I am so deeply invested in this series! Absolutely love hearing the events from Hades perspective and getting a peek into what happened while we were none the wiser! Scarlett St. Clair does an incredible job every time and I adore her books!

Hades story will always hold a special place in my heart. Having his POV is always something that amazes me, as his experiences go so far beyond the here and now. Game of Gods is perhaps the most critical culmination of that.
Watching Hades work so hard for his future with Persephone is why I love him so much. He's far from perfect, but they're perfect together.
The side cast on this one is also 5 stars!!! Omg. Yes yes yes.
Rereading these in preparation for the release of Chaos.. and I just can't believe we're almost there.
I'm so so excited for the final book!!

This one was kind of a miss for me. I’m not sure if it’s just been too long between the this and the other books or if I’m Just not that into the multiple POV story. This was kind of a drudge to get through.

Scarlett St. Clair delivers another great novel in this series. I’m seriously in love with Hades. Still hanging on the edge of my seat waiting for the finale.

Once again Hades and Persephone’s love story has me held captive waiting for the next instalment. I would read Scarlett’s grocery list at this point!

A Game of Gods is perfect for fans of spicy Greek mythology retellings.

This book is A Touch of Malice from Hades’ POV. Persephone and Hades are investigating the attack of gods while trying to get their marriage approved by Zeus.

I gave this book 4/5 stars. I love this series and can’t wait for the next book. The only thing I didn’t like was how much spice was in it. It felt like that was all they were doing and it got tiring after a while. If lots of spice is your thing though, this book is perfect for you. That was my only issue with the book. I like how there were multiple POVS in this book even though it is mainly from Hades perspective. There is a lot of action in this book at the end which I also liked. I would recommend this book to others. This book is part of an interconnected series, so if you aren’t interested in that, then I wouldn’t recommend reading this. Overall, this book was good and I am excited about to read the next one.

I am always weary of reading the same story in a different POV, but the hades series has been different enough to keep me interested, and a game of gods had me hooked the entire time. The different POVs, the details about people and situations we only get glimpses of in Persephone’s book, getting to be inside of Hades’ head, I absolutely loved it. Book 3 was my favorite of the series, and that cliff hanger!!!! if you enjoyed Persephone’s side, I highly encourage picking up Hades’ side as well. A big shout out to NetGalley for the arc!

I enjoyed this a lot, as previous books in the series. Dionysus and Ariadne stole the show! Still love Hades & Sephy but loveee the budding newcomers.

The highly anticipated Hades saga is finally here! "A Touch of Darkness" was one of the very first series that rekindled my love for reading, and I'm eternally grateful for that.

I absolutely adore the Hades saga. It's an incredible experience to delve into both sides of the story, shedding light on aspects that Persephone's tales might have left unanswered, but Hades is my definite favorite of the two book sagas. His perspective gives us so much more insight than Persephone's.

This book delivered everything I could have hoped for. It expertly refreshed my memory on all the preceding events, unveiled perspectives that were missing from Persephone's narrative, and, not to mention, we had the sheer delight of indulging in Hades' wonderfully wicked language. The inclusion of chapters featuring Dionysus and Ariadne was a phenomenal bonus. The frequency with which a certain request was made in this book had me absolutely enthralled.

I received an ARC of this title from NetGalley in exchange for an honest review. All opinions are my own and were not affected by the free copy.

I've said it once, and I'll say it again, Hades storyline is just better than Persephone's. I really enjoying reading the things Hades is doing to try to secure his future with Persephone, while doing everything in his power to mess everything up. St. Clair does a really great job keeping the storyline fresh, even though it's a retelling of books. I did a reread of the both series, alternating after each book, which really showed how much was going on that we didn't know about.

The only thing I didn't like about this book were the couple of chapters told from a particular demigod, left me feeling all skeeved out. The other POVs were great, just not his.

I will definitely be continuing the series!

Scarlet St Clair is absolutely killing it with this as I was quite impressed by it and totally understand the hype. I look forward to checking out more of her books.

