No Cooldown for Love is an only one bed/one room at the end, insta-love-ish book. It is about Mitchell and Hope. Mitchell sees a car at the edge of a cliff in a snowstorm and rescues the woman inside. He is instantly attracted to her . Hope is dealing with the loss of her mentor and getting stuck upside down in a car, during a snowstorm was not in the plans. Now she's snowbound with the hottest guy she has ever seen, and there is only one room and bed that they must share. As each of their walls start to come down they begin to wonder if they can be in each other's worlds.

This was a good book, and the characters were interesting. I liked Hope as a strong, confident woman and thought Mitchell was a kind, caring guy (just keep his mother away from me!). I just struggled with a lot of telling, rather than showing. I hate when a book tells me about things that happen, rather than experiencing the events.

When we got character interactions, the banter between the two was top-notch and an enjoyable ride. I also really like the friendship between Mitchell and his two friends Tully and Linc. I like a good, positive, male relationship.

Overall, this was a quick, easy, entertaining read. I look forward to checking out Aliyah Burke's books in the future. Thank you to NetGalley and Entangled for a copy of this book. All opinions are 100% mine.

No Cooldown For Love is about ex-professional basketball player Mitchell who during a snowstorm saves a woman from an nasty car accident. With nowhere to go because of the weather Mitchell and Hope end up at a lodge and of course there is only one room left with only one bed, one of my favourite book tropes. I really enjoyed this book and couldn’t put it down. I finished it in one day and thought that it was definitely a 5/5 star read. This is the first book I’ve read by Aliyah Burke and I am looking forward to reading her other books and series. This book is released June 26,2023. Thank you to Netgalley, Entangled Publishing and Aliyah Burke for an opportunity to read an advanced copy of this book.

This was good! The characters have great chemistry and excellent banter. Love the forced proximity and found family tropes in it!

Thank you Entangled publishing and Net Galley,

Hope is dealing with the loss of her mentor who she considered as a father and one day she is in a case accident and Mitchell an ex NBA player who just got out of a crazy relationship savws her. They’re force to share a room at an Inn, the Inn also
happens to be hosting a singles mixer…

This book was soooooo cute and fun!!! I absolutely love the banter between the characters and I loved the the one bed, Forced proximity, and found family trope between Hope and Roman.

One room, one bed... the most fun trope. Hope is overwhelmed with grief and ex-pro basketball player Mitchell was just trying to save the woman on the edge of a cliff.

Lots of chemistry, fun banter, cute pick up lines... Truly a fun romance.... Love both characters. Both are really likable and you really want them to be together. A terrific romance.

Thanks to the publisher for the arc.

This book had tonnes of flirting, brooding and forced proximity which I loved along with the curvy female main character, Hope. She was confident in her body and herself, making friends at the lodge easily with her friendliness, charm and humour which was great to see. One thing that was definitely missing was any form of proper conversation between Hope and Mitchell, though. As a reader, we know a lot about their hangups, past and baggage but they share almost none of this with each other and so their romance completely lacked any depth and it was hard to imagine they could have fallen in love when they know nothing about each other. Hope shares more with Emma and Dawson, Mitchell’s friends’ partners, the first time she meets them than she ever shares with him and I think it would have given an opportunity to add more layers to Hope and Mitchell’s relationship and to their dramatic fall out if they ever communicated.

I received a free copy of this book. All views are my own.

“When it comes to you, Flykra, there is no cooldown on love. I’m all in. Head over fucking heels in love with you.“

spoiler?-

yes, that was good book. the characters were great, i liked the story, the build up was great, the one bed trope was well written even if i’m not the biggest fan of that trope but the best thing about this book was this scene:

„I can quote movies for you, yell it from the top of every skyscraper, but if you don’t believe me, it doesn’t matter. I know I fucked up and I didn’t back you up when you needed me to. Especially having just lost your mentor, and for that, I’m going to be sorry forever.”

thank you so much for the arc in exchange for an honest review.

I enjoyed this book. A strong confident woman who knows her worth. A man who knows what he wants, and isn’t afraid to tell the world. I loved that they started slow, and took their time. They didn’t sleep together the first night, it wasn’t rushed. I am happy with the ending, and I can’t wait to read more of Aliyah Burkes books!!! :)
