Freida does it again!!! I could not put this down. The way she is able to make you like and dislike characters and still need to know where the story goes is addicting. I thought I figured it out but I should know by now that you never know where her journey will take you! Highly recommended!!!

One of my favorite authors of the year. I read the housemaid and never looked back. I just read book after book of hers. What an awesome author she is. And this book is no different. It’s such a good book. Thank you for letting read the ARC.

Next to The Housemaid and Never Lie, this is one of the BEST and most BRILLIANT books that I’ve read by Freida. You love Natalie, you hate her, you love her again. Dawn is confusing, you feel for her, you hate her, you feel for her again. The men in Nat’s life are confusing and you’re rooting for them in your own way, while also trying to solve a murder. What will happen? Who is murdered? And who will be next? Who did it? Who will take the fall for it? This comes out on Tuesday! Be the FIRST in line for this amazing book!

She did it again!! Always kept me guessing. When I thought I knew who it was, as usual, I was completely wrong!

You know why I love Freida McFadden’s books? Because they’re so easy to get through, very entertaining and the plot twists always manage to surprise me. I only recently discovered her books but then ended up reading four in the span of about ten days. So I was very excited when I got an advanced copy of her newest release The Coworker.
Just like her other books, this one was a very quick and fun read. If you’ve got some time on your hands, you can easily read this one in a single sitting. However, the reveal in this book didn’t actually surprise me too much. I had my theories and I turned out to be at least partly correct. There were a few details I didn’t guess beforehand, so I definitely still enjoyed reading this book but her other books I’ve read were definitely a bit better than this one.

This book was yet ANOTHER book I COULD NOT PUT DOWN. Once again, Freida knocks it out of the park. This book is about two co- workers, a beautiful popular outgoing woman and an awkward woman with an obsession of turtles that have a history even though they just met. Trust me in this one- TRUST NO ONE.

Frieda is a master of her craft. She knows how to keep us guessing. She gives us just enough to make us think we know what is going to happen and then she pulls the rug out from under our feet. The Coworker was unpredictable and had me hooked from the start. I couldn't put it down and finished it in one night.

Looking for a book you can’t put down? This is it! Loved his book! Had me guessing until the end! And wondering about MY co-workers! Natalie is concerned when her co worker Dawn doesn’t show up for work. Dawn is meticulous with her schedule and never shows up late, always eats lunch at the same time, etc. Natalie goes looking for Dawn after she misses an important meeting at work. Nothing is what it seems! I don’t want to give any spoilers except to say read this…you won’t be disappointed. Thank you to net galley and the publisher for an ARC of this book

Freida has done it again! 👏 The twists and turns were everything I had hoped for when it comes to a Freida book. Once again I thought I had it all figured out and bam...wrong! I could not put this book down and I am already ready for the next Freida book! Kudos to you Frieda McFadden on another amazing page turner!!!

The Coworker by new to me author F. McFadden, published by Sourcebooks, PPenPress, is a mystery thriller of its finest.
2 female maincharacters, workplace story, gives all thze feels.
Dawn Shiff is an accountant, a bit ocd til trhe day she doesn't show up at her work.
Her coworker Natalie Farrell picks up her phone, hearing help me and a dropping call.
So she's off investigating.
The story has a great pace, the storyline is exquisit, and the ned, I couldn't have dreamed of this ending.
The story jumps between past and present, what I'm not a great fan of, but here it's very fitting. A fantastic read.

Wow! There should be a warning label.
Read The Coworker at your own risk!! Be prepared to ignore all adult responsibilities and stay up all night because you have to finish it in one sitting. It did not disappoint!
Thank you, Freida McFadden, Poison Press Publishing, and NetGalley for an advanced copy in return for an honest review.

Freida never disappoints!!
This by far has been my favorite books of her. I have read about 5 books of her this month & this one just had me in a loop!

This was such a fast-paced thriller! I sat down and started reading and I couldn’t put it down until it was finished. I am always shocked at the endings. I I never guess what is going to happen in the end. I can’t wait to read more from Freida!
Thank you NetGalley and Poisoned Pen Press for the arc of this book.

Freida McFadden writes relentlessly paced novels and The Coworker is no different. I had whiplash trying to figure out what the hell was going on, and I’m not sure I’ve ever read characters I’ve hated more, but I do feel like McFadden has a knack for writing frustrating characters. But this is a tale as old as time- revenge- served up in a wild way.
If you like McFadden’s other books, you’ll like The Coworker. If you want a fast-paced thriller, you’ll love this.
Many thanks to Poisoned Pen Press and NetGalley for the digital ARC in exchange for an honest review. My opinions are my own.

I am a Freida fan so I was happy when I was granted the ARC. Unfortunately, another reader posted a spoiler in a Facebook group so I knew (for the most part) what was coming. Usually, I can't figure out the twists, but this time, it was a given. I still enjoyed the story though! I rated down 1 star because there was just TOO much about the turtles.

As aways with a Freida book, I may guess one or two things right but there’s always a twist or two I don’t see coming. Thank you Freida for another thriller that wasn’t boring and not at all predictable with an interesting plot. I read this one is one day. Thank you to the publishers for this advanced copy in exchange of an honest review.

The Coworker had me hooked from the first page! The story starts at an health supplement office when a coworker doesn’t show up for work. But this isn’t just any coworker of Natalie’s, this is Dawn. The unique, routine-oriented accountant with a burning passion for turtles. Things spiral out of control and had me second guessing my own theories as I read! I also loved the inclusion of the emails throughout the book. Every message had me wondering how a grown adult could act the way Natalie did. I was truly convinced that I had the ending figured out but I was so wrong! I flew through part two because I was anxious to know what was going to happen. I am a big fan of Freida McFadden and this novel is a big example of why!

Frieda is back and she has done it again! I couldn’t put this down!
The coworker is a fast paced, page turning must read! You read from both main characters point of view and you get to see how screwed up they both are. Dawn appears to be a shy socially awkward coworker of the much loved and beautiful Natalie. But are these women truly as they appear? Dawn doesn’t show up for work one morning which is very out of character for her and Natalie decides to stop by her house to see if she is ok. The back door is unlocked and there is a lot of blood found in the house, but is Natalie to blame for Dawns disappearance? What happened and why are the cops trying to blame her? As you read along secrets are revealed and twists are thrown at you to keep you hooked until the end!
Thank you NetGalley, the publisher and the incredible author for my ARC!

Good ole Freida! As always very entertaining & silly WITH A TWIST! The Coworker was not my fav of her books and didn’t really do it for me. (and I have read them all!) Even the twist was a little ho hum, didn’t see it coming but it wasn’t shocking. Decent ending all wrapped up in a perfect bow. Of course that left me with questions… but it’s just a silly book for entertainment purposes. I am ready for the next book!!
Seriously tho, if Natalie was a real person I would say “GET A F*CKING LAWYER!” 4 times she asked herself if she should hire a lawyer. YES, immediately YES.
I never want to hear about turtles again. End of discussion.
PS. Freida, I splurged for a Kindle, automatic page turner and stand for the release of this book and then got early access!

I am so thankful to have been chosen to get to read this book before it came out. Freida is my absolute favorite author. I enjoyed this book so much as a mom that has had a child that has gone through bullying this book definitely brought out my deepest fears as a parent. I am glad my child was removed from that school and is the happiest he has ever been. This book was so great I was back and forth on who to believe and was unsure who to like and root for! As always I had no idea how it would end! This book was perfect just like all her other ones I have read. I can’t wait for her next book! I know it will be just as amazing!
