Such a sweet and wholesome enemies to friends to more. This one is set in an Amish community, so clearly very different than my normal romance reads. But I was enthralled with Amish romances back in my early teens so this was almost like a trip down memory lane for me.

Sadie and Caleb’s story was actually a bit fun to read, mainly because Sadie is a spitfire in some ways. There of course were predictable plot lines in this one, but that didn’t detract from the story for me. It was just cute and 100% wholesome innocent romance. Oh but be prepared to get hungry while reading this though, there are many recipes & meals discussed that sound divine.

I was granted a digital copy of this one by Entangled but all opinions on the story are my own.

This was a charming read about friendship, love, family, secrets and second chances. It wasa great escape read.
Many thanks to Entangled Publishing and to Netgalley for providing me with a galley in exchange for my honest opinion.

The last person Sadie expected to see was Caleb Weaver. She had a kitten to rescue so she'd even put up with him for help. It wasn't right but she'd been angry with him for a long time. He'd been such a troublemaker when they were kids. When he up and took off from their community, abandoning his sister, her best friend, Grace, after her devastating accident, well that was just about unforgiveable.
Caleb is none too happy to see that it is Sadie Zigler, standing there, asking for help. He couldn't stand the tattle tale from school days. He just wanted to help his parents with the floundering candy business and not deal with other things. He has no clue what is ahead.
Special thanks for my advanced reader's copy from author Amity Hope and Entangled Publishing, LLC through NetGalley. This is my unsolicited opinion of the book. It is an excellent read. I love how the author showed that what one thinks is going on may not be the truth at all. The Weaver family has such a loving bond. Caleb comes home to help his parents in the community that has judged him. The candy store business itself is enough to draw my attention. Caleb is obviously a natural candy maker.
Sadie is self-driven to be perfect all of the time. She is a sweet, giving character who starts seeing Caleb in a different way. There's also matchmaking, humor and a major secret that keeps this story moving along. I hope we can expect more of this series.
This book works as a stand-alone. The characters are magnetic, the storyline wholesome, clean and interesting enough to make me want more.

God cannot create a new thing in us until we stop clinging so tightly to the old.

Caleb Weaver left his Amish community four years ago because he needed too. A terrible accident was the catalyst of his departure that injured his sister. He went to live with his cousin Aiden who had left because he wanted to. Working for Aiden in carpentry made a good living for Caleb. With his family needing help to run their store, he had come back for support. Driving his truck, he spotted an Amish woman needing help rescuing a kitten. However, to his surprise the young woman was his sister's best friend and his nemesis in school. Sadie Ziegler was just as surprised as Caleb when Caleb stopped his truck to help. The sparks are flying and you know that these two are meant for each other.

I loved how a common good brought them together - the cat, helping the sister and eventually they both became matchmakers with the people they loved. Of course ignoring the good match that they were. Caleb and Sadie both had to deal with issues that put a wall up. Together, they brought down those walls. The one wall that remained was - would Caleb go back to being English after living Amish for months. Would he be able to take the step of faith.

A special thank you to Entangled Publishing and Netgalley for the ARC and the opportunity to post an honest review.

It was a cute and fun read that I very much enjoyed.
Wonderful characters and a great storyline about Caleb and Sadie kept me turning the pages.
And we can't forget a cute kitten added into the mix either.
I also enjoyed the candy making process, so I learned a little something about that, too. Yummy! It will make you drool.
Sometimes, we just have to return home under certain circumstances, or God just may be asking us to return to help folks that need it.
I finished this book in a day. Caleb had a story to tell, and I wanted to see how it turned out.
I wasn't disappointed at all.
5 stars for a well written story that drew me in from the beginning.
I highly recommend!
My thank for a copy of this book. I was NOT required to write a positive review. All opinions expressed are my own.

