Jamie and Fallon are childhood enemies to lovers. Their dynamic and there fire is what makes this a fabulous read. Although closed door romance isn't always my favorite Samantha Chase does it very well and creates a well rounded romance to it's enjoyable to read any the HEA leaves you with a smile on your face.
The audio adds another level of fabulousness to this book.

I LOVE Samantha Chase - and I LOVE the Donovans series! WOW! Another absolutely brilliant release, and I can't believe she's written each book even better than the previous. I just love every book she puts out more than the last, and I can't wait to devour her words every time I see mention that she has another one coming. I'm so in awe of this gal, and I'm smitten with all her book series, but most especially the Donovans. If you haven't read any of Chase's books, please pick up this series (from the start - Dare Me). You will love them all!

Charm Me, the latest addition, follows youngest brother Jamie. He's the charmer of the family (hence the title). His older brothers are the serious ones, the military man and the realtor trying to take over the town. He's working at his parent's pub and has a new girl on his arm every night... which has now come back to haunt him. A girl from last year has been trying to get in touch with him for months, but he's been blowing her off, ignoring her calls, until one day, a car drives away from his house after ringing the bell - but there's a tiny little bundle of crying joy on the step. His bundle of joy, and she's taken off with a note that says she has to go take care of herself, and will be back in a couple of months, but this is his son, who is 10 days old.

Jamie calls in the troops - his siblings, who have no clue what to do since no one else has kids either. His one sister has a brilliant plan ... to call in Jamie's long-time nemesis, because Fallon has advance degrees in childhood development and education. What could go wrong with this plan! Their parents are best friends and they've all known her since as far back as they can remember. Too bad they've had a rivalry since they were in kindergarten and she beat him in a bicycle race. Everyone would love it if they wound up together - except them.

I adore Chase's writing style, the banter and chemistry she always has between the characters, and just the right amount of steam. It's absolute perfection! I couldn't ask for anything better. I completely and totally recommend this book to everyone (you could get away with reading this as a standalone, but why miss out on the other sibling's stories!).

The audio for this series is the way to go - they're all read by one of my very favourite ladies, Carly Robins. You should definitely listen to this one. She does a fantastic job!

I received an advance review and listen copy from NetGalley, Valentine PR and Dreamscape Media, and this is my honest feedback.

Jamie is thrilled to finally be in charge of his families pub, while his parents are on a long vacation. He has plans for some changes at the pub he hopes to be fully in charge of one day. His life is turned upside down when the last woman he was involved with leaves a three week old baby on his doorstep, saying it is his. His family, as Donovans do, gather together to help problem solve. Enter his old nemesis, Fallon.
Fallon gets fire again this is her second job and in a different state so she goes back to her hometown, now that she unemployed and the perfect person to do some nannying for him while he figures out how to juggle his job and a new baby.
Fallon and Jamie start to see different sides from each other, while Jamie realizes he may have had feelings for Fallon all this time.
From their childhood and into their adulthood, they have chosen to give each other who better at doing things. Over the course of time, they settled into keeping a very necessary distance from each other, despite the fact that their families are close.

This lived up to Samantha Chases standard romance, cute, sweet, and a gripping story. Readers who love family stories, especially the surprise baby trope will love this book.
I had a bit of a hard time with Jamie at the beginning because he was such a player, immature and so conceited it bugged me but it made the banter and play between him and his childhood nemesis Fallon all the better. I just felt bad for Fallon, she just seemed so lost and down on her luck, I wanted her to find some happiness. I enjoyed everyones redemption stories and think it was a good read. The only thing I would have liked that I think would have enhanced the character that I normally wouldn’t ask for was some flash back scenes since their families are all friends.
I look forward to being able to reading the other siblings stories in this series on the future.

Jamie Donovan has always been seen as the good time brother who will chase any woman and ask anyone out. Now with his parents taking a much needed vacation and leaving the bar in his capable hands he is all set to show he can handle the responsibility he has been left with. What he doesn't expect is to find the newborn baby on his doorstep. However, when he sends out the text for help to his siblings all gather to help and have suggestions how to cope. Fallon Murphy comes back to town after losing her job and needing to regroup. It is right as her parents have gone on vacation with the Donovans so she is staying at their home while looking for work. She she is contacted by Riley Donovan for help, she shows up but when she finds out what is needed she almost bails. She and Jamie have been rivals since childhood. Can they find a way to work together to take care of a newborn baby? Will this small baby show them that maybe those feelings of competition of childhood should be retired to childhood and the adult feelings that have sprouted paid more attention to. Oh, I really love these Donovans. Each book in this series can be read as a standalone.

This book was the first I have read by Samantha Chase, and therefore, the first I read in the series. The characters from the other books make an appropriate number of appearances that I would have liked if I had read them before this one.
This is the story of Fallon and Jamie, who have been rivals all of their lives. Then Jamie's ex leaves a baby on his doorstep. He calls his family for help, and the help they provide is Fallon, who has high degrees in childhood development.
Overall, I liked the book, but there were a few things that bothered me. One was that the problems that occurred later in the book felt forced and untrue. Also, being that I am an expert in childhood development, I found it extremely irritating the number of things she got wrong about the subject.
Again, overall, I liked it. It was cute, I was just bothered by the inaccurate information.

