I received a copy of this audiobook in exchange for a honest review.

I didn't think I'd like the secret baby or sudden father story as I tend to judge the men in these situations but Jamie prove me wrong. He steps up in a amazing way even with a few setbacks that any new parent should but don't expect. Fallon with her early childhood education and babysitting experience was great at helping Jamie out. I liked that their back story was contentious but with a side of attraction. (Fallon isn't the baby's mother) I also liked her backbone and Jamie's large excitable family. Samantha Chase will continue to be an automatic pick up for me since even a book I wasn't looking forward to gave me all the right feels.

Jamie has it all. Charm, good looks, a job he loves and a supportive family. Then, while his parents are out of town, he gets a knock on the door and a baby is on hid porch. Now he has a son.

Fallon is at a loss. She just got fired from her second job, so she decides to go back home for a while. When home, her friend offered her a nanny position for Jamie.

Many thanks to Net Galley and Dreamscape Media for an audio copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

Charm Me (The Donovans #4) was a great read by Samantha Chase. Jamie Donovan’s life has never been better and always has been. It’s now his turn to take charge of the family pub. Everything was going great until a baby ends up on his doorstep one morning. He doesn’t know what to do even though he can usually charm himself out of any situation. He went to his siblings for help and doesn’t like their solution. Fallon Murphy has been good with people and has only met one person she couldn’t get along with. Unfortunately for her, their parents are best friends. Fallon never expected to get a call that Jamie had a baby and needs her help. I enjoyed reading this book and can’t wait to read more by the author.

Charm Me is a heartwarming story set in a quaint town, focusing on a single dad and the unexpected connection that forms between a nanny and a reformed bad boy who just found out he's a father. Fallon Murphy, the nurturing nanny, and Jamie Donovan, the evolving father, spark a fiery connection as they maneuver through their roles while caring for Jamie's newborn son.

Carly Robins takes the solo narration reins, showcasing her talent in giving distinct voices to each character. She is one of my preferred performers, skillfully delivering a captivating performance, including a beautifully crafted male voice.

Small town romance, enemies-to-lovers, single dad romance. I've loved this series and listening to this one was just what I needed.

Jamie Donovan has always been able to charm his way through anything. He finally will have a challenge he was not expecting.

This challenge has him sending out an SOS to all his siblings. The last person he expects to help with his challenge is his sworn enemy, Fallon Murphy.

Fallon is reluctant to have anything to do with Jamie. But her current employment situation leaves her with little choice.

Being in close proximity of each other will bring out feelings neither was expecting.

We finally get playboy Jamie's story in this one! I have been looking to see who can tame the beast! When Jamie finds out that he has a baby, his world turns upside down. And when his sister recommends the one person he can't stand to help out, he is not prepared for the turmoil ahead. Fallon and Jamie had a past with a lot of trying to out do each other. Always one upping each other. When Fallon moves in to help with the baby, Jamie never saw it coming.

These two are the perfect enemy to lovers story. They are able to find their way through the hard times. The Donovans is a great series with a great family that we get to see in each book. Jamie and Fallon's story was one of my favorites.

The narrators did a great job bringing this story to life.

What a sweet story with all of my favorite tropes! It has single dad, small town romance, and enemies to lovers too. I actually had never read the author or series before but was okay not having read it, but now I need to read them all.

*many thanks to Netgalley and the publisher for the gifted copy for review.

Beautiful story. Loved every part of it. Their hate to love relationship was too good. The build up was amazing. And soo loved their chemistry.

Cute but predictable. This story brings the Donavan's youngest sibling to heal. Jamie Donovan is a charmer. Well-liked, he manages his life to the best of his abilities as it is not easy to be the youngest in a family of successful brothers and sisters. But now he has the chance to prove himself. To show his family and friends that he is ready for more. Fully in charge of the family's pub for the first time in his life, Jamie could not have prepared for the baby on his porch. Calling in the calvary, Jamie is faced with his worst nightmare, having to accept help from the one person that has always bested him in every challenge they faced together - Fallon Murphy.

Fallon is lost. After being fired from yet another job, she is back home licking her wounds and regrouping. When her friend calls stating an emergency, Fallon goes to assist and discovers that it is Jamie that needs her help.

