Really enjoyed the au tbh its style of writing and found it very suspenseful with lots of action and drama. The chemistry between Aubrey and grave robber made me binge this book!
I love a possessive MMC on paper and the author delivered!

GRAVE ROBBER is the first instalment in Skye McNeil’s contemporary, adult TWISTED BROTHERHOOD MC erotic, MC romance series. This is Twisted Brotherhood MC president Rhett ‘Grave Robber’ Carter, and journalist Aubrey Baldwin’s story line.

Told from omniscient dual third person perspectives (Grave Robber and Aubrey) GRAVE ROBBER follows Aubrey Baldwin as she digs for information about a dirty politician but Aubrey never expected to come face to face with the Twister Brotherhood MC, a group of men possibly on the take with the assistant mayor Joseph Yates but all is not as it seems when Aubrey will discovers Yates’ ties to the MC are deadly and dark. Enter MC president Grave Robber Carter, the man with whom Aubrey will fall in love. What ensues is the building but reluctant relationship between Aubrey and Grave Robber, and the potential fall-out as our heroine is targeted by the man who destroyed Grave Robber’s life.

The world building reveals the horrendous loss of Grave Robber’s wife and child, a loss he blames on a corrupt politician. Vowing never to ever again fall in love, Grave Robber is blindsided with the appearance of journalist Aubrey Baldwin, the woman who would break through the wall of ice surrounding his heart but Aubrey is about to push all of Grave Robber’s button, placing herself in the direct line of fire, at every opportunity

The relationship between Aubrey and Grave Robber begins as a one-night stand. Weeks later, Aubrey returns with unexpected and unwanted news, and finds herself a reluctant victim of Grave Robber’s ire. Grave Robber wants nothing to do with love or family-been there, lost that- but something about Aubrey draws Grave Robber in. The $ex scenes are intimate, erotic and seductive without the use of over the top, sexually graphic language and text.

There is a large ensemble cast of colorful secondary and supporting characters. We are introduced to several members of the Twister Brotherhood MC, an MC of former US military veterans: Bone, Knuckles, Joker, LD, Huck and his old lady Lana; several members of the Redwood Rebels MC including Jules Gasparovich; assistant Mayor Joseph Yates, and Napa Valley millionaire Grant Lodge. The requisite evil has many faces.

GRAVE ROBBER is a story of betrayal and vengeance, murder and revenge, power and control, acceptance and love, forgiveness and moving forward. The premise is dramatic and intense; the romance is provocative; the characters are desperate, determined and charismatic but our heroine is often TSTL, placing herself and the members of the Twister Brotherhood in a precarious position.

I received this Arc from Netgalley. Thank you for the chance to read this book early. My review is honest and 100% my own thoughts about the book.

This book is the first within the Twisted brotherhood motorcycle club. One point of being able to be a member is being ex-military. Grave robber is the MC’s president who has lost his wife and unborn child killed in a car accident that was ruled as an accident. However Grave believes differently. He vows to never fall in love or have another child. Audrey is a writer for a tabloid gossip paper, While on a lead she runs into Grave and a spicy one night stand turns more.

I loved the story that Skye McNeil has created. The creativity of the different characters that were created during the story were well written making the book hard o put down. I had actually read this book in one sitting. I am excited to read more from this author. I loved all the spice and struggles that Grave and Audrey had for their relationship. Totally addicting.

Grave Robber is a solid motor cycle romance with a good storyline. The main character, Grave Robber lost his wife and unborn baby years ago and swore to never love another woman or have another child. He doesn't count on Aubry coming into his life and getting pregnant. But when it happens, he finds himself confused by his feelings.

Not only does this book have a compulsively readable romance, there's also a good side story with a villain that keeps you turning the pages. Of course, for me the relationship between Grave Robber and Aubry was pretty much everything. There were times that her decisions made me a bit crazy but I still really enjoyed the book.

Thank you to NetGalley for this early read.

Who doesn’t love a good MC story with a sexy rough around the edges president trying to find out who killed his wife and unborn child? This was such a great read it had sex, love, gang fight, and so much more. Aubrey was this magical being that forced her way in to Graver Robbers life just a bit too much because she ends up getting pregnant. Though this isn’t what each wants she is okay with going about this on her own and that’s when everything spirals and both their lives and the child’s is in danger. I am excited to what’s next in this series.

Y’all are sleeping on the pregnancy trope.

There is nothing I love more than a big, gruff man being all soft and protective of a woman and their baby.

This book has all the tropes. Hates everyone but her, veteran, MC Prez, pregnancy and a little bit of mystery woven in.

What I really liked about this was that the MMC was protective and possessive but still listened to the FMC, which is sometimes lacking in MC books.

I’m really excited to continue on with this series, and I’m also hoping there’s a book for Huck and Lana 🤞

This is my first time reading this author. This book kicks off a new series about an MC in CA. Grave Robber is the Prez and has good control of his club. His heart--not so much.

Aubry meets Grave Robber as part of her investigative journalism job. They hit it off well but know that it is a one time thing. Or is it??

We get a fair bit of MC life in this one. Great set up for books to come. Interesting side characters. I look forward to reading this author again in the future.

Grave Robber by Skye McNeil is book one in the Twisted Brotherhood MC series. The story focuses on the characters Grave Robber, a man with a past who still seems to be living out his trauma of the death of his wife and child. Enter Aubry Baldwin a gossip columnist who comes across a juicier story when she overhears a conversation from MC members. From there, Aubry is in Grave Robber’s sights and even though they have an instant attraction, when Aubry falls pregnant, Grave Robber’s feelings become emotional and at times harsh.

