Awesome.
Jane is unhappy. She’s a struggling writer trapped in an underwhelming marriage with husband Ted, scraping by to pay for a mortgage for a house and a life that she’s never really wanted. There’s only ever been one person she cared about, one person who truly understood her: Thalia. Jane’s best and only friend nearly a decade ago during their time together at Oxford. But then the night of the formal which should have bound them together for good, drove them apart. Until now. Because after years of searching, Thalia is everywhere as she tops the New York Times bestseller list. And now Jane has found Thalia after all these years, she won’t let her go…
Everyone should read it.

I was hooked on this from the start! The premise sounded really original and the book is so well written that I just was consumed by the plot. Its well paced out and things keep ticking aling and moving forward, there are also some twists and turns thrown in that I didn't see coming. The characters are well written and real and I actually know people like this! This is the perfect book to get lost in for a day or two, a must read

I'm Not Done With You Yet is a dark and hooking thriller. I loved the premise of this and the tense, psychological suspense Sutanto creates through her characters. Even though this is different from the authors usual genres I think this was really well written and will be a big hit to any thriller fans as this is filled with twists and secrets to keep you hooked.

I thought the cover design was eye-catching, and the description sounded intriguing.

This was a very good psychological thriller - I liked it a lot. I was drawn in from the very beginning. Something that struck me was how much I liked the protagonist, and found myself able to relate to her, despite the fact that in some ways, she was perhaps an unlikeable, antagonistic character. The darker side of her personality intrigued me, and I was gripped. I couldn't stop turning the pages.

Since Jesse Sutanto normally writes in a different and more light-hearted genre, I was interested to see what she would come up with in terms of a psychological thriller, that too her first foray into this category of writing.

Jane is stuck - as a mid-list author, in an indifferent marriage, in a mid-western life - none of which were part of her grand plan for her life. In a way, she has been in limbo for the last decade, still yearning for the unfulfilled dreams of her one-year MFA at Oxford, and her lost friendship, all of which ended on a decidedly sour note.

At Oxford, Jane - a self-diagnosed sociopath with serious anger issues - had become obsessed with her best friend, the beautiful and charismatic Thalia. But that ended one terrible, bloody night, after which Thalia effectively ghosted Jane for years afterwards.

But Thalia is suddenly in public view again after her book hits the New York Times bestseller list. Interestingly, the narrative of the book bears an uncanny resemblance to Jane and Thalia's one-time friendship. So when Jane finds out that Thalia will be speaking at a writer's conference in New York, she is determined to go there and reestablish contact with her friend. The problem is, Jane hasn't bargained for the bizarre chain of events that will be set off by their "reunion"...

Barring a slow-moving and slightly repetitive start to the story, Sutanto has delivered a quirky and enjoyable thriller about psychopaths, writers, and writers who are psychopaths, which is an easy read. I did see one of the major twists coming, but was nevertheless entertained en route to the denouement. This is a book that will likely be a good fit for fans of her earlier novels, despite being written in a different genre. Try it!

Utterly Tremendous…
This author’s move into the territory of psychological suspense fiction arrives with a flourish in this utterly tremendous and deliciously dark tale of obsession, control, sociopathy and toxic friendships. Enter Jane and Thalia, two writers with deep secrets and hidden pasts and entwined in more ways than one. A twisting plot populated with a keenly observed cast of characters, a razor sharp, edgy and caustic narrative and misdirection galore kept this reader glued to the pages for what is a wholly immersive, thoroughly entertaining, one sit read. Compelling and completely all consuming.

I absolutely loved this dark thriller by Jesse Sutanto! I have previously read her much lighter book series about the four meddling aunties, and so was really surprised at the tone of this book, which is so ominous! Beautifully written as always!
