This was utterly hilarious. One of the funniest books I’ve read. I laughed out loud so many times reading it. Also, so endearing and heartwarming 🥰 I just LOVED these characters - Ed was adorable and Mia was so relatable. A totally perfect rom com and a very cute epilogue.

What to expect:

- quite spicy
- lessons…
- opposites attract
- workplace romance
- hilarious narrative and banter

Poor Ed needs some Sex Ed! His teacher coworker and friend Mia takes on the challenge to get him out of his comfort zone. She can be wild, bold, and is the opposite of calm and organized Ed.

I thought this book was going to be more raunchy than it was and I was gladly surprised how hilarious so many parts were instead. This book really takes on high school drama, but with the teachers instead. The kids are the more logical ones. Share some crisps and love while reading this book!

Thank you to the publisher and Netgalley for providing me a copy of this ARC for my honest review.

I have a new favorite author to add to the list! Kristen Bailey is a romcom queen, this book was so funny! I can't wait to read more of her works. I loved Mia and Ed's friendship from the start. They are total opposites but mesh perfectly together! The characters that were meant to be likable were, while the antagonists were simply despicable. Sex Ed was a quick and easy read and I found myself a little sad when it was over. This was definitely a hilarious friends to lovers I am so glad I did not miss!

I loved this. Loved loved loved. I’m not sure I’ve ever laughed out loud this many times while reading a book. Kristen Bailey is a legitimately hilarious storyteller. And Mia and Ed! Oh my god, be my friends. Ed is a shy and lovely teacher who happens to be a bit uptight and reserved - and he happens to be a virgin. His best colleague Mia sees a whole other side of him ready to let loose - and she’s happy to assist. Mia is a delightfully outgoing and charming person who’s quite at ease with herself. I could take some confidence lessons from her. The book takes some turns I wasn’t expecting, and I was very satisfied with the outcome. I like how they didn’t build sex up to be this huge terrifying prospect like they did in 40 Year Old Virgin (which is one of my favorite movies and which is smartly mentioned in an early chapter.) This may be Ed’s sex education, but there’s no doubt that Mia learns more about herself as well. Highly recommend. Just make sure you’re easily able to muffle laughter while reading next to someone asleep.

Thank you to NetGalley, Storm Publishing, and Kristen Bailey for the opportunity to read this ARC in exchange for my honest review.

Mia and Ed have been friends ever since they started working together as teachers at the same school. Truly great friends, until one day, Ed lets slip that he is still a virgin at 28, and awkward around women he is interested in. Mia steps in to help her friend, teaching him everything he needs to know to please a woman. It's funny, cringe-worthy, and sweet all at once.

I did indeed like this friends-to-lovers story, but did have a few instances where I disliked the miscommunication that was used to further the story. That's always my least favorite trope, and while I understand its use, it is never my favorite. However, I laughed (while squirming uncomfortably at times) and got a tear in my eye at the overall cuteness of this friendship. It was a light-hearted and fun read with spicy elements.

Thank you to NetGalley and Storm Publishing for an Advanced Reader Copy in exchange for a fair and honest review!

HUGE thank you to NetGalley, Kristen Bailey and Storm Publishing for the opportunity to read and review this book.

I enjoyed this one a lot! I wasn't sure how I would feel about a MC who wasn't dominant but Kristen Bailey nailed this book. Best friends to lovers with a virgin MMC who isn't an annoying push-over! WELL DONE! I adore Ed honestly because he is so genuine.

Ed and Mia teach at the same school and started at the same time. Even though they're absolute opposites, he is quiet/reserved/tidy and she is loud/outgoing/messy, they become very good friends. One night when Mia finds out that Ed is more than just quiet and reserved, he's actually a virgin, she offers to help him get out of his own head so he can make a move on the new math teacher at school. Can you see where this is going? You definitely want to give this one a read.

I absolutely adored this book! It's a romcom that genuinely deserves to be labelled "laugh-out-loud", because I really did - many times.
I loved Mia and Ed from the moment they appeared on the page. Mia is so refreshing. She's full of fun and so uninhibited! I mean, really! She's also kind and warm and generous and thoughtful. The sort of woman you'd love as your best friend.
As for Ed - so sweet! I mean, who wouldn't love Ed? I loved how he gradually came out of his shell - and I do mean gradually - and discovered that letting go could bring him so much joy. And no, I don't just mean in the bedroom.
This book shows that opposites really can attract. Mia and Ed couldn't be more different from each other, but somehow you just know they'd be perfect for each other, and you're rooting for them to realise that the whole way through the story.
A friends with benefits novel that honestly lightened my heart and cheered me up no end. Can't wait to read what Kristen Bailey writes next!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Absolutely fantastically funny!

I have been anxiously waiting for Kristen Bailey's next book to be released!

Kristen writes characters that are so relatable, funny, charming and endearing.
I always feel so comforted by her books and this one is no exception!

Mia and Ed won my heart and I'm sure they'll win yours too!

