Maybe an unpopular opinion, but I really enjoy a good love triangle. This book was allll about the love triangle so if it’s not your thing this book may not be for you. For me I really enjoyed this book, it’s set in Australia and the main characters are serious animal lovers being a rescue home owner and a vet, it’s very wholesome. The rivalry between the FMCs best friend (the vet) and the new actor in town makes up a huge part of this book, and whilst I really enjoyed it it was a tad tiresome that every interaction had to include some mention of the rivalry.

I enjoyed the authors writing style and found the whole book very light hearted and even a little bit young in some parts, as if it could possibly be considered a new adult book. The main characters were written fairly well and I thought the chemistry with the main couple was well done. Overall a nice debut novel and I’ll be checking out the authors next book when it comes out later this year.

A brilliant laugh out loud rom com! I laughed so hard and cried and screamed at the characters. They are far from perfect but are likeable. A vet, a rescue and a hot movie star!! Hmmm what else? ANIMALS of course! My most favourite thing in the world.

I feel like SIT, STAY, LOVE and I completed vibed. Bookish happenstance pulled me to read it at just the right moment and it was love from beginning to end!

I didn’t think love triangles were a trope I enjoyed, but guess I was wrong, because I fell for this one. For a love triangle to work, the rivals have to be evenly matched and Amy Hutton nailed it with Ethan & Toby. And it turns out, a dash of jealousy is also my thing (or maybe it’s just a jealous Toby?).

Throw in dogs, a rescue shelter, a touch of sexual tension & spice and a Sydney setting and I was sold!

Perfect for upcoming summer & beach reading.

One of my favourite romances of the year - and it’s an Aussie debut! Now to get a physical copy of this rom com for my shelves.

What an absolutely gorgeous story! It’s hard to believe that Sit, Stay, Love is Amy Hutton’s first book because it’s written so beautifully. Her characters are vibrant and believable as are the animals—mostly dogs—that are central to this story, which is sweet, endearing, funny and charming. I loved Sera’s kind heart and her care for the animals she rescued, though I could have hit her over the head for not seeing the love shining out of Toby’s eyes whenever he looked at her, nor for recognising that her feelings for him were more than just friendship. Ethan was also an interesting character, with that mix of self-centredness that successful actors seem to portray and friendly down to earth charm when he wasn’t centre stage. It didn’t hurt one bit that he—and Toby— were drop dead gorgeous. I flowed through this story with a goofy smile on my face and a chuckle not too far away for much of the time. I am eagerly anticipating Amy Hutton’s next book.

Thanks to Simon & Schuster Australia, Netgalley and the author for an ARC of this book. I am leaving this unbiased review voluntarily.

Well this is definitely not a formulaic romance novel. I was as unsure as Sera about which way I wanted it to go, but it definitely went the right way.

Basically Sera is in the enviable position of having to pick between a hot movie star who is totally into her and her equally hot veterinarian best friend. As conundrums go, not a bad one. Also, there's heaps of cute pets, mainly dogs. And the best part is that all the Australianisms were bang on. So refreshing when Aussies don't all sound like Paul Hogan.

This was a bit of a slow burn actually, but packs a punch at the end so if you are into a bit of sizzle then you just have to wait for it. And did I mention there are plenty of really cute dogs to keep you happy until then?

Sit, Stay, Love is a fun, puppy filled, friends-to-lovers romance which had me intrigued right from the start.
Sera rescues animals and loves them like her own.
Toby is a veterinarian who also happens to be Sera's best friend of 2 years.
Ethan is the famous Hollywood actor... that is scared of dogs? Oh and makes every single person blush.
Throughout Amy Hutton's book, Sera can't help but notice her feelings for Ethan, but she also starts questioning why she is only just now noticing her potential feelings towards Toby. Why is Toby all of a sudden jealous of Ethan, and why is Sera feeling like this?
The whole time while I was reading this book, I had a rollercoaster of emotions. At some points I wanted to be INSIDE the book, literally. This book follows the decisions Sera has to make which have the power to change her life, and also the obstacles which she faces with family, relationships, and in the shelter she runs.
I enjoyed this book so much and finished it in one sitting! Sit, Stay, Love is such a heartwarming, easy read that you should definitely pick up. Also I absolutely LOVED the amount of puppies and animals included!
My rating is a 4.5/5 stars!
Thank you so much to Simon & Schuster AU for allowing me to read and review this ARC, I am so grateful.

