Thank you NetGalley for the opportunity to listen to and review this audio arc!
The plot twists in this book were WILD!! This story that spans over a decade follows Andrea and Jace who promise each other forever, but everything in life is tearing them apart. I can't say much more than that but there is sort of a love triangle, kind of grumpy/sunshine, kind of childhood friends to lovers. This book comes out on July 25th! I highly recommend it!

Warning for the casual reader, this is not a romcom. Sure there were a few cute/funny moments but they are all greatly overshadowed by themes of grief, difficult family dynamics, and betrayal. I urge all readers to look up TWs for this book as there are mentions of suicided, ODs, and physical abuse.
Jace and Andi are driven apart for years but always manage to find a way back to each other. I have mixed feelings toward the book, while I liked the characters very much, the pacing of the story made it a difficult read for me. I found myself not really invested in the plot until about half way through when I felt the story finally had a direction. However, I liked The Space Between very much in spite of this, because Andi and Jace had such great chemistry which really came through in the audiobook narration. I would definitely recommend this if you are looking for a character driven emotional roller coaster of a book.
Thank you NetGalley & W.W. Crown for an ARC copy and the chance to give my honest review.

This is a great book about love, in many ways, shapes, and forms. Love for parents, children, siblings, the family that is not related by blood, friends, and of course lovers. I also love how the writer deals with loving multiple people at the same time and loving some people at the wrong time.
The characters are lovable and their problems are so understandable, even considering the contrast between their lives.
I listened to the audio for this book, and the narrators also did a great job showing the characters' emotions in their speaking.
I recommend to anyone!
Thanks to netgalley and the author for sending me the eARC in exchange for an honest review

“What’s your lyric?”
Andi and Jace are the epitome of opposite attract. Andi is from a high society rich family in New York and Jace comes from a broken home, living on the breadline from the Bronx. They meet when Jace is playing music with his brothers and their band in Central Park. Jace gets into some trouble with bullies and Andi saves the day, it is instant attraction. As love blossoms, secrets are unearthed as Andi comes to reveal to Jace that she isn’t in fact Andi but Andrea, living the rich girl life in high society and not fully who he thought she was.
In a whirlwind romance, Andi gives up her high society life. But when it all comes crashing down, she moves back to New York to her family. 8 years later, time has moved on. But do feeling move on with time? What happens in the time they aren’t together - in The Space Between?
I’ll not lie, it took me a good 40% of this book to actually get into it properly. I had both the ebook and the audiobook. I started with the audiobook which I just couldn’t gel with at all, I think it was the voice actors tbh. It just wasn’t for me. After giving it a few days I jumped back into the ebook and persevered. I’m not a real lover of young love romances at all but I did enjoy this (eventually).
Pros -
* multiple POV
* Opposites attract
* Second chance love
* Enemies to lovers
* Emotive writing
* Smidge of 🌶️
* Great character development!
Cons -
* slow slow start
* It’s really quite long imo
* Huge trigger warnings (please check Goodreads prior to reading)
* Slight serendipitous that could be plausible (but not awful I promise)
I’m a mood reader and I think I would have loved this book so much more if I had read it at the right time. But saying that, give it a read. The pros really do our weight the cons with this and I hope to re read it one day!!
Thanks to @netgalley for giving me an advanced copy of this book in return for an honest review. (The audiobook is available instantly on Netgalley btw)

Really enjoyed Ready's "French Holiday", so I was thrilled when I got approved to review and ARC of her upcoming release.
Andrea and Jace could not be more different. Andrea, the darling daughter of one of the wealthiest businessman in bustling New York City. Jace, a musical prodigy born on the wrong side of the tracks with his sights set on fame taking him away from this life.
For Andrea and Jace, it was love at first site. Destined to be together forever, they could over come any obstacle placed before them, as long as they did it together. If only life was fair and didn't have other plans.
This was my second book by this author and I am definitely becoming a fan. I really enjoyed that this was a very different kind of love story than the ones I've read. It felt more realistic, more hopeful, just more. Despite the characters being more well-off than the average Joe, it was the personalities and outcomes that made you relate to the story. Admittedly, when I first started the story I said "Great, another instalove billionaire romance". I could not be more wrong. This story has it all and I loved it. I cant list the tropes without giving spoilers away. Just know that you will not be disappointed if you pick this one up for those feel goods,
Will definitely keep my eyes out for Ready's next one!!

