Im not sure if this is a 4 star or 4 1/2 star read, but this was a great book. Very easy and I say that in a good way it was a fun easy read that took me into the world Aurora Rose Reynolds created and I just enjoyed myself the entire time. Like all Aurora Rose Reynolds books I have read the hero is a mans man strong smart possessive and he knows what he wants right away and sets out to get Penny.

Penny is on summer break for her teaching job and agrees to fill in for a friend at her job while on maternity leave. Her boss Jace isn't what she thought he would be but maybe the fact that someone already quit in a few days should have told her all she needed to know. But Penny wants some extra cash to take her mom who is finally in remission on her dream vacation so she can deal with Jace. He expects a lot and he also expects her to know her job perfectly so when she gets a call from him bright and early one Saturday morning Penny shouldn't have answered.

Jace needs a fake fiancé, he loves his family but he can't take their meddling and with his first plan falling through Penny will due. How hard can it be to pretend to be Jaces Fiancé it will get her to not only take her mom on the vacation but help with her moms medical bills and her student loans. Except it isn't that easy because Jaces family is wonderful and its hard to not fall ion love with them which is bad enough but Penny may just be falling for Jace as well.

This was such a fun read, I flew through it and enjoyed every minute of it. Penny is smart and sweet and Jace is an amazing hero. I loved his family, they all just added something extra to the book. I just really enjoyed this book it's the perfectsumler fun read.

I could not stop reading and listening to this book. So funny and Swoony.

I loved the characters and the MASSIVE family but happily wasn’t overwhelmed with characters/names. It was a fast paced story and I read it in one day. Loved!

The audio is a fantastic narrator and she was so funny. There’s a scene where she gets hit on the nose and the narrator talked with a stuffy nose sound. It was so epic and perfect.

This was my first book by this author and I loved it!

Penny takes a temp job with Jace for some extra dollars and never anticipates falling for her boss!

As much as I loved this couple together Jace's family really helped bring this whole story together. From the grumpy granny to his duck loving mom they all were so great. Each relationship he has with his family helped Penny learn who he really is and made them better together.

I was provided and audio copy of this book and Pippa Jayne did an excellent job with the narration!

This book started really well and had some funny moments, and some steam and a story that was good and overall well written.
Where it dropped from the five it started with to a 3 was that Jase and their relationship lacked depth. There wasn't really banter that endeared me to Jase or let me get to know him. He was a grump who then was wildly attracted to her, then madly in love with her. Their relationship likewise went from strangers to a fake relationship to sex and marriage within a week. Even the time I could be okay with if there was more development of Jase as a character and of their relationship. I would still recommend it as a quick read.

I do love a good fake dating one bed trope! Love how clumsy the main character is and how brooding yet protective her fake fiance is

For Ever by Aurora Rose Reynolds published June 2023. A pretty predictable romance. Penny subs for jace as an assistant. When he asked her to pretend to be his fiancé for his family reunion. But maybe it won’t be all pretend

This book is perfect for anybody who wants a short, smutty book to get them through till their next book. I will say it took a while for this book to really get into it and the spicy scenes didn’t come until maybe like 60% of the way through. Some of the dialect was also a little cringe. He but nothing that I couldn’t get past. I really was not the biggest fan of him calling her cupcake and princess, seeing as they were both adults. Overall it was enjoyable, and the narrator was good, so I would definitely read more from this author.

I was pleasantly surprised with the story and the unexpected (but absolutely loved!) Spiciness!! I enjoyed the pacing of the storyline and the humor throughout. This was definitely a feel good book that I would totally read again. I received and Audio version for free via Netgalley and Dreamscape Media in exchange for an honest review.

Let's spill the tea on this audiobook, shall we? Penny reluctantly agrees to be Jace's fake fiancée in exchange for some serious moolah. At first, their relationship is as frosty as the Arctic, but over time, sparks start to ignite between them. However, I have to admit, Jace's character left me wanting more, Penny's interactions were more within the family than their relationship. The audiobook narrated by Pippa Jayne was a solid listen. The pacing was on point, making the overall experience enjoyable. So, if you're a die-hard fan of the author, give it a shot, the audiobook narration is worth it.