This was a cute listen. I enjoyed it and listened to it in one day. Enemies to lovers is one of my favorite tropes! The characters were lovable and the story was sweet.

While I did enjoy this book at parts I did feel like it was rushed. Jamie and Fallon are really cute together and I hope her family will be a new series. I do love a surprise baby, but this is a surprise baby with a twist. Overall very enjoyable and entertaining.

3.5 rounded up.

This was a charming small town, dual POV, single dad, enemies to lovers, forced proximity Nanny romance that sees former childhood nemeses teaming up when playboy Jamie Donovan unexpectedly discovers he's a dad and gets left with the task of caring for his newborn son.

Enter Fallon Murphy, recently fired from her job and returned to her hometown where she gets enlisted to help Jamie care for his son. This is part of a series but definitely worked as a standalone and is perfect for fans of authors like Elsie Silver, Max Munro or Vi Keeland.

Many thanks to NetGalley and the publisher for an early audio copy in exchange for my honest review. Overall this was a quick, enjoyable read but not a super amount of emotional depth for my tastes (ie good not great, won't be a super memorable one for me).

4 ⭐️

I didn’t know how I was going to feel about this book and Jamie in particular when I started this book, but his characters transformation was magical. I loved how he went from an extreme, charming playboy to an amazing single dad within a few weeks was so great to see. I loved how he was able to balance his work/life/newly single fatherhood by the end of the book, with the help of Fallon, of course.

I really loved Fallon’s character - she is basically at rock bottom, but when she starts to babysit for Jamie’s (her childhood nemesis) new son Asher, she instantly falls in love with the little baby and eventually his father. I loved how she figures out what she wants from her life and how she also sticks her ground when things get tough with Jamie.

This is the second audiobook that I've listened to for The Donovans series, and I was so happy to hear Carly Robins' voice as the narrator. When I hear her voice, I get transported back to Laurel Bay.

I love the bond that The Donovans have, and they always step up for each other. 'Charm Me' focuses on Jamie Donovan, and his childhood enemy/nemesis Fallon Murphy. Things have been going great for Jamie.... until he's surprised with a baby left on his doorstep. When his family steps in to help him, his sister, Ryleigh, calls the one person that Jamie never wants to help him- Fallon.

For Fallon, nothing is going right for her. She's been fired from her last two jobs because her employers don't think that she is a team player. She has spent so much time in school, and now, she has to go out into the world and apply all of the knowledge. Feeling defeated, she moves back home to Laurel Bay. When she gets a phone call from her friend, Ryleigh, Fallon goes to help. She is shocked to see that Ryleigh wants Fallon to help Jamie take care of his baby.

As the animosity between Jamie and Fallon begins to dissipate, they start to become friends and possibly more. They find that they have things in common, and they start to feel like a family. But will it last?

I found Jamie to be immature, but Fallon brought out the best in him. I appreciated what the author, Samantha Chase, did with the character of Jenn, who was the baby's biological mother. It would have been easy to see her as the villain, but Chase was able to write her as a character with depth and struggle.

Overall, I really enjoyed going back to spend time in Laurel Bay with The Donovans. I loved that there was a bonus preview for the next book in the series, and I can't wait to read about Patrick's love story.

Thanks to NetGalley and Dreamscape Media for an ALC of this book. I would definitely recommend it!

Book 4 in The Donovans series. Does work as a stand alone.

Jamie, the youngest Donovan, is a consummate flirt. He charms everyone except Fallon. Their families have been friends forever, and they have never gotten along. Always competitive, always bickering. Fallon, recently fired, comes back home to Laurel Bay to regroup. Jamie finds himself in need of serious help, and Fallon is the only person with the time and skills to assist. Can they get along, at least temporarily?

First, Mama Donovan is basically MIA most of this book (they are on vacation). She has been hyper critical in the past, and made entire books awful. So I was happy for her to be absent, though there was a come-to-Jesus in book 3 and she toned down her ways.

While I liked this, it felt kind of shallow. I don't know why, but it did. I still enjoyed it, just didn't LOVE it. I did enjoy the premise- with the book being part of a series, it made it different (sometimes with series it can feel like you are reading the same book over and over).

Carly Robins narrates the audiobook. She has narrated the entire series thus far. No complaints there.

I received an audio copy in exchange for an honest review.

There is something very cozy and comforting about this series. I won't say they are particularly creative, they follow a steady pattern but each one entertains.

Jamie Donovan is used to charming everyone in Laurel Bay and always getting his way, but when his ex drops off a baby on his doorstep and leaves, his whole world changes. He has never gotten along with family friend, Fallon Murphy, but when she is really the only solution to his problem, he thinks that he will easily be able to charm her too. Fallon just lost her second job and is moving home to figure out what she needs to do to be better and what job will really make her happy. When Jamie needs her help, she really doesn't want to be the one to help him, but when she meets his son, she falls in love with him.

This fourth book of the Donovan series was sweet with the addition of Jamie's son. I am not the biggest fan of Jamie, he just seems like a douche. I do feel like him being with Fallon helped him start to grow and change from that though. Fallon and her love for kids is ideally what saved Jamie and really brought him back into somewhat good guy territory. The narration was great!
