiancée to real love. Overall, it was an enjoyable, quick, worth the read story.

I really enjoyed this. It might not have been as addicting as this authors most famous series but I really enjoyed the dynamic between Penny and Jace.

A nice easy to listen to story. Enjoyed the audio version the narrator took a while for me to warm to. I had a few chuckles while listening to the story. Penny was a bit of a disaster at times but she was really likeable. Jace took a while for me to warm to. Wasn't a fan of his nicknames for Penny they got a bit cringe as the story went on. I liked the interactions between them. Jace mellowed out the more time they spent together. Listened to this in a day it was an enjoyable quick story.

Solid 4 stars! My first book by ARR so I wasn’t sure what to expect but this was absolutely adorable!
I usually don’t enjoy slow builds but this one was good. Penny is looking for a summer job while she is on break from working as a Teacher so she can take her mother on a trip. While her friend goes on Maternity leave, Penny takes over for her at a gaming company that Jace was the CEO of. Typical jerk boss, who is of course isn’t bad to look at.

I don’t wanna give too much away because this is on the shorter side making this a short & sweet (w some spice 🌶️) read that will make you want to read more from Aurora Rose Reynolds!

This was cute spicy and a little swoony. It has fake dating and grumpy and a sunshine. Penny needs a side job for extra cash and on her first day meeting the boss it doesn't go well. So when the boss calls on a Saturday to demand she meet him in an hour at a private airport she is not only annoyed but utterly confused. Only once they're in the air does she find out why he wants her there and is it an offer she can't refuse. The cover is nice and I loved the Narrators voice they did a great job.

Oh. My. Goodness. YES!!! One of my top five favorite tropes is fake dating, fake fiance, fake marriage etc., and For nEver was an amazing fake Fiance listen. I did find For nEver available on KU and followed along with the narrator, who did a fantastic job! The special touches throughout the narration were amazing.

Penny is a school teacher who takes a temp job as Jace's Secretary over the summer. Suddenly she is next to him on his private plane for something "work-related" and quickly realizes he is proposing to her to be his fake fiance for his family reunion at the lake.

Talk about a massive family gathering, money, lake vibes, jet skies, and a grandma who pops up at the most inconvenient times! When I say I laughed out loud, I was literally laughing out loud.

I'm usually not into big family reunions and family drama, but this family makes me wish my husband, and I were related. Lol

Tropes in this book are enemies to lovers and forced proximity. Penny and Jace had no idea what was coming their way until they let loose to see where things would took them. The entire book and storyline kept my attention.

The last chapter felt cut off when they went to picked up Penny’s mom at the airport and then nothing else happened. It ended. Then the epilogue begins and wraps up the story. I felt like there could have been more written as a transition between the last chapter and the jump in time to the epilogue. Other than that I enjoyed this book!

I finished this one quite quickly actually but I loved it very much. It was more leaning towards novella for me than full novel. Their story was entertaining and funny,

Workplace romance
Fake engagement to her boss

Say less! Loved it.
I do really wish we had a dual pov for this it would have been nice to hear Jace's side and get to know him better.

The Audio was done well but again would have loved dual.

Penny is doing her friend a favor and being the assistant to Jace and well first meetings it's chilly lol. We get some off page moments of her working for him and then our story starts with Jace calling Penny to meet him at the airport thinking it's work related it's not when he tells her the reason.

Be his fake fiance for a week with his family and he'll pay her. Penny does think it over but the money would help with bills so she says yes. I'll be honest it took me awhile to like Jace he didn't feel like a ARR hero he spent alot of time working even on this vacation didn't really spend time with his family. And when he got into a fight with his twin brother we didn't even get to see his pov on them going to a bar or any of Jace Pov. Which was sad. I thought maybe the drama would be the grandma but she was just a grump.
Also Penny was always injured or something bad happened to her..

Why have I waited so long to read an Aurora Rose Reynolds book?! I have been looking at a lot of her titles for a long time, and this is the first one I picked up. What a fantastic introduction! I’m in love with a new author find!! This book is brilliantly written, perfectly paced, and it had explosive chemistry. All of the side characters were just right. The setting was fantastic. I loved every moment, and sped through it in no time at all. The audio was exactly what I needed.

I totally loved the fake fiancé storyline - this is my favourite trope, afterall - and having the grumpy boss spring the situation on the fill-in assistant at the last second, to head to a week-long family reunion? Chef’s kiss! Everything about the plot, the slow burn build up, the setting, his grandmother, his whole family, and the way that Penny and Jace interacted the whole way through couldn’t have been better. I’ve now filled up my Audible library (thank you, massive sale!), with her books! I’m so looking forward to reading more.

