Her Last Tear (Nikki Hunt Book 7) is an explosive hunt for two missing young girls by Stacy Green. Time is of the essence in this case. FBE Agent Nikki Hunt happens to be in a nearby area when the girls go missing, soon it is evident that this is a kidnapping but by who and why? There are almost too many leads to track down making this a heart pounding story. Just what is expected in this series.

The case is complicated, the characters are even more complex including Nikki and her co-worker, Liam. All does not end as well as you would hope but that is the reality of life which this story models. Still it is an incredible read.

If thrilling police mysteries are your go to read, you can’t go wrong with a Nikki Hunt story. I highly recommend Her Last Tear.

An ARC of the book was provided by the publisher through NetGalley which I voluntarily chose to read and review. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

Just wow!
Another action packed installment in the Nikki Hunt series! I couldn’t put the book down once I started it.
When two little girls disappear from a 4th of July firework display, Nikki Hunt is determined to find them and unravel the truth as to what happened.
What a totally gripping and emotional story.
Stacy Green always delivers a solid mystery thriller suspense story. She is one of my go to favorite authors.
Highly recommended series! I am looking forward to the next Stillwater mystery series.
Many thanks to NetGalley, Bookouture and the author for the opportunity to read this book for my honest review. All opinions expressed are my own.

This was a first time author. Read it in one day. A stunning read. Couldn't turn the pages fast enough.

What an edge of the seat thriller.

I'm going to find more books by this author. Absolutely stunning.

Great job Stacy

Nikki Hunt is the agent you’d want finding your missing child. With years of experience, personal and professional, she just knows what to do. She works every angle and turns over every stone, all while not stepping on egos. This case touches on some current news topics and sensitive issues which were handled respectfully and intelligently. Each book has me trying to read faster to reach the whodunnit, but the only connection between the seven books is Nikki and her team. You can easily read any of the books out of order and still enjoy the characters and storyline. I was happy to read an early copy provided by the publisher, leaving my honest review.

Her Last Tear by Stacy Green is the 7th book in the Nicki Hunt Series. This book opens with a bang (literally), when two little girls, Thea and Abby, go missing during a Fourth of July fireworks display. Will Nicki Hunt find the person responsible for the kidnapping before it’s too late?

Majority of this book is told from FBI Special Agent Nicki Hunt’s POV. However, there are a couple of chapters told from Abby’s POV; I really enjoyed these, and wish we would have gotten more!

Her Last Tear wasn’t my favorite in the Nicki Hunt Series. (Book 3 still holds my heart) There were a lot of characters and storylines to keep up with; and the twist came a little out of left field for me.

If you are looking for a solid crime, mystery series, pick up the Nicki Hunt Series! (I do recommend that the series be read in order)

Thank you NetGalley for the chance to read a Stacy Green novel for the first time. This book is #7 in the Nikki Hunt series and although not quite as suspenseful as some other authors, still a good read worthy of checking out the rest of the series as well.

Fast-moving hunt for two little sisters: kept me in suspense😲

4.5🌟stars
Call me led off track time and again! Her Last Tear had me guessing whodunit every few chapters and basically getting it wrong. It's an excellent police procedural with a swarm of suspects since little Thea and Abby disappear from a crowd of spectators during a fireworks show on a hot summer Minnesota night. I loved the unpredictability and how literally everyone in the girls' lives has suspicious behavior that test FBI agent Nikki Hunt and her colleagues at every turn. Even one of her team is keeping secrets. The mostly successful end to the case was a good, satisfying result and I especially liked the way it affected Chen, one of the local police officers working the case.

Thanks to Bookouture and NetGalley for sharing a complimentary advance copy of the book; this is my voluntary and honest opinion.

This is book 7 and my first read in The Nikki Hunt Series. Let’s just say I LOVED IT 😍. It can be read as a standalone but if I was to go back again I’d read from the start as there are references to previous reads and some important information that are crucial if your intending to go back to the start. This series is definitely on my radar now as I was hooked from the first chapter. Interesting storyline that leads you down many roads. Well written and thought out plot with well developed characters. It’s a fast paced read that has lots going on with many twists along the way. Loved the characters especially Agent Nikki Hunt. She’s my kind of character. I love a good police procedural storyline but I also like one that’s realistic and isn’t all ‘happily ever after’ and this one has it all. If this read is anything to go by this series is definitely worth investing your time in.

Thanks to Netgalley and Bookouture for the opportunity to read and review #HerLastTear

In the blink of an eye, your world can change forever!

Brace yourself for another thrilling ride with Detective Nikki Hunt in book 7 of the series by Stacy Green. In this installment, Stacy delivers everything readers have come to love about the series, including a gripping mystery, intense drama, well-developed characters, and a pace that will keep you glued to the pages.

The story kicks off with the sudden disappearance of two young sisters during a fireworks event that Nikki, her daughter, partner Rory and his family attend. Nikki and her team jump into action to assist in the search, but they soon realize that the case is far more complicated than they initially thought. As they follow every lead, they uncover a shocking revelation - the missing girls were not the first to vanish under such circumstances, and the clock is ticking for the team to solve the case before another young life is taken.

Thanks, NetGalley for the ARC!

