Such a cute cook book to explore new recipes and to try with my family. Plans to try a new recipe at least once a week.

Thosbis the forst time I've reviewed a cookbook.

I wouldn't call myself a foodie, but I am definitely a Disney nut. And I loved all of the fun recipes that were in this one.

I had more fun making these with my boyfriend and the experience that this book was able to provide. I feel liek somw of the recipes weren't exactly park ones. But they had the vibe a park dish would have. And we're still so gun to trybto make.

Do it for the experience alone.

This is a fun cookbook to recreate your Disney Park favorite foods at home. Some of the recipes were a bit too involved, but I know that is just to get the best results. Overall it is a good cookbook!

What this book has, is good. I just wish it had a bit more. The photos are beautiful but only about half of the recipes have a photo. Normally, that wouldn't be so bad, but so many of these dishes are ones that I'm not familiar with. I would have liked more photos.

This is a Disney RESTAURANT book. So I hadn't heard of many of the dishes. Especially since I haven't visited several of the restaurants. I think the book that was focused more on the snacks and cart food would probably suit me better. But that doesn't take away from what this book is. It's clearly the restaurant book.

The recipes seem easy enough to follow. I haven't made any yet, but did read many of them. It isn't a cookbook written by a chef, but I think that there's enough detail that most people should be able to follow the directions pretty easily. I do think I will try at least a few of these.

Now that I have a toddler, a cookbook saves me so much time from having to come up with recipes or worrying if I have enough time to make what I want. I loved this cookbook.

Fun recipes to try at home. This book brought back some happy memories of trips to Disney World with the family.

For those of that are Disney World fans we like to bring a touch of Disney home with us. What better way that to replicate some of the meals that we enjoy at Disney. Whether it is something simple like Mickey shaped pancakes or the grapefruit cake from The Hollywood Brown Derby your family will love the memories of their favorite trip and restaurants. The Flame Tree ribs are one of our family favorites and I can't wait to try them. The only thing missing is a Dole Whip. In the back there are park maps with the location of each of the restaurants. Scattered throughout are some park hints as well.

I’m a Disney fanatic. I grew up an hour away from Disney World and even worked there as an adult. So I definitely know my stuff and this is a good cookbook. Lots of fun recipes to take you back to the parks at least in your head.

I’m lucky enough to be from Florida so I have visited Disney before, however we always ate at the cheapest places because…well Disney costs a fortune. So this book is perfect for those who’ve never been and want to try some Disney food they may have heard about like the famous Monte Cristo sandwich.

This book is formatted well, easy to use with no real crazy or difficult to find ingredients. My only complaint is I wish it included a picture if every recipe.

Thanks to the author and publisher for the e-arc I received from NetGalley.

A really fun book for the Disney fan in your life. I liked the mix of recipes from the different parks and also for the different skill levels. My one complaint is that I would prefer even more pictures of the food since I dont entirely know what some of them are supposed to look like.

Ashley Craft’s The Unofficial Disney Parks Restaurants Cookbook is a wonderful cookbook that will bring the magic of the American Disney parks straight into your kitchen!

This well-organised recipe collection is divided into chapters on Breakfast, Lunch, Appetizers and Snacks, Main Dishes, Desserts, and Drinks. The book also features a very helpful section on The Disney Parks Restaurants Experience which gives readers some fascinating facts about several of the most popular Disney restaurants like Tiffins Restaurant and Be Our Guest Restaurant. There is also a chapter on The Disney Parks Cook’s Essentials which lists the tools like piping bags and syrups that you’ll need to whip up your own fanciful feasts!

I am a huge Disney fanatic and I cannot wait to start whipping up these goodies! I love that the book features a range of both easy and more complicated dishes. There are approachable Breakfast dishes like Mickey-Shaped Pancakes but I will need a more experienced cook to help me with Melba Crepes (fruit filled homemade crepes!). Simple Lunch dishes include the bright The Sun Bonnet Trio Strawberry Salad while there are more time and labour-intensive meals like Lobster Bisque with homemade lobster stock!

Fun appetizers include the intricate Five-Blossom Bread and the crowd-pleasing Fried Mozzarella. You can also enjoy Jambalaya or try hybrid Curry-Spiced Pizza with from scratch pizza dough! Everyone’s favourite Desserts section features the decadent Ooey Gooey Toffee Cake and the super cool The Sword in the Sweet (a pudding with a cookie sword in it!). Funky drinks include The Happy Haunts Milkshake (topped with a chocolate glazed donut!) and the fan favourite Rum Blossoms (a bright fruity alcoholic drink with boba balls that can also be made non-alcoholic!).

The recipes are clearly detailed and easy-to-follow. Craft’s writing is concise and friendly. She begins the recipes with a brief write-up which can include fun facts about the dish’s history, the restaurant location, tasting notes or serving tips. Many of the ingredients are fairly accessible and moderately inexpensive. Craft also often offers several ingredient swaps. There are several specialty items like flavoured boba pearls and buckwheat flour. But, they are still moderately inexpensive and not too difficult to find.

Also, several recipes do require the use of specialty equipment like a bacon press and aluminum cream maker but, thankfully, Craft offers utensil swaps for those of us who do not want to purchase these things. While many of the recipes encourage creating items from scratch, I also appreciate the use of convenience items like cake mix, Hawaiian rolls, and pot sticker wrappers. There are also great tips for making drinks non-alcoholic and I also appreciate that there are quite a few vegetarian recipes.

The book’s layout is simple, clean, and elegant. I do wish it was more exciting to suit the magic of Disney. I also like that many of the recipes have simply staged but lovely full-colour and full-page pictures.

In this excellent book, we are taken on a delicious journey through a number of Disney’s restaurants. All readers are in for a treat whether or not they’ve ever made it to a Disney park, or if they’re hoping for their favorite Disney park dish to appear. It’s been a long time since I’ve been to any of the Disney parks, but I look forward to reading these books because they bring some of that Disney magic to the table. Literally.

This book brings a little information about various locations in the parks and their inspiration. There’s also a section covering some cooking essentials and their substitutes. I don’t know about you, but I won’t be getting a bacon press, but the spatula they suggest is an excellent substitute! Of course, we can’t forget the food and drinks. The recipes are divided by type: breakfast, lunch, appetizers and snacks, main dishes, desserts, and drinks. You can also find which Disney park and restaurant each recipe hails from before you get to the recipe.

Like in Ashley’s previous books, the recipes are simple and easy to follow. The pictures that accompany many of the recipes also look absolutely delicious. I’m excited to make some of these recipes soon as I’m bored of what I’ve been eating and am excited to switch things up again.

If you love Disney and you love to cook, this is the perfect cookbook for you. It includes a map of where the restaurants are located at the parks. Thank you NetGalley for the ARC. I am leaving this review voluntarily and this is my own opinion. #netgalley, #theunofficialdisneyparksrestaurantscookbook, #ashleycroft, #disney, #food
