I didn't realize this was the second book in a series, and that's totally my fault. The synopsis has that clearly listed. But I had a hard time following this book because it's a little off the wall anyway, but not having the context of the first book made it difficult to follow.

It's a very weird and unique book, and for some reason, I can't stop thinking about it or wanting to read more.
This is the second book in a sci-fi dystopian trilogy, with an original premise that should be embraced without a lot of further information. It's a good book to be enravelled by every page.
Something that caught my eye was the descriptive language and the tone that it acquired.
Not for everyone, but for every reader who likes a challenge or is looking for something different.

After trying to read this after putting it down a few times I will not be returning. The synopsis of this book drew me in but after trying to read it I feel as if it's just not the book for me.

I received a free copy of this book from the Author, Publisher, NetGalley for my honest review. A great second book where we continue to follow Yang Wei who is a patient in a mental hospital. This takes place many years later and Yang Wei, still in the hospital which is on a ship, and a group of others explore this hospital the find many of it’s hidden secrets. Can Yang Wei make heads or tails of what he is learning in? Read to find out!

Exorcism took too long to get started and dragged onward with over descriptive language. I didn’t realize that this was part of a trilogy, but that didn’t impact my understanding of the book.

Thanks to NetGalley and Amazon Crossing for an ARC of this book.

Exorcism by Han song is the second book in the Hospital series and although I didn’t read Hospital before I was even done with chapter 3 I bought the Kindle book and the audio. I mean if this is the second book I can’t imagine how awesome the first one is and can’t wait to find out. This book makes no sense in all kinds of sense Ling Way is a patient at the hospital, but it’s not your average hospital medicine is dispensed by robots the hospital is guarded by security robots he has his fellow patients who had the strangest names like his best friend in the hospital fistula they don’t have any doctors who care for them but the doctors that are there or in mortal and then my opinion lunatics it’s not ever I get more hospital in the sense that it’s also a hospital ship run by big data and computers and that’s it I know this doesn’t sound like a great summary but I don’t know how to convey how weird and strange this book is it is awesome I loved it and I can’t wait to read the first one which I am going to do as soon as I am done writing my review. is it a dream a reality or is Lange even awake? If you like books that make you feel like you’ve taken LSD are you like falling down a rabbit hole then you definitely love this book I certainly did I wish I could describe it better it’s laying ways life in the hospital and all that in sues. I want to thank Amazon crossing and net galley for my free Ark copy please forgive any mistakes as I am blind and dictate my review.

Deep, somber, interesting book. It feels like the backstory for a video game, and I mean that in the best possible way.

I really found the description of Exorcism very intriguing and had high hopes that this would be a book I'd love, however I didn't and it fell quite flat. Part of the issue was this is a dystopian and I'm not a fan of it.

Thank you to Netgalley and the publisher for the ARC. All opinions are my own.

I just wanted to start by saying thank you to NetGalley for the e-arc of this book. All of my thoughts and opinions are my own.

"It was a true case of misery loves company, and they were, quite literally, all in the same boat, like polar opposites repelling each other, members of the same family stuck in a cycle of eternal strife, with nothing any of them could do about it."

This book is the second from the author in a trilogy. It is a science fiction/dystopian storyline.

What I liked about this book:
I liked the premise of this book I found it interesting from the start. The author did a good job of making this a weird/whacky read. Each chapter had its own sentence title that drew you in as a reader. I also found it interesting the lack of women involved in the storyline, it was mostly old men and other creatures, (this was intentional to make a point).

What I didn't like about this book:
The descriptive language while interesting I felt that it dragged out, and the book could have been wrapped up into a shorter version that would have been easier to stay focused on. It took me longer to finish as I kept having to take breaks.

Exorcism is the second book in the Hospital trilogy. I liked the first one mostly because I thought it was a cool concept and enjoyed some parts of it. There was lots of criticism of it but I did think it was a good book, even with its flaws.

This was such an upgrade from the first book. There were so many more consistent characters with distinct characteristics, so many less seemingly useless and boring monologues, fewer lists, and so much more plot. I really liked this book, though so parts were long and I skim read this book was a lot less tedious.

Thank you to Netgalley and Amazon Crossing for the e-arc in exchange for an honest review.

Have to say, i was wrong to get into the book without reading the first one of the series. Partly my fault bcus now im just very confused of the story in the second book. There are lots of troubling and weird elements in here that I'm not a huge fan of. Will have to reread it again once i read the first book so i will have a better understanding of the world.

I had enjoyed Hospital by the same author and glad I got to read the sequel. It had everything that I was looking for from the first book. Han Song does a great job in continuing the story and was written perfectly. It does everything that I was hoping for and the characters felt like this was suppose to. I can’t wait for more from Han Song.