Agreeing to help will take all her skills as well as some she didn't know she possessed. But even enemies can put their differences aside for a baby in need. And so Jamie and Fallon are forced together for the greater good. Learning to navigate parenthood, forced proximity, and a common goal forces Jamie and Fallon to see each other in a different light. One that charges their bodies and souls with more than lust. Could it be love? A cute enemies-to-lovers tale, set with annoying family members, a steep learning curve, and hot sexy times. A light read for the summer.

This book! This series! I am obsessed! I think I've read 0.5-4 in a week. Charm Me in less than 24 hours.
Samantha Chase has a way with family dynamics and making each character unique and wonderful. This small town, enemies to lovers book is no different.
He's the town flirt with his charm and charismatic ways who runs the local family pub. She's the slightly uptight academic who was recently fired for not getting along with others. She has no other choice but to return to her roots and stay at her parents place while they're on vacation. When a newborn is left on a doorstep, Jamie and Fallon have no choice but to be amicable and help each other. It doesn't take them long to realize their nemesis status wouldn't stick and that they would soon become friends. With the support of Jamies family, they both figure things out and start to rely on each other more and more.
This was a fast paced, cute, summer, beachy, romance read. I couldn't put it down and I cannot wait for the next installment of the Donovan series, even though it may be the last one.
10/10 will recommend to everyone!

Adorable!

Jamie is trusted with running the pub. It's the family business and his parents are taking a well-deserved vacation.

He is eager to prove himself. But then he finds a baby on his doorstep. A fling resulted in pregnancy and the mother left the baby to get help. Jamie is used to using his charm, to get out of any situation, but this is one area where it will do him no good.

He turns to his sibling for help, but they don't have experience with kids and are busy with their own life. His sister secretly calls Fallon, his arch-rival to help with child care.

Fallon had to move home after she was let go from yet another job for being unlikable. She spend so much time on getting a good education, but now that it came to work, it seems like nothing is going right.

She doesn't have a job lined up, so she moves in with her parents, who are currently on a trip with Jamie's parents.

She helps him out, but as they spend more time together and with his sweet son, the rivalry turns to something else.

It's the sweetest romance and I love listening to every minute of it. It's baby heavy, but with plenty of cute, swoony scenes in between and when they finally get together, it's so good! :)

Fans of Samantha Chase's The Donovans series are going to enjoy Charm Me. The books in this series all standalone, though there is a bit of crossover with characters from previous novels in the series.

A cute childhood enemies to lovers story, I liked the premise of "bad boy" Jamie being surprised by being a dad. Fallon is a bit of an odd duck, which just made me like her more. She's got a huge heart, and it's nice she found love in the form of a hunky guy and an adorable baby to boot.

A really nice performance in the audio version by Carly Robins.

The narrator is very nice to listen to. When I started listening to this book I really thought I had read the other books in the series, but I don’t think I have. Upside is while I missed a little background, I was able to follow the book just fine. Jamie and Fallon are a great couple.

Charm Me
The Donovans #4
Samantha Chase
The Donovan family consider Jamie an immature goofball who has been able to charm his way through life. His parents have left town on a much-deserved vacation and left Jamie in charge of the pub. This was his chance to implement some “improvements.” All was going well until there was a knock on the door. A former girlfriend had left a baby boy on his doorstep and drove away. The note left with the baby says he is Jamie’s son. Jamie didn’t know what to do but he knew his siblings would.
Fallon Murphy has a problem. Despite all of her degrees she can’t hold down a job. She has been fired twice in the last few months. Ordinarily she gets along with everyone except Jamie Donovan; they have had a long-term rivalry. Her parents are on vacation with Jamie’s parents; she returns home to lick her wounds and to look for a new job. One of Jamie’s sisters calls Fallon and begs for her help with the baby. Both Jamie and Fallon are dubious about this working but they both fall in love with little Asher and their feelings for each other grow stronger everyday but not in the way they suspect.
As with most romance novels this tale is a bit predictable but who cares! This story is sweet, cute, humorous and delightful. The plot is told from two points of view. I didn’t like Jamie at the beginning of this tale, he came across is too arrogant and immature. Asher made a difference in Jamie’s life, suddenly he had a purpose, a reason to go to work. Jamie helped Fallon discover her talent. I liked the secondary characters. Everyone had Asher’s best interest at heart.

