I enjoyed this book. It takes a good long time to set up the characters and setting before the murder happens, 2/3rds of the story in fact. I really like that as you get to know and care about the characters. Balfour is definitely different than what I was expecting. I did suspect about his mother, her secret. I liked how the killers were drawn out and how the capture when about. #NineLivesandAlibis #NetGalley

It’s Halloween season and there is copious number of tricks compared to treats.

Nothing says murder than having a medium schedule for a visit with his equally famous cat during this spooky season. When Maddie’s younger sister Sam books the medium to help solve a 4o year old case, things will get deadly quickly.

Seems someone does not want him alive. Thrown in the town busybody who secretly scheduled a meeting. Things will be spooky enough as the medium had a stalker as well.

A charming seasonal read that will have you glued to the pages.
