Loveable Willa meets ex cop. Instant attraction but his past is catching up with him. That puts her in danger. Wonderful group of friends help protect her. A bit of mystic storyline too. Interesting twist between the two stories. The danger, the tingling of new romance, and the magic makes for an interesting story. I liked it.

This was a cute feel good book with a little bit of everything. Saltwater Cures is a charming, yet complex cozy mystery with a unique setting and interesting characters. The paranormal elements are barely-there early on, but they blossom beautifully by the end of the book. When Willa Daniels meets Nick Ryan, there’s an instant connection that feels like kismet, but Nick has a dark past that throws the small-town life of Willa and her circle of friends into chaos. This story has mystery, drama, romance, friendship, family, and so much more. Every character comes to life as the plotline progresses and seemingly innocuous bits become important. Nothing is filler. I’ am so happy that this book is a series because I will be reading more of them and look forward to getting to know the characters and see how they grow.

I received a free copy of this book from NetGalley in exchange for my honest review. I like paranormal books but I wanted more from this book. I think parts were rushed kind of thrown together and was left wanting more. More build up more information, more chemistry. I'm actually interested in book 2 to see if there is any more history if it fills in any of my blanks.

The ultimate feel good paranormal mystery book!

This book brings the brain spinning “who don’t it”and “why is this happening”. It is the kind of book you want to curl up with for a good comfort read with your favourite drink!

This story follow Willa a caring lighthearted sunshine who loves to make people happy by helping and healing them anyway she can and Nick are cautious, “I don’t trust” guy who doesn’t want to let anyone close to him until one night where he runs into a wild women… LITERALLY RUNS INTO HER 😂

It’s the ultimate grumpy sunshine and I just absolutely love them both! Jen has a great writing style that really brings your imagination alive and I can see and hear Nicks sighs of frustration/ resignation when Willa tells him she won’t lock her door.. but oh how he understands her ( the end bit and what he does for her melts my heart!)

This book was honestly one of my favourite little paranormal mysteries I’ve read this year not only does Jen have you guessing all about Nick and what he is up too but also an over arching theme of strange happening to the residents of Orca Cove. I’m really excited to see where this series continues because I’ve questions & lots of them!

&Yes! There’s Orcas but could they be something more and are they here to help or hinder Orca Coves Residents 👀🌊🐋

There's a lot of potential in this cozy paranormal story and I liked the characters. I think that some more development of the world building would help.

Thanks to NetGalley and the publishers for providing me with an ARC of this book in exchange for an honest review.

Saltwater Coves is a magic based mystery novel, with romantic undercurrents running throughout. I enjoy a magic story, this one was just a little far fetched for me.