I have read a LOT of Aurora Rose Reynolds books and this one is my favorite!

LOVED IT!!!! ❤️

Thought it was cute how Jace was the one that needed a fake date, so Penny (his temporary assistant) gets a random call on a Saturday morning (@5:00 AM!! 😴) that he needs her to meet him at the airport......🛩🧳

Little does she know, she is signing on to be his fake fiancé for the week for a family reunion (of more than 100 people) 🫣😂😂😂

I fell for Jace when he helped her though her anxiety ❤️🫠😍🥰

I loved all the characters and would love to have another story set in this family's world soon 💕

🎧 Narration by Pippa Jayne was excellent 🫶

I was in the mood for this type of alpha boss fake dating romance but this book missed the mark for me. My biggest criticism is that Penny and Jace don’t spend any time together, other than naked. Which is fine, it’s just not a romance. I think Reynolds had a perfect opportunity to have the two interacting during the fun family activities, but she had Jace working the entire week and Penny on her own. This means there isn’t any banter, tension, build up, sweetness, anything really. I listened to this on audiobook and the narrator was great and easy to listen to. Thank you to the publisher and NetGalley for the opportunity to provide my honest review.

Review✍🏻

This was an easy, fun read! A teacher takes a temp position during the summer, not expecting her moody boss to become her "fiancé" shortly after meeting. I’m a sucker for the fake engagement trope. I am here for it! They go to his family reunion for a week and basically fake it until they make it. He’s a grumpy workaholic, and she’s a ray of sunshine. Count me in every single time. 😂I also loved that the FMC fell in love with the MMC’s family too. All of the family members were so sweet to her, and I think it made her like the MMC more. Anyways, cute read!

Jace and Penny
Penny is a school teacher and she looking for a summer job because she want to travel with her mother who is in remission and want to give her a trip but she need a little bit more. she is filling in for her best friend that goes on maternity leave for the summer. What she gets is a sexy nerdy tatted up grumpy billionaire boss.
She at home Jace call her to be ready and pack because they're visiting his family. That when he offer her fake fiance, he will pay her to play along. That when we discover why Jace is grumpy and close off because the woman he was going to propose is married to Jace twin brother Brice and have kids together.
There are some hilarious moments and very hot scene.
The only things I wanted Jace pov I want to listen to the fight he had with his brother Brice, their conversation.
The only that it was said that Brice was in love always been in love with Haylee. Hopefully Brice would have a book.
This is the first time I read a book from this author I like the book

3.5 rounded up

Favorite quote: “I’ve seen the fish in the sea, and they’re all contaminated by whatever toxins are floating around in the water with them. It’s probably all the plastic waste out there.”

When Penny’s best friend goes out on maternity leave, she steps up and is temporarily fills in for her at work. Her new boss is unpleasant, to say the least. Saturday, she winds up his private plane, with an engagement ring on her finger, prepared to play fake finance for a week. The money he offers her will significantly help her and her mom. How will the fake engagement pan out at his family’s reunion?

This was a cute book with some of my favorite tropes: one bed, fake finance, boss/employee; and I washer for it. I had a hard time with Jace’s personality change. He seemed to be a completely different person at the beginning with little explanation how or why he changed. It did feel pretty insta-lovey, which is not my favorite, but overall I had a good time and flew through it.

Wow! I was surprised at how much I enjoyed this book. I thought it was going to be a quick steamy romance, which it was trust me, but it was just as sweet as it was spicy!

Penny tries to help out her fired who is a new mom by filling in for her at work. But she quickly finds out that working for Jace Ellis is not what she thought it was going to be. One Saturday she gets a call to pack a bag and meet her boss at the airport. When she does, she find out that she will be posing as her boss's fiancé for a family reunion. This read was fun, flirty and as I said just as steamy as it was sweet. I was genuinely squealing and rooting for the couple. They had so many interactions that were flirty and make you want them to just break the tension.

