Easily one of my top books of the year! I was completely captivated and literally didn't know which way was up. Its perfectly written with the plot constantly moving forward, nothing is what it seems and the twists and turns are genius and done to perfection. I flew through it and it was the perfect distraction on the treadmill whoch says a lot since I hate that thing with a passion. The perfect domestic thriller

Sarah's 4 year old daughter disappeared while they were on holiday.
There were sightings, and there were no leads, no suspects.
Almost 14 years later, a teenager walks into a police station stating that she is Abigail Wicks.

Sarah insists that the girl is not her daughter, that her daughter, Abigail is dead.

This is an intense, edge of the seat psychological thriller, keeping you in suspense throughout.
I was kept engaged as I was really curious to know why Sarah thought that her daughter was dead, and if she knew the abductor.

There are twists and turns and red herrings throughout, making the reader change their mind about how the story would end.
I was completely gobsmacked when I found out who was behind Abigail's return, and why.
Is there going to be a sequel to this?

The loss of a child, in any form, is devastating on family dynamics and to a relationship.

Thanks to Netgalley and the publisher for the opportunity to read this book in exchange for an honest review.
