As a drama about a group of friends, this is a decent read, if a bit long.
There's some colourful characters (mainly Anna's family) and some nice moments of friendship.
However, I was constantly waiting for the horror, the creepiness, and the downright odd I expect from Lindqvist, and apart from in brief snatches, I didn't get that.
Enjoyable, even though I'd assumed I was getting something different.