I will say the ending of this book felt a little rushed. The book is short and I think it could have expanded on the reality of leaving the family reunion. Obviously you don't want them to have too many troubles but it felt like smooth sailing when realistically they barely know each other there should be some form of miscommunication that lasts at least for a little bit. That being said I will be reading more from this author because I really enjoyed this story.

Overall, I recommend this book to anyone looking for a twist on workplace romance who loves fake dating in a lake house setting. Thank you NetGAlley for the opportunity to read this story!

Title: FOR nEVER
Written by: Aurora Rose Reynolds
Narrated By: Pippa Jayne

I received an ARC (advanced reader copy) of this audiobook through Netgalley.

The storyline reads a lot like any other fake fiancee story (think The Proposal with Sandra Bullock and Ryan Reynolds) but XXX rated…..

And while there are similarities… they are very different. So here’s what to actually expect:

The guy, Jace, is a sexy billionaire with his own successful business.

The girl, Penny, is a sexy teacher that is filling is as a secretary for her best friend who is out on maternity leave.

Then he asks her to be his fake fiancee during his family’s annual reunion. She agrees because of the money, blah blah blah.

It’s a romance - so, if that’s what you hope for - this has that.

But, if you are looking for erotica that won’t make you cringe - skip this one.

I’m all fine with good erotica that comes with an awesome storyline, sexy scenes, smoldering, intense, and intimate.

What I absolutely cannot stand is when authors take the good parts and use crass words for body parts.

If the author can keep themselves from cussing and cursing up a storm the rest of the novel… then there’s no reason to leave those good manners behind when bedroom scenes are written.

Some normal cursing is all fine and good. But, making things uncouth is not my cup of tea.

If those words were changed - I would have given this 4 stars. Seriously, they grated on my nerves.

Overall: Story - great. Characters - great. Sexy times - okay. Dirty language: awful.

This was exactly what I needed. I've had a few rough days and was looking for some escapism. This did not disappoint! Penny and Jace had great chemistry. I loved Jace's family. <spoiler> I know a lot of people are hung up on that his ex-fiance married his twin brother. Weird, but it happens. And some people mentioned that Jace must still be in love with SIL since he needed a buffer. That did not cross my mind while reading- my brain went to he was avoiding his family due to his twin. It totally makes sense in my head that he realized he never loved SIL and got over her. But the fact that his twin dated his ex would make Jace angry with him. </spoiler>

It had some standard tropes, but it was not done in an overdone way. At least it felt that way to me.

I will say- I do wish we had Jace's POV. But I prefer dual POVs when I read contemporary romance.

Pippa Jayne narrates the audiobook. She is a very dependable narrator and this was no different.

I received an audio copy in exchange for an honest review.

For nEver by Aurora Rose Reynolds is an incredible workplace to fake dating to actual feelings romance that’s easy to get swept up in.

The hero’s family, the family reunion & all the summer camp-esque activities were a joy to witness. This was like reading sunshine with the best family, adorable love, spice & just a pinch of drama to be interesting & entertaining.

I typically prefer slow burn romance, but I always enjoy reading Aurora Rose Reynolds book that usually include falling hard & falling fast. The author does it in a way that feels authentic & is a joy to read.

Aurora Rose Reynolds undoubtedly knows how to write a heartwarming romance with the best example of family you could ask for. Reading their books always gives me the gooiest of warm feelings from my heart melting at the incredible family moments & the overall love in their books.

If you’re looking to get lost in a whirlwind of a romance, then this is a great recommendation for you!

Massive thanks to NetGalley, Dreamscape Media & Wildfire Marketing Solutions for the free arc, which I voluntarily read & reviewed.

Oh my gosh I love this book so much. Such a great book and of course it's the whole pretend to be together and end up together in the end. It was a great story and I loved every minute of this book. Also when there is spice it's so spicy. I absolutely loved it and the mix of spice in such a great romance is amazing.
