Solid book to help build confidence as a leader in both your professional as well as life in general. By learning to lead in a way that you put your people at the forefront of your business, you can see the benefits of a team that finds passion and purpose in their work and create significant change in culture in the workplace. I enjoyed that this was advice that could be used for both people leaders and those who lead without official authority, and lets you explore why the people do truly make or break a business!

A good read for those interested in the intersection of business and faith. Separating the methods from the author's experiences would have made for a stronger book.

The book talks about the high turnover rates and what employees really need, inclusiveness and a culture that is in the employees best interest, immediately after sharing this information the author begins to speak about God’s role in the workplace and while I get that the point is to bullet point good things employees can do to care for eachother and cultivate good culture, it inflicts with the point of inclusivity not even a full page later, with the assumption that the reader has the same religion as the author, it isn’t inclusive. If I’m reading a business book I prefer it to just be about business. I read further along and the author does make some amazing points in what a company should really focus on to decrease turnover rate and keeping employees with a sense of being valued and belonging, but it’s hard to want to read the book, I try to keep an open mind but throughout the whole book it is clear that some of the points made here are religious, and I really prefer a nonfiction collection that’s is fully inclusive. Don’t get me wrong, this is a great book for the targeted audience.