Thanks to NetGalley and Simon & Schuster Australia for the chance to read this book.
Sit, stay, love is an easy to read romance novel with the best friends to lovers trope and a love triangle.
Sera is a caring woman with a big heart who runs an animal shelter. Toby is a generous vet with a patient personality. Ethan is an actor with a big ego but a kind soul.
Sera and Toby have been besties for 2 years but don't want to risk changing their relationship. Ethan is new to the scene and is immediately attracted to Sera.
What follows is a story of ups and downs, chemistry, small heartbreaks and the best part - lots of animals! Their are plenty of laughs to be enjoyed while reading this story. A thoroughly enjoyable book!

Sit, Stay, Love was such a cute and fun read. I needed a comfy cozy book and this was perfect.

Sera owns a pet shelter and her best friend, Toby, is the local vet (and he's also super hot). When famous actor Ethan James stumbles into her life and needs help, Sera begins to fall for Ethan...but is also surprised when Toby's jealousy surfaces.

Many thanks to NetGalley and Simon Schuster Australia for the ARC copy of this lovely book!

There was a lot ot love about this book.
For starters, who doesnt love books with adorable animals?
But throw in a hot moviestar AND a sexy best friend who's also a vet, what more could you want?

There were a few lol moments, a couple of swoon moments, and some fun banter, this was an enjoyable read that was quite relatable. I'd happily recommend to anyone looking for a light-hearted read that ends on a very satisfying note.

A sold 4 stars.

One final thing... as the owner of a scruffy Jack Russell myself, I was so happy to see Harry find his forever home.

I enjoyed this love triangle rom com featuring Sera, the owner of an animal shelter; Ethan, a famous actor; Toby, Sera’s hot BFF vet; and a lot of cute animals!

Sera was an appealing and sympathetic lead. I wasn’t as invested in the two male main characters who both treated Sera poorly at time during the book (ignoring her or betraying her confidence) and also behaved immaturely towards each other. At times, part of me wished a third, more appealing love interest might appear and whisk Sera off her feet! However, this was still a fun and entertaining read, and I loved the Sydney location as well.

Note to the publisher: the formatting of the document uploaded to NetGalley was all awry on my kindle, which made it quite difficult to reading/confusing at time. I strongly recommend you upload a Kindle friendly version to NetGalley, as this may affect people’s reviews

This book is so cute! This is the perfect love triangle book, combined with an even more perfect friends to lovers story.

Ethan and Toby are completely different, and Sera likes them both. Ethan is the movie star that has come unexpectedly into her life, bringing some much needed financial relief to her struggling animal shelter. Toby is her best friend that provides free veterinarian treatments and advice for the animals the shelter houses. The tension between the two was nothing short of amusing!

I loved this story, although I was definitely only rooting for one man in particular, the other never quite convinced me.

The animals in this story are actually the cutest, and I really enjoyed the plot of dog training and overcoming the fears.

The only thing that I would say I didn't love was the way the story kept jumping. It didn't read very smoothly, and I found myself a bit confused about when and where we were in a few places. Time was skipped quite frequently (which is fine, we obviously don't want to read the boring parts!) but I did find that I got lost in sections. Perhaps with some final formatting and another last edit, this will be a bit tidier in the final copy!

Overall this is a great, fun book. I would definitely recommend it for fans of romcoms, and in particular the friends to lovers / love triangle tropes! I look forward to buying a copy of Sit, Stay, Love once released.

Thanks to Netgalley for allowing me to read a copy of this one!

Sit, stay, love is a fun rom-com with all the things you need to make you feel good. A hot movie star, best friends to Lovers, great banter and let's face it who doesn't love animals thrown in the mix. I laughed, I cried and I yelled at the characters. These characters were full rounded, they were not perfect ,but the were believable and loveable. Once I got to know them, (which thanks to great writing didn't take long)I cared what happened and what choices they made. I wanted that happy ending for everyone. I finished this book with a smile on my face and a warmth in my heart. I give this a solid 4.5/5