I absolutely love this series by Stacy Green, she is fast becoming one of my favorite authors. Her Last Tear is the seventh in the series and did not disappoint. Each book keeps getting better than the last. There are two missing little girls that Nikki and her team are racing to find before it is too late. I had to keep reading to find out what happens and I highly recommend this book if you like a good mystery. Thank you Bookouture and Netgalley for my arc.

Loved loved loved this book! Favorite Nikki Hunt book so far. As always, the characters in this series are amazing! Nikki is so devoted to her job and helping others and that's what makes her character so great. I feel like there's been less of Lacey and Rory, so fingers crossed that we'll get more of them! Can't wait to see where things go for the cute little family.

Nikki Hunt is a character that I could continuously read about. I love her and how she connects with her coworkers while also finding dangerous predators. I have fallen in love with Stacy Green's series so much over the last couple years and will continue to pick up her books as they come out.

I am hoping to see more development in Nikki, especially regarding her romantic relationship and her relationship with her daughter in future installments. Nikki is a true type of person that is not only committed to her job, but knows that people are people and can be affected by their past and situations. She does not hold people's emotions and lives against others throughout the story.

This book follows two sisters being taken from a Fourth of July celebration but it seems like they just disappeared. Who took them? Nikki believes it has to be someone that the girls know because Thea and Abby have been taught by their mother, Britney, to not trust people outside of their circle. It comes out that Britney harbors many secrets as well as her husband, a well-known doctor that works on football players. The race is on to figure out who took the girls and why.

If you enjoy crime/mystery novels I would recommend this series along with her other ones.

4.5⭐

Her Last Tear is another cracking addition to the Nikki Hunt series.

As Nikki is enjoying a fireworks display with boyfriend Rory, daughter Lacey and Rory's family including Mark. The man wrongly imprisoned for killing Nikki's parents.

When a young mother Brittany Walker alerts a nearby volunteer to the fact her two daughters Thea and Abby have disappeared. And as a frantic search ensues. Nikki is determined to help find them.

But with the noise of the fireworks, a lack of CCTV, marinas and no witnesses. How are they ever going to find them?

And as the investigation unfolds and a body is discovered Nikki learns the Walker family are keeping huge secrets.

However, they're not the only ones. As a witness comes forward with a description that puts somebody close to Nikki at the heart of the investigation.

And as the pressure mounts, Nikki is going to have to pull out all the stops if she is to find the person responsible and bring the remaining Walker sibling home.

And with huge twists and turns and a killer I did not expect. Not to mention a confrontation that had me on the edge of my seat. Her Last Tear was a terrific and gripping read. That I'd one hundred percent recommend to others.

HER DYING TEARS BY STACY GREEN
This is the kind of crime thriller that's sooo good yet sooo sad. I really loved every single thing about this book. The characters, the storyline and crime solving were all top-notch.
I really liked how the author set the sequence for solving the crime and finding the perp. It was natural and realistic, they really turned all the stones. I didn't even know who the perp was till the end of the book. The mystery kept me turning the pages, I read it in only two sittings
This book is the seventh in the series, and I had no problem understanding the characters and their relationships with each other. I like this in a series because there is no room for confusion. I also liked the side characters, especially the officers, they did a good job in finding the perp.
Finally, I liked that the author appreciated Nurses, this is not something you see in most books. As a student Nurse, I really liked it.
This book was really, really good and I liked it. I'd recommend for every thriller lover

A mother goes to the restroom and leaves her two daughters on a blanket. When she comes back they are gone. No one remembers seeing them. There is a massive crowd and a lot is going on, but the mother is sure someone took her daughters. Turns out the mother comes from a cult, and she knows the cult members are not happy that she left the cult and the man that was chosen for her. The father of the girls seems like the perfect father and husband, but he has secrets as well, but he is not the only one.

Quite creepy subject, but the story slowly unfolds, and at times it can be a bit disturbing to read about the cult, albeit totally believable, because these cults exist. As disturbing as it is, nothing is more disturbing than some human minds, and humans who think they have a right to be above others, and a right to do what they want.

Despite it all, this is a great read, and a noteworthy add to the Nikki Hunt series, which I am a big fan of, of course. Sometimes I wonder why I enjoy reading these kinds of books so much, but I love to try to figure out the motives behind human behaviour, but I love even more to read about clever Detectives and their teams solving cases, and making the world at least a teeny tiny bit better when catching the culprits. This book fulfills both of my "why I enjoy reading Detective books" criteria, and more. Highly recommended!

This thriller begins with a bang (quite literally, at a fireworks display), and FBI agent Nikki Hunt is quickly on the trail of two young sisters - 9 year old Thea and 6 year old Abby - who disappear from the fireworks event when their mother Britney briefly takes a toilet break.

Like any mother, Britney is frantic to find her little girls. Unlike most mothers however, she is terrified that someone from the fundamentalist Mormon cult she escaped a decade ago has come to take her children. But this turns out to be a dead end.

So where are Thea and Abby? A pink backpack belonging to one of the children is found, the only clue to the direction they took.

With all the time they have already lost, and the false or flimsy leads the authorities must sort through, can Nikki find the girls in time? Who has taken these two young girls - and just as importantly, why?

This book started on the edge of your seat and ended on it. There was action throughout it all and I love that this author doesn't get trapped in miniscule details or focusing too much on the Detectives personal life. I was surprised to see the Mormon culture included but lately the community has been a hot topic in pop culture so I liked it. It was very well written and I liked that we didn't know who took the girls until the end.
