Kaida Brightscales and the Magical Meadows is about a helpful dragon concerned with the animals around her. The illustrations are vibrant and adorable. Young children will be drawn to the characters. I liked Kaida's character. She is happy to lend a hand when others need it and she goes out of her way to find solutions. The story ends a little abruptly, but it seems this is part of a series. The font/layout has some issues as some of the words didn't appear to have spaces between them, making it hard to read. I hope that gets fixed before the book is published.

Thank you NetGalley and the publisher for providing this ARC. All thoughts are my own.

This story is about a small dragon called Kaida, she lives in a meadow full of abundance. Being a friendly dragon she is, she loves to observe insects around her and always offer helps when needed, but one day, during her joyous frolickinh around the meadow, she encountered a friend who's in trouble, can Kaida uplift the burden they are having? Follow her journey tp uncover the ending❤️
....
As I read the story, I cant help doting on the main character, She's cute and a good little dragon. Not only she's inquisitive but also helpful to those around her. On the other hand, format wise, I think the accompaniment visuals and coloured words help to create a fun reading experience as it is vibrant with colours and images. I felt like I'm on journey alongside Kaida throughout the story. Hence, I think it could serves as a good reading resources among young readers.

This is a cute colourful book for younger children that teaches them about compassion and helping others while learning about the importance of bees. The story and illustrations were also enjoyed by my three-year-old. It’s nice to read a story with good morals that is combined with something educational.

Thank you to Xanda Monteiro and NetGalley or providing me with a free electronic copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

I really wanted to love this book. The art is so cute, lots of bright colors. The text was super awkward, but that could be because it was so hard to read. There was very little spacing in my review copy. It just felt wordy in ways it didn't need to be for kids.

3 stars

I absolutely love encouraging magical little books. Kaida the dragon is appreciating all the nature that surrounds her, wandering around visiting friends, but one her friends is sick. This children’s book teaches the importance of friendship and kindness. However, it also teaches children about other critters, what they are doing, why they do it. The illustrations are so colourful and whimsical. It just such an easy and encouraging tale.

Hmm, this was not exactly what I had expected out of this book. The pictures are great, my 3 year old seemed to enjoy it a little, but the overall writing was not the best in my opinion. It didn't seem to have a clear message or solution to the problem, and the writing was almost attempting to be poetic but never really flowed all that well. I don't remember all of the rules in writing poetry, or the different types, but there just wasn't any cadence to the lines, which bothered me as the reader. It was just okay

Beehive Secrets and the Magical Meadows is a cute little story of Kaida, a curious dragon who goes around learning about the world around her and helping out her friends. She learns about butterflies, ants, and bees. The illustrations are bright and colorful. It's an adorable story to teach kids about learning new things and helping each other other. The only complaint I have is that the multiple fonts is distracting. Overall, Kaida has a great story to share with young learners! Thank you to Netgalley and the publisher for the eARC.

Kaida and Bella will take your kids on a colorful adventure. Kaida’s kindness to her friend shines through with her concern for Bella’s health. Although she was a busy little bee, she was able to care about her friend. It was an educative and fun little book. It teaches kids to know and understand all about friendship and love.

Beehive Secrets and the Magical Meadow by Xanda Monteiro is about Kaida, a curious dragon that’s friendly and helpful, who goes exploring the meadow. She meets Bella the Bee who’s feeling sick and she’s not the only one. Kaida gets help from Mr Butterfly and goes on a mission to cure Bella and her friends of their mysterious sickness.
This is a story of our bees and their wellbeing. It’s a tale of hope, teamwork, wonders of nature, power of friendship and collaboration. It shows the importance of pollination and hard work of bees. It is beautifully illustrated

Thank you for the ARC of Beehive Secrets and the Magical Meadows.

This book seemed to interest my 3 year old immensely, however I did not enjoy it. The wording was not lyrical so it was hard to read aloud. Sometimes it rhymed, sometimes it didn't. I also felt like the story was not resolved. It is mentioned that all of the bees are sick but then we do not see them or hear how they are going to be helped. I was not a fan of this book.

The illustrations are beautiful. I loved the colors of the dragon.

Read from Netgally.
I love that Kadia Helped each of her new friends with their work. Mr. Butterfly and the little Ant helped make soup for Bella the bee to drink. The Coloring of Kadia is my favorite an Ombre of Purple pink and blue.

This was really cute, I loved the beautiful illustrations, the color tones of Kaida were so stunning, I loved looking at all the images everywhere. The furnace the beautiful nature drawn I really enjoyed looking around on these images.

The story is sweet, a story of wonderful friendship and kindness. I loved that it also teaches children about certain critters, what they are doing, why they do it. Kaida is adorable and helps them all with each task they do. It was really so sweet, I loved seeing them all work together to help one friend in need.

It’s a really bright beautiful book that’s easy to read and even had certain words highlighted which will help young readers start to learn too. It is a fun and nice read but also educational in a very fun way. I think younger readers would really enjoy this.
