Cameron is hooking up with the most popular girl in school, but no one knows. Cameron is the stereotypical geek, obsessed with anime and not afraid to express in in his school club G.A.N.U (Geeks And Nerds United). But to stay with Karla he has to try and fit in with the popular group in school. The problem is, groups don't mix, especially not the geeks and the popular group, the Caravan. Cameron has also been spending more time with the newest G.A.N.U member, Mackenzie and despite their constant bickering, Cameron can be himself around her. But he has to decide how much he is willing to change to be accepted by the Caravan and if that's even what he really wants.

I thought this was a good read. I don't usually read YA romance because of how cliche it can be. Romance is usually predictable and this was no different but I did enjoy the countless anime and Pride and Prejudice references. It's hard for me to review this book because I loved the little elements that brought it together and the ending was sweet. I thought the author really wrapped it up nicely and there was even a little plot twist that I didn't see coming.
But there is a reason I don't always read romance. It's just not for me. That being said I loved the concept I was invested in this book but just found it not cliche but... cringey maybe? Just some of the dialogue and descriptions. Anyway this wasn't for me but I really do think YA romance fans would love this!
It has great POC representation and casual queerness with some side characters, anime, manga and pride and prejudice references plus high school cliques.

Thank you so much to Harlequin Australia and Netgallet for a copy of the book, this did not have an impact on my review.