It was such a brilliant read and I highly recommend!
It does contain a lot of sexual talk, so if that's not your thing, I don't recommend!

Thank you Kristen for another fab book! 😍❤️

Oh my god! I LOVED this, had me guffawing with laughter all the way through, then crying at the end when it all came the way it had to. I loved the characters, particularly Ed. Perfect gentleman, and I bet his abs would be just as ripped as any PE teacher -- given maybe a little rub down from a special English Lit teacher... Perfect romcom. Recommended.

Thank you #Netgally for the advanced copy!

As always, Kristen Bailey keeps the reader laughing outloud with this new rom com. I loved her previous series following the Callaghan sisters, so it was nice to see a little shoutout/references to Beth scattered throughout. When Mia decides to help out her friend Ed, who is a 28 year old version, most of us knew how this was going to play out in classic romcom style. However, there were a few twists and turns that I did not see coming! I thought all the characters were well thought out and I was so frustrated with Caitlin! Which is what the author wanted us to feel. Great hilarious read!

She does it again. Plenty of laugh out loud moments throughout the book. Imagine being a virgin and being taught about sex. That's where Ed finds himself.
Do they develop feelings for each other or is it just sex?

Well, she’s done it again! Another fantastic book from the brilliant @kristenbailey the lady who brought to life the fabulously funny Callaghan sisters series including Has Anyone Seen My Sex Life? as well as Great Sexpectations (hmm I sense a theme here 🤔😂🤪)

This story focuses on 2 teachers who have become great friends over the last few years - the slightly awkward yet adorably sweet and calm Ed who at the age of 28 is greatly lacking in sexual experiences and the confident, formidable, fun, whirlwind that is Mia.

Mia enjoys sex and I love that she unapologetically owns that.
With her experiences (good and bad!) she offers to give Ed a helping hand (pardon the pun 🤪) and

So many laugh out loud moments (won’t be looking at a fan in the same way again!!), super sex positive, dual point of view, cringeworthy moments, great story line, relatable characters with their own sensitive security hang ups and also for fans of previous Kristen books Beth and Lucy feature! If you like a spicy 🌶️ 🔥 romcom then this is a book for you!

With thanks to @netgalley @stormpublishing and @kristenbailey for sending in return for an honest review

Thank you so much to NetGalley and Storm publishing for this advance reader copy of Sex Ed by Kristen Bailey - this one came out yesterday, 7/4/23 and I HIGHLY recommend you check this one out!

This one actually made me laugh out loud multiple times. Centered around Mia and Ed, a story about how opposites attract - Ed is a 28(ish) year old virgin, and drunkenly tells Mia after a night of drinking. Mia decides that she’s going to act as a “sex therapist” to Ed and teach him everything he needs to know when he meets a girl, Caitlin, he might be interested in. The most wonderful part about this story is Ed and Mia’s friendship - I loved their interactions, and how both needed things from each other. I literally couldn’t stop reading this, it was so enjoyable. If all of Kristen Bailey’s books are this hilarious, I’m immediately going to need to read more.

Thank you again to NetGalley and the publishers for this ARC - Sex Ed is out today!

This is the 7th book by Kristen I have 4ead and I absolutely adore her style. Every book I have read has been absolutely hilarious and this one is no exception.

The prologue is excellent. It really reminded me of my first time and how awkward and disappointing it was. Kristen got this spot on.

Mia is a great character. She is very likeable and you can easily see her as one of the cool teachers when you were at school. She cares so much but also understands that life is about living. Ed reminds me of my GCSE science teacher. He's sweet and really wants his students to do well.

I absolutely loved the cameo from Beth and Lucy Callaghan. If you haven't read this series by Kristen you absolutely HAVE to. It's one of my most loved series and I'm always recommending it.

This book is the perfect tonic to a bad day. I'm currently pregnant and was reading this will 25+ weeks and it was perfect for when I'd had a tough night's sleep or a long tiring day and really needed a pick me up.

I can't thank Kristen enough for letting me part of this tour and for my copy via NetGalley. I look forward to many more laughs in the future!

Aw Ed & Mia. How I adore you both! I absolutely flew through this book as I was so engrossed in Ed & Mia's story! And while it's a very typical friends to lovers rom-com including the 3rd act misunderstanding, I didn't care. The main characters are well written & you can't help but fall for them.
There's lots of laughs & emotion in the book. And the spice is spicy but also feels like real life spice.
Definitely a good beach read.

i haven’t laughed this hard while reading a book in so long.
this felt so heartwarming and beautiful, how the friendships kept building up slowly to form thief feelings and how so naturally mia helped ed with no shame or making him feel bad about it, i love that she showed herself a little more rough on the outside but was so smush and emphatic in the inside, those people are the best people in my opinion.
the love part was so cute, i’m normally not a fan of friends to lovers but in this case it was so perfectly done that it just felt so natura how everything flowed. the banter and jokes were the best part, it was so so fun.
this is such a good read, loving and funny and so fast to read, i absolutely loved it.

thank you netgalley for proving me and arc in exchange of an honest review.
