This storybook follows a day in the life of a whale.

This is an adorable book full of easily-digestible info about whales for little ones, with great artwork filling the pages. Fun activities at the end as well.

I thought that this book was excellent

It was very easy to read and follow and there was plenty of fun detail and facts

It really gives an insight for younger readers about the life of an young Humpback Whale as we follow him on his migration with his mother and close family.

The book has some really lovely illustrations too I read the book with my five-year-old daughter and she loved it and the added activity sections at the end were a brilliant addition and she really enjoyed doing them!

We had read a couple of the books in this series by Anna now and they have all been excellent.

It is 5 stars from me for this one, very highly recommended and another brilliant book from Anna Brett - we both loved it, very happy mummy and daughter here!

Little Whale by Anna Brett and the illustrator is Rebeca Pintos is about a Day in the Life of a Whale Calf and we meet Migaloo. This book made me smile, its the the most adorable, cute and beautifully illustrated book which is great for children.

Within this beautiful little book we learn all about our closest living relatives in the natural

- Their mesmerising whale songs that can be heard for thousands of
miles
- The huge annual migrations they undertake
- The relationships within their pods
- The flips, jumps and tricks humpback whales perform
- How to conserve and whale watching

Little Whale, has also a quiz with answers and things you can do with your child or class - How to make an egg cup whale, these are so cute.
Big and small jigsaws which is also great for the classroom, to get children involved in learning about these wonderful animals.

"This book, Little Whale is from The Really Wild Families series, based on the everyday adventures of wild animals, discover what the littlest members of the family get up to! Through their eyes we will explore their habitats, family dynamics and how they play, grow and survive as a family."

As a former kid that religiously toted around an amazing animals encyclopedia to occupy my time, I loved this!

I’ve worked in zoos for 5 years and in environmental education for 10 years and this book still taught me new things about animals and nature. So, don’t let the fact that this is a children’s book fool you - it is packed with wonderful and digestible tidbits of knowledge.

This read would be fantastic for a kid that is interested in animals and nature. It follows a young humpback whale calf through its habitat and the behaviors and adaptations it possesses. While the illustrations are great for a young audience, the vocabulary is slightly more advanced, giving young ones the opportunity to grow their own vocabulary.

And to top it off, these books end with several pages of games, crafts, and conservation information about the stories real life counterparts.

Thanks NetGalley for the advanced ARC of this book!