The audio was narrated by Pippa Jayne, who has done a lot of my listens recently. I’m a huge fan of hers! It was an even better read with her voicing it.

I completely recommend this book to everyone who loves romance, especially fake engagement stories. It’s brilliant! I just wish it was longer. Go get the audio!

I received an advance review copy from NetGalley and Dreamscape Media, and this is my honest feedback.

Thank you @DreamscapeMedia for this ARC. Wow, the chemistry in this book was on point. I enjoyed listening to this book. The story is about fake dating and instant attraction. Wan to read more by this author.

This is my fav ARC this month! Spicy, and entertaining. I liked the characters. It would've been easily a 5 star if it had dual POV. I felt that it would have benefitted from the MMC's POV. It felt like a bit of a stretch the way the relationship progressed without understanding where he was coming from. That said it was still an enjoyable read.

As a fake engagement, billionaire trope, For nEver ticks all the right boxes.

There was nothing particularly standout about this book. Equally though, there was nothing to dislike.

For me this was a sweet, sometimes funny summer read and with Jace's Grandma in the mix to keep everything real, there was some awkwardness too!

A nice addition to the catalogue of Aurora Rose Reynolds.

School teacher, Penny takes a temp job for the summer. She is doing her friend who is on maternity leave a favor besides she needs the extra money to help pay her mother’s medical bills and plans to take her mother on a trip to France. Her new boss, Jace comes across as cold and rude. She has only worked for him a few days when she gets an early morning phone call telling her to meet him at the airport. He offers her $50,000 to pretend to be his fiancé for a week. The money is enticing. He gives her a gaudy engagement ring to wear and off they fly to meet his family. When they arrive, he introduces her as his fiancé. His mother and father are thrilled. His grandmother is grumpy. Jace and his sister-in-law had a relationship before she became his sister-in-law which makes Jace feel uncomfortable. Jace and Penny are assigned the same bedroom. Jace volunteers to sleep on the floor but his grandmother walks in and insists they are off to a bad start in their relationship. Penny finds herself attracted to Jace and wishes the engagement was real.
I love this tale. Penny is sweet and yet knows how to stand up for herself. Jace comes across as used to having his own way about everything. It was fun watching their relationship develop into love. Jace loves and cares deeply for his family. The family reunion was fun; there were activities planned for every day. I want to go to that kind of family reunion. The relationship between his brother, sister-in-law and Jace had to be uncomfortable. This tale has several humorous scenes. Penny seems to be accident prone. This is a nice beach read.

A fun and lighthearted read about Jace and Penny who enter into a fake relationship while they attend a family reunion. There were some really adorable moments, but the majority of the book, I just wasn't into their romance. The chemistry fell flat, I didn't love Jace's character at all; seemed to be just a workaholic to me and that was his story line. I also struggled with the narrator for this book; her inflections did not align with the storyline at all; I found it very annoying and I'm sure affected my ability to connect to the story as well.

Some books are even too cheesy for me. I think the shock at the one bed when you’re going home as his fake fiancé started the downward spiral on this book. Penny is always hurt too which just got old. The narrator did her best.

Overall, this was a fun and enjoyable listen.

I liked the premise of the story and thought the family dynamic and activities made the book pretty fun and engaging.

Penny and Jace’s relationship was cute, and I appreciated that it was mostly smooth sailing for them. No massive, senseless, drawn out conflicts.

However, I do wish that they had a little more time to get to know each other before going on the family trip. Or alternatively, that they spend more time talking to one another on the trip. I think it could have allowed for the development of a little more tension and perhaps made the jealously and feelings seem slightly less premature. A chapter or two from Jace’s perspective could have gone a long way as well.

All in all, it was entertaining and enjoyable, but unfortunately, nothing to write home about.

This is a cute and quick listen that hits quite a few different tropes. The cover screams "could kill you" but the story is pure spicy cinnamon roll.

Penny is a teacher spending her summer working at a tech company to save money for a dream trip. Or so she thinks until her new boss, Jace sweeps her away for a week with his family as his fake fiance.

The narrator did a wonderful job voicing the different characters and expressed plenty of emotion. She made the story come to life.

Tropes: fake dating, one bed, praise/good girl, "mine", he falls first, billionaire

Thank you to Dreamscape media and Netgalley for the opportunity to review an ARC of this audiobook. All opinions are mine.
