This book is a must-have in a kids library. It has several relevant questions with the necessary scientific explanation for natural events. This book is a must-read STEM book that spark curiosity about life.

I received a complimentary copy of this book via Netgalley. Opinions expressed in this review are my own opinions.

It is a very fun book that answers many "why" questions children have. My only really complained, although it's more of an observation, why does this book have bedtime in the title. These answers serve as great conversation starters and also great sleep avoidance fodder. Much better in the morning of lunchtime.

Such a fun book. My seven-year-old son and I read a couple of questions each night, and some of them sparked really interesting discussions. The true proof of the "stickiness" of this book was that even days or weeks later, something would come up at school or in our lives, and he would reference something he remembered from this book. He also enjoyed just perusing, returning to some of the questions on his own.

I loved this book so much. The wide range of questions and the engaging illustrations make it perfect for my curious ten-year-old and has fostered many further discussions about the questions we've studied. The questions are ones kids will recognize and appreciate (and have probably asked at some point) and the answers are satisfying.

Because of the title of the book, I thought the book would be more in a readable format for parents. I think there is good information in the book and the breadth of questions is good. Because of this, I will purchase the book for my collection. However, I wonder if the book will be use d in the way the title intends.

I thought this was a fun idea and it was executed well. The questions have a great range, the tone of the answers is thoughtful and fun, and the length is perfect for a bedtime snippet. This is a sweet bedtime book/conversation starter book. I could see it being a great Morning Meeting text in my classroom or for closing routines at the end of the school day, too. It has a lot of potential uses and that is such a win!

Thanks to the publishers and Netgalley for an ARC in exchange for an honest review.

This book was so much fun! It included facts and concepts that even I knew very little about. My son is a little too young for it right now, but I can't wait to read it with him when he's older. The illustrations will also draw in younger readers as they "read along" with their parents. This is a great book for introducing younger readers to different areas of science including zoology, physics, astronomy, and medicine. Some concepts may be more difficult for children to understand, but they can always come back to this book as they get older. I highly recommend this book to teachers and librarians to add to their libraries!

The perfect book for inquisitive young minds everywhere. And not so young minds. And if you are not inquisitive this book will certainly get those juices flowing. Not just at bedtime.

This is great book for inquisitive young readers. The book tackles a fun list of questions and pairs them with charming illustrations. I liked how key words and phrases are highlighted in bold and larger text. That made the long paragraphs more visually appealing and helped draw attention to important details. I would recommend this book for both public and school libraries.

My only critique is that the descriptions include a few too many "it's impossible to say" and "we'll never know" type statements.