Thank you to netgalley and the publishers for providing me with an arc for an honest review.

I had previously only read the books in this series from Persephone's perspective, so I wasn't quite sure what to expect. I was worried that it would be boring to read the same story again, but that was not the case. I liked the added story lines and different perspective; I enjoyed it just as much as the other perspective.
Thank you to Bloom Books and NetGalley for providing me with an advance copy of the book.

Absolutely adore this. Hades’ perspective has been a fave of mine for some time now and game of gods was no different.

Fans of fated lovers, mythology, romantasy, and dark god tropes I have a series for you!

While this book is great stand alone, it’s 100x better if you’ve started from the beginning or in tandem with a touch of darkness for the full *WOW* factor!

This spin off series of Hades perspective adds so much depth to the whole Persephone X Hades saga. You learn so much more about the 3 brother dynamics, Theseus and his triad and I absolutely loved how we got the know about Dionysus and Ariadne’s story.

The author really brings together ancient myth and modernizes it with her own twist in a way that is incredibly engaging, thoughtful, and oh so sexy. I’ve read a lot of retellings of Hades and Persephone which are repetitive and predictable. This series along with a touch of darkness just beats out any competition by a mile. I will forever cherish these books!

I was lucky enough to receive and ARC is this book and, as always, it’s nice to see the story take place from Hades’ perspective. I like to see the reasoning behind his broody and sometimes harsh demeanor, no matter how much we know he loves Persephone and things do get explained in her books. His dark and sensual nature never gets old and his protective streak is hot. As are all oh his dark thoughts and dirty deeds. But the end was definitely stressful and I look forward to seeing ho things resolve out of this mess!

I love these Hades POV books, his perspective is so different from Persephone’s, and it adds so much to the story. To me though, the best part of Hades POV is the look at the other gods and players, particularly Hephaestus and Aphrodite. I am dying for their book, the more we see of them through Hades eyes just makes me more excited. I’m very excited for the finale of this series!

Thank you to NetGalley and Sourcebooks Bloom Books for the eARC in exchange for an honest review.

I received an arc of the audiobook upon its release for my honest review through Netgalley.

This was one of my most anticipated releases of the year. I am a huge Scarlett St Clair fan and an even bigger Greek Mythology fan. I love a good myth retelling, especially of Hades and Persephone. But they're not all good and you can tell when someone does or doesn't know their mythology...

Scarlett knows her mythology. It's apparent in the way she writes not just Hades x Persephone, but the entire world of gods and their world. I am so impressed with how Scarlett can take modern situations and incorporate them into the mythology and still give the mythology its true voice within the story. I love seeing how she takes multiple myths and gives them a timeline. Something I know can be extremely challenging with how often myths contradict each other.

I really enjoy Hades side of the story, more than Persephone's. Don't get me wrong - I love Persephone, but all the behind-the-scenes that Hades is a part of is much more what I enjoy reading. The backstory of the Underworld, Olympus, and all the other really interesting things that go with being God of the Underworld. Did I mention how much I love the way Scarlett writes the Underworld? It's hauntingly beautiful.

Anyways, I like that we have been seeing both sides of their story in separate books because it lets both of them really shine and build the story fully. But I am glad that the finale is both POV (especially after this cliffhanger) so that I can see both their reactions in the conclusion. (Touch of Chaos, 2024)

I love Dionysus & Ariadne's relationship and their side story. I have always loved Dionysus and I adore the way Scarlett writes him and his madness. You can't forget Hermes' quick comments, Aphrodite and Hephaestus' broken love story... and the redemption of Apollo. I really love the growth of Apollo in these books... a lot. And of course, Hecate and Thanatos. Honestly, even the Gods and Demis that we're supposed to hate - the development is so good. Even Demeter.... !!

I am so excited to see how this story concludes! and for Apollo/Hyacinth & Aphrodite/Hephaestus' stories if they still happen. Honestly, I could read just Hermes tease Hades all day and that would be so entertaining for me.
