This book starts with a little boy, telling his dad what he’s going to do when he’s a man. It’s all stuff that is very stereotypical and is heavy with toxic masculinity. However, the dad uses this as a teaching opportunity to say that doesn’t make you a man. This is what makes you a man. This book was lovely, and the illustrations are the best part. However, I think it could’ve gone a little further. May be more examples of what really being a man means. But overall, it works and is well done.