A sweet enemies to lovers story, Pine Creek Matchmaker is set within an Amish community.Sadie Ziegler and Caleb Weaver grew up not liking each other. He irritated her with his pranks and she irritated him because of her tattle-tale ways.
A stray and emaciated cat that Sadie found on the side of the road reintroduces these two to each other when he stops to give her a lift home. Of course sparks fly as soon as they’re on their way. This is the first time they’ve seen each other in four years because he left the community to work with his cousin Aiden for reasons only he and his family know and his welcome back to the community is not assured.
There are strong themes around the Amish faith and way of life throughout this book. I loved the sense of community, acceptance and forgiveness as well.Sadie and Caleb ae easy to like as are the supporting cast of family and friends. The story flows well and kept me interested throughout.

Pine Creek Matchmaker is the third in the series however, I did not feel like I had missed reading the other books. It read as a standalone. Caleb and Sadie really didn't like one another growing up. When Caleb left to live among the English, it caused quite a stir in their town. Now he has come back to help his parents and has caused a stir again. When he and Sadie are thrown together, will they find love or will they find more differences? I received a copy through Netgalley. A review was not required.

I thought this book was super cute read. I found it easy to follow and easy to dive into. I did like Sadie and Grace they were two peas and a pod and just truly felt like sisters over best friends. They were both fun and super independent, Sadie was super straight lace and tried to stay as "perfect" as can be, why Grace was someone who like to have fun and live a little more. Caleb had a big heart but I did feel like he played "the Woah is me" card a little too much. I like how this group of friends continued to welcome people into their group and the author didn't make seem fake or forced. Over all the author Kept this book a good clean read so it will be suitable for all. It was a very lighthearted read for sure.

What a gorgeous, gentle and heartwarming read
Just the kind when you want to relax that you need.
An Amish romance where Caleb Weaver returns
To the community he left and for which he yearns.

However, four years have passed since he lived there
And some of the community find his return a scare.
He had good reasons to leave, as his Bishop knew,
But few others knew what he needed to do.

His sister's best friend is the first person he meets,
She's rescuing a kitten who he also greets.
When he works in the family candy store
Maybe with Sadie he could a future start looking for?

The two are tasked with raising funds for the community
A town fundraiser, they'll organise you'll see.
Working together helps them each other get to know
Is there a chance for romance between them to grow?

Whilst working together they also help others
The chance for new romances for them to discover.
Will this be their chance for their own romance, too,
Or will the past secrets stop them pulling through?

A heartwarming read with a community feel,
And characters you get to know so they feel real!
A moving story of sacrifice and doing your best
As well as helping romance for yourself and the rest.

For my complementary copy of this book, I say thank you,
As I share with you this, my honest review.

Why have I never read a book by Amity Hope before? “The Pinecreek Matchmaker”, is the third book in the Pine Creek series. It can be read as a stand alone. I recommend reading the books in order. I just bought the first two books for my Kindle so I can catch up. The characters are all engaging and relatable.
Sadie Ziegler is a young girl who gets reacquainted with her best friend’s brother, Caleb. Caleb “jumped the fence” and is in town for a short time to help run his family’s business. They work together planning a fundraiser and matching couples in their town. Will Sadie get her happily ever after?
Many thanks to the author, Entangled Publishing and NetGalley for a complimentary copy of the book. The opinions expressed in this review are entirely my own.

I have found myself enjoying Amish romances and find them sweet and charming and Pine Creek Matchmaker by Amity Hope was exactly that. This is the third book in the series and gives us Caleb and Sadie’s story. As kids, they could not stand each other, though she is friends with Caleb’s sister. Caleb left the community and now is back to help this family and they keep finding themselves interacting. Caleb is caring and determined while Sadie is kind and thoughtful. I enjoyed reading their story.

Happy reading!

The Pine Creek Matchmaker by Amity Hope is A delightful story that grabbed my attention the first world. Release day is Monday, July 17. Thank you Entangled Publishing, LLC, for allowing me to enjoy this delightful story. Although I had not read the other books in this series, I felt it easily could be a standalone addition to your Amish collection.