Did I read the book, and then listen to the audio? Yes, Yes I did because I just love Samanth Chase's Donovan Series. and the narrator, Carly Robbins is just amazing, She brings such dept and emotion to the story. Feels like you are living in story with the characters

I just love Samanth Chase’s ability to melt my stress away with her storytelling. Her sweet, small town romance transports me away. I feel like I am in Donovan’s pub, and I can’t get enough of this adorable family. Pick this one up if you love small towns, Dual POV, nanny romance, single dad, surprise baby, or close family. I just can't get enough of the Donovan Family! I could read these repeatedly and love them even more.

Jamie Donovan is the town playboy, and he is left to tend to the family pub while his parents are on a cross country trip. He flirts with customers and charms his way through life. He is arrogant, cocky, but fun-loving free spirit.

Then Enters Fallon, who Jamie has known since childhood, and they weren't exactly close, but now tables have turned. Fallon has had some bad luck and has been fired again and needs to go back home in search of a job. When Jamie learns he is the father of a newborn, he is desperate for a nanny. Fallon needs a job and Jamie needs help with a newborn, perfect situation, right? Pick this one up to find out how their story plays out.

Can't wait for the next installment of the Donovan family. Keep them coming!!

This is a contemporary romance with a twist. The unattached smooth operator bachelor finds himself in a pickle when his ex-girlfriend leaves a newborn baby (he didn't know existed) at his front door. Chaos begins and family and friends are enlisted to assist. It's a short listen with one dilemma after another and a predictable outcome. Carly Robins did a fine job with the narration. Thank you to Net Galley and Dreamscape Media for this Audio ARC.

Oh Jamie Donovan...I'm sorry you had to go through some of these life changes but I think it ultimately brought out the best in you! I was itching for Jamie to figure out that Fallon wasn't his nemesis...but someone he was actually attracted to and admired.

Poor Fallon has been having a rough go of it...but those events ultimately led her back to Laurel Bay...and to Jamie Donovan.

I am so emotionally invested in the Donovan clan that it's not even a question of whether I will read the next book in the series or not.

I am also ALWAYS amazed at how Samantha brings the spice in a closed door/fade to black story...she has perfected the art of it.

Carly did such a fantastic job of bringing this story to life. Between her performance and Samantha's words it was magic.

Charm me is the fourth book in Samantha Chase’s the Donovan’s series set in fictitious Laurel Bay, North Carolina. This story revolves around Jamie Donovan, the family’s youngest son. Jamie works in the family’s pub, both behind the bar and in management, temporarily managing the pub as his parents take a well earned extended vacation. He is a charmer, a flirt, and a bit of a player as Jamie is never serious, and when he breaks things off he is done. This is why he just hasn’t taken or returned any phone calls from Jen, the last on a long list.
Meanwhile, Fallon Murphy, Jamie’s lifelong rival, has hit a low point in life. She has just been let go from the second job in a short period of time and sees no choice but to load up her meager belongings and head home from Texas to Laurel Bay. However, Fallon had forgotten about her parents’ trip with the Donovan’s until she calls her mom as she heads East. At least she will have a place to stay when she gets home even if there is no one to greet her. She does have her friends, the Donovan sisters, though.
On the Sunday morning after his parents leave, Jamie is awakened by the doorbell even though he had planned to sleep in. He opens it to see a car speeding away, and a mysterious bundle on his porch. Then the bundle moves and makes noise under its cover and Jamie stoops to discover a baby with a note from Jen introducing his son.
Jamie immediately contacts his siblings and their partners. He needs help, a lot of it! But he doesn’t realize his sisters will call on his sworn enemy, Fallon Murphy whose degree is in early childhood education, seeking the help he so needs!
This is another fun romp in the Donovan family. It is told with humor and heart and touches upon many social issues including mental health and depression. I did enjoy this story and do recommend it for followers of the genre.

This is the fourth book in The Donovan’s series, but could be read as a standalone. You interact with characters in previous books but you do not need to know them or their story to enjoy this book.

I loved getting to know Jamie Donovan more, especially in a different role than anyone thought he could handle. I also loved how Jamie and Fallon’s relationship developed. The narrators did a great job bringing this story to life.

There were a few times were both Jamie and Fallon not communicating properly just annoyed the hell out of me. But overall enjoyed the story!

Thank you Dreamscape Media and NetGalley for this audiobook. This is my honest voluntary review.