Whilst Aubry is on a hunt for the truth, it also puts her in the crosshairs of some dangerous men, and Grave Robber will stop at nothing to protect Aubry, even if it is from himself. There were moments in this book where there were some shades of grey on how Grave Robber treated Aubry (this could be due to his past), and Aubry just seemed to take it. But overall, this was a good start to a new series with an MC who are definitely on the wrong side of the law.

If you like strong alpha males, with little moral code, feisty women and some actions, then this is the book for you.

ARC received for a fair, honest and sometimes long review. All opinions are my own. 😊

I loved this book, I couldn't put it down. Grave Robber went through something no one should had to, my heart really went out to him. He deserved more and I'm glad he got it with Aubry. Aubry was so independent and bad*ss, it was awesome to watch her with those big and scary guys, I loved that. She was her own person and didn't let anyone stop her for being herself and doing what she wanted. I liked how Grave Robber tried to fight what he felt but couldn't help himself. I really liked her and their baby and trying to deny it was fruitless. I loved all the side characters and really can't wait for more on the other men

This was my first book by Skye McNeil and I really enjoyed it. There were a few things times that I had a hard time believing would actually happen in a real MC, such as knowing who killed the MC president's family, while the same person was threatening (and then trying to kill) the current love interest and the club being so passive about it.

Other than that, it was a pretty good read!

I received a copy of Grave Robber through NetGalley. This was an accidental pregnancy with a badass MC president and a nosy journalist. Grave Robber and Aubry were captivating characters (even when Grave Robber was a douche canoe and Aubry was being a hard headed heifer 😂). All of Grave Robber's red flags looked green to me. And hello spice! 🌶🌶This is a book that you can devour in one sitting. I need the second book ASAP!

Grave and Aubry
After losing his wife and daughter grace robber became a shelf of a man but a purpose to avenge them and put the person who kill them. When she meets woman who what to write a story their attraction is strong for only one night what changes everything for him.
Aubry is a writer and looking for a story when she overhears a conversation between bikers and she follow the story and start to investigate which lead her to grave robber and now her life is in danger and her only hope is to go back to him for protection, the only thing he doesn't want nothing to do with her and the surprise baby.
I love how even with his heart broken he open up to her and he start to feel for her.
I received an arc from netgalley for my honest review.

Grave Robber by Skye McNeil

The two main characters, Grave Robber/ Rhett Carter and Aubry Baldwin were likable, had chemistry and had lots of steamy sex. I felt myself wanting to skip to those parts. Aubry’s behavior didn’t exactly scream good girl but Grave Robber looked his part in description and his recent history given. If you are good with not knowing history of the MCs and jumping into the present action then this is the story for you. Why was Aubry reckless and Grace Robber romantic, who knows but a great ride.

3.5 out of 5 stars

Enjoyable book reminding us that love is out there for us that can change our lives. One who lost love and another who was still searching. Grave Robber (Rhett) lost his family and vowed never to have another family but Aubrey has other ideas. Skye has given us danger, suspense, lots of action and even more romance between Aubrey and Rhett. We are brought into the world of MC with this new series and has me ready for her next book in the series.

To start, this book had a lot of action. It’s super fast paced and tells a very fun story. Grave Robber follows the story of a MC president named Grave Robber and the FMC Aubrey. This is written in 3rd person, and while it took a little to get used to that, I felt that the author did really well with this perspective. In my opinion the story started off a little flat but then it really picked up! The characters felt real and personable. There was quite a bit of smut, but it did fall short in description.

Arc review

Grave Robber is out to seek revenge for the people responsible for un-aliving his daughter and wife.
He made a vow to never fall in love and start a family with anyone else.
That is until he meets Aubrey.. Will Grave Robber protect them without history repeating itself?..

This book is written by two POV. (Love, love, love!)
There are some dark aspects to the book. Contains some graphic fighting and spicy scenes.
Overall I did enjoy this book just the right amount of storyline pact in to keep me hooked. I did find it was slightly predictable but others may not. If you enjoy spicy mixed with alpha male bikers, I would highly recommend this book.

Will definitely read the rest of the books in the Twisted Brotherhood MC series.

Want to thank the author and NetGalley for this ARC.

If you’re new to motorcycle club (MC) romance novels, this is a great book to dip your toe in. It’s got everything you need to make a good MC story. Found family vibes, spicy, pregnant trope, relationships within the club (I liked Bones), and of course the president, aka Grave Robber. I enjoyed Grave Robbers history. Both Aubry and Grave had great chemistry. Now here is what stuck out to me. Any time Grave Robber was mentioned, the author wrote his entire name. Never a nickname like prez, Grave, Rob 😂, robber, etc… it was always Grave Robber. A few guys got nicknames from their nicknames. Honestly no idea why that stuck out so much to me. But it’s a solid 3⭐️.

This one is stunning in how beautifully it is executed, with all the layers to the characters, the twists and turns in all its various subplots. I loved so much about it - so so so good! I will write more when my book hangover lets up. It is AMAZING!!.

It was a good story but unfortunately it was a bit predictable. I feel like they fell in love too quickly so it took me out of the plot a little bit. It just felt too fast and too rushed.