The story moves along smoothly and keeps you interested throughout. You really want to keep reading.

Characters are delightful and they all add something important to the story.

Although Sadie and Caleb have been know each other for years. One could not have called them friends. When Caleb returned to his Amish community to help his family, he had no idea as to what he was getting into.

You will not be sorry to add this to your Amish collection.

I was not ask for a positive review, but pleased to give this a 5-star review.

Sadie has a way with matchmaking. But when her childhood enemy comes home to help his parents she finds herself attracted to him even though he is not staying. It seems that she can help everyone but herself. Sweet story

I really enjoyed Pine Creek Mathmaker by Amity Hope. This is the first book by this author that I have read which tells you I missed the other books in the series. I do feel that I missed out on something even though each book is a standalone book. I will definitely be reading the other books in the series as I enjoyed this author's style of writing. She writes with a passion for her subjects that puts you in the story and makes you more than just a silent observer. Her stories are more than words on a page they are hope, faith, courage, forgiveness and love all rolled up in a story that you can't seem to put down. I will definitely be looking for more stories by this author and I highly recommend the Pine Creek Matchmaker.

I would like to thank Entangled Publishers and Netgalley for the advanced reader copy but it in no way influenced my opinion of the book.

Pine Creek Matchmaker by Amity Hope, book three in her Pine Creek series, tugs at your heart, holding you hostage until the very last page. This was a story I could not put down, reading it in one day. Sadie Ziegler and Caleb Weaver have history. Most of it revolves around childhood memories of barely tolerating each other. Caleb, created a bit of a scandal years ago when he suddenly left their community after Grace was injured in an accident, going to live among the English (non Amish). Now he’s back to help the family. The first person he runs into is Sadie and neither are impresses. Sadie and Caleb keep getting thrown together. Sadie and Caleb find themselves continually getting thrown together which turns their putting up with each other into something much deeper. Stumbling blocks, secrets and judgmental attitudes make their way in, causing difficulties in the path to their budding relationship.

Ms. Hope wrote a wonderfully sweet and moving Amish tale with a cute kitten, merry matchmaking, scrumptious candy, judgmental people, a difficult decision, and a caring community. I enjoyed getting to know Sadie and Caleb, especially Caleb and their story is one of love, faith, overcoming and needless to say, quite a bit of matchmaking. It's a sweet story that you won't want to miss. I highly recommend Pine Creek Matchmaker to other readers.

I voluntarily reviewed a complimentary copy of this book.

This book has a lovely cover. It is a sweet romance set in a small Amish community. Caleb has recently returned after spending years outside the community. He is a stoic and helpful young man. Sadie is a fiercely independent young lady who loves her life. The story has many characters that add to the interest of the story. The plot rolls along gently as Aiden and Sadie discover important things about themselves and grow their relationship.

Frienship, a cute lovestory, broken hearts. New chances, friendly banter. A tight knit community. What more do you want. A sweet read.
Thank you to netgalley for letting me read this e arc in exchange for an honest opinion

Pine Creek Matchmaker by Amity Hope takes us back to Pine Creek. It was good to see Caleb Weaver and Sadie Ziegler again. They are older and, hopefully, wiser. Pine Creek Matchmaker is a cute story. I found the story to be easy to read. It moved along at a good pace. I enjoyed getting to know Caleb and Sadie. I liked Sadie’s cheerful personality. Matchmaking abounds in this story. I loved the humor. The kitten was a good way to bring Caleb and Sadie together (a sweet meet cute). Caleb is a good candymaker and cook. The candy descriptions had my mouth watering (made me wish their candy store was nearby). I appreciated the epilogue which nicely wrapped up the story. While Pine Creek Matchmaker is the third book in the Pine Creek Amish series, it can be read as a standalone. I have enjoyed reading the series from the beginning. Pine Creek Matchmaker is an amiable Amish tale with a cute kitten, merry matchmaking, scrumptious candy, judgmental people, a difficult decision, and a caring community.
