A well written book that is addictive and will have you hooked.

I enjoyed tha the story was told from different points if view. With all the different characters and all of their different personalities which offered may different takes and twists along the way.

I’m afraid this is going to be a case of damned by feint praise because nothing awful to complain about but nothing brilliant to enthuse about either.
Good start but then pace slowed. Ending ok with at least a satisfactory conclusion.

The saying goes " There Are Two Sides To Every Story". Clearly they haven't read this fabulous book as there are several.

Without giving this amazing plot away, welcome to a world of lies and deception with a side order of good old revenge.

The story is told from several POV, whose perspectives differ greatly.

I loved how the suspense builds to boiling point.

A must read that will keep you captive throughout.

Wow. Okay. I don’t even really know what to say! I’m still a little shocked lol. This one did start off a bit slow, but once it picked up, I really enjoyed it!

This was not a favorite of mine from this author. I usually like her books, but this one was tedious to read. It just wasn't what I consider a thriller or suspense novel. Thanks to net galley and the publisher for an early read.

There are three sides to this story. Hers. Mine. And the truth....

The book starts off quite fast paced told from the POV of the three characters Marla, Athena and Sonya. The writing is easy to read with short chapters and to the point content. I found the first half captivating but got a little bored after here with the who did it aspect.

I imagine this would be a great read for most casual readers.

The ending tied up nicely.

Overall an average read.

I have enjoyed everything I have read by Nicole Trope so far except this one. The one dragged one and I was not invested in the story or the characters, who were all annoying. This just wasn’t for me.

Nicole Trope never disappoints, and this book was no exception! If you like edge of your seat, page turning suspense you will definitely want to read this! I could not put it down! It had me on pins and needles til the very last page. Highly recommend!!

On a rainy morning, a man runs across a road in front of busy traffic. He’s struck by a car that doesn’t stop, and witness reports are contradictory. He’s in a coma, and can’t immediately be identified.
The victim will turn out to be Damon, a very successful businessman. Damon should have had no reason to be at that intersection, at that time. Why was he there? Who struck him? And was it deliberate? It soon becomes clear that Damon was involved with multiple women. The novel is told in chapters that alternate between women: his wife, Marla. His lover, Athena. And his therapist, Sonya.

I LOVED this book – it was additive and had me well and truly hooked!

The story was very well written, and I loved the author’s writing style. The pace of the book was perfect and the length of the chapters was spot on, it really encourage the side of me that always thinks, I will just read one more chapter!

The way that the story was told from the different viewpoints was great, I loved the mix of characters and their different personalities and how they all worked together, and the ending was perfect – an unexpected twist!!

This was one that had me turning the pages in to the early hours and I had to find out how it would all end – I really enjoyed it all from start to finish!

It is 5 stars from me for this one – very highly recommended!

I love this author and have absolutely adored every single one of her addictive and gripping books. This one was no different. One of my best reads this year - just wow! Loved it so much. Highly recommend this one.

Engaging but predictable, even the twist at the end.
I struggled with Athena the most, mostly due to her meek nature and not much guilt for sleeping with a married man.

Definitely enjoyed this domestic thriller! The twist at the end is great! I will be recommending this to my patrons at the library I work at they always come to me looking for great reads and this was definitely one!

I've read and enjoyed quite a few, books by this author but I just couldn't enjoy this one it wasn't gripping at all.

This was a quick and easy read. I did enjoy it but didn’t find it as gripping as some of this authors other books

The Truth about the Accident starts right away with the accident. I found this to be a quick and entertaining read. I wanted to know what really happened. A man has been hit and we learn about him from 3 women, his wife, therapist and girlfriend. I was kept guessing until the end. I recommend this entertaining book that will keep you guessing until the end.
