The final book in the Gifted Clans trilogy did not disappoint. Riley and her friends tackle yet another mystical adventure, showing that cooperation, family, and honesty can carry us through difficult times. The theme of blended family and sacrifices for our loved ones are relatable and inspiring. Riley is such a likeable protagonist. She isn’t the “I can do everything on my own” teen. But, her moments of self doubt, fear, and determination make her so relatable. A very well rounded character and a thoroughly enjoyable (and satisfying) conclusion to the series. I really enjoyed the narrator chosen for this book. Thank you to Graci Kim and Net Galley for the opportunity to preview this ARC.

Thank you to NetGalley and Disney Audiobooks for providing a copy of this eARC for review.

I really enjoy Riley's character. The author doesn't make her an all-powerful, no-fear protagonist. She has doubts and fears, and it's made very clear that she is just a normal kid (albeit with very unique skills and experiences). The characters are interesting and loveable. This novel shows a loyal friend group with a fantastic moral compass.

I really enjoyed the narrator. The intonation and emotion throughout the novel were at the right moments. Sometimes it was difficult to differentiate between Riley's thoughts and her speech, but that's fairly standard in audiobooks. I thought the novel was read well and at a good speed.

The Last Fallen Realm is the final chapter of the Gifted Clans saga. I really enjoyed how the characters developed and grew throughout the series. The pacing continued to progress nicely. The adventures that Riley and Emmett had gone through were so much fun to read. This was a very fitting conclusion to the storyline. I would recommend it to anyone looking for an entertaining read.

The adventures of Riley Oh continue in this third book in the Gifted Clans trilogy. Riley is supposed to save the Mortalrealm and the world by defeating the goddesses of the Godrealm, while her sister is stuck in the Spiritrealm. Her soul-twin Dahl and her new witch friends team up to prepare for war and a very strange competition that includes mini-golf. Riley goes through the usual tween/young teen angst and decision making issues, making this a good choice for middle school readers.
There was a lot going on in this book, and this reader found it a bit hard to follow in places. The ending was not what was expected, however, and left it open to a possible fourth book in the series. This would pair well with the Aru Shah series.

Good, solid story. Korean mythology and adventure within a modern world. Interesting to read about. Will get this for our library.

A fitting end to a delightful trilogy from the Rick Riordan Presents imprint. It is very important to go back and start with the first book in this trilogy or 80% of this book will make absolutely no sense at all. I think Riley Oh is an awesome protagonist, but for me the supporting cast are the real 'stars." I especially love Hattie. I've listened to two of the three books on audio and Susie Yeung's narration is exactly right for these young teens dealing with vengeful goddesses and figuring out how to manage their crushes. I was bummed that one returning character ending u being less than awesome, but Haetae's big reveal was awesome, so it balanced out!

Thanks to Netgalley and the publisher for an audio arc in exchange for a fair and honest review.

Thank you Disney Audiobooks, Rick Riordan Presents Audio, and NetGalley for the advanced electronic audio review copy of this wonderful book. I really enjoyed this last book in the Gifted Clans series. It was a satisfying conclusion and the audiobook narration was great. I hope to see the characters again in a spin-off or perhaps even a cross-series collaboration with another Rick Riordan Presents author.

I'm a little sad that the Gifted Clans trilogy is over now, I hope Graci Kim revisits these characters in spin-off stories because I'm not ready to say goodbye. Overall this is a satisfying ending and was a fun read. I loved how Kim expanded this world and the different magical creatures and characters readers get to meet along the way.

THE LAST FALLEN REALM isn't my favorite book out of the trilogy, but I appreciate how Kim ties elements from the other books in the series into this one (along with the short story that's featured in THE CURSED CARNIVAL AND OTHER CALAMATIES anthology so make sure you read that first).

I appreciate Riley Oh's story arc and that Kim managed to find a good balance of letting these characters act their age while also tackling BIG problems that could easily have had the characters reading older than they are. This is a fun middle grader-early YA series that I think a lot of tweens and teens will enjoy reading.

Also - I'm still dying to try Emmett's salted caramel cookies. Just sayin'.

Suzie Yeung does a great job with the audiobook narration.