The Space Between is 100 percent my favorite book for July. It was a coming-of-age romance that was emotional, heartbreaking and left me all warm inside at the end. James Fouhey and Rachel F. Hirsh's narration in the audiobook was engaging and adherence my experience. The only thing I wish for and I understand it would have made the book longer but I wish I got more of Jace’s life journey. I enjoyed seeing how Andy navigated family, love, and the changes that come with life.
I recommend this book to everyone especially if you love heartwarming and riveting love stories.

Thank you NetGalley and W.W. Crown Publishing for the advanced audio copy of The Space Between, by Sarah Ready. This is the first book I have read by Sarah Ready and I was blown away by the emotion in this book. I am typically a thriller reader and even though this story was more in the romance genre, I still felt the twists and turns, and anticipation in Andy and Jace’s story. My heart was racing when the character’s heart was racing, I was sad and angry when the characters were sad and angry. I liked the way the author told the story in both Jace and Andy’s point of view. The narrators did a great job! A life love story that is a must read!

I really have no idea if I rated this book correctly. This book made me want to scream and throw the book across the room then call everyone I know to read it so that they can experience the same pain as I’ve endured over the last two days. I’ve really enjoyed Sarah Ready’s writing in the past, but this book was so full of emotion that I’m in awe. The book was also painful. This book could have been named Miscommunication, since that was at the core. It was like Jace and Andi kept barely missing each other, and it was so infuriating, but I just couldn’t look away.
I loved Jace and Andi’s love story. Their first chance at love reminded me a lot of Billy and Camilla in Daisy Jones and the Six if Billy were a better guy. I loved hearing both of their perspectives and Jace is the guy you hope that all famous rock stars truly are.
Without too much spoiling, the second half of the book had me wanting to scream. I was so frustrated, but not in a bad way. If you want epic love story, that’s definitely this book!
I also grew to really like Reid. While I don’t exactly like what ended up happening with him, I appreciate how this book has a lot of different layers as to what love is.
I also loved the audiobook narrators. Andi’s narrator really reflected the hope she had in the first half of the book and I loved the shift in the second half where she sounded more aged and wary. I thought that the Jace narrator sounded like someone who had lived a hard life but was making it through.
Also, this book needs so many content warnings…

The Space Between was so much more than I expected.
First off, it's classed as a new adult book. I am far beyond that in age but loved the book anyway.
Andi, from a wealthy family and Jace, from a struggling family meet as teenagers. Their story is told throughout many years.
I loved the main characters and was rooting for them. I even liked some of the not so nice characters that in another book I would not. There are a few who I loved to hate as well.
This one has all the feels. An emotional roller coaster for sure. It was very different from the thrillers I normally read and was a welcome change of pace. It makes me want to read more of this type of book.
I listened to the audio version of the book. I liked the two narrators performing the male and female points of view. They did a fantastic job.
This one is best read without knowing much about it.
Thanks to netgalley and W.W. Crown for the great listen.

The Space Between was beautiful on audio and kindle version bringing two very different love stories to life. Andrea and Jace meet by chance one afternoon in New York and begin a whirlwind romance that takes them both by surprise. Andrea comes from a wealthy family and lacks for nothing except love from her mother. Jace is an orphan being brought by his older brothers but musically talented and surrounded by the love and support of his family. Andrea and Jace think their love is invincible but it gets put through tests and people they trust interfere and separate them. This story is special allowing you to fall in love with two different love stories.

I really enjoyed this story. I couldn't stop listening! The storyline was not what I had expected, especially the second part. I really enjoyed it and thought that it wasn't your typical predictable romance.

This is one of the books that I would totally enjoy as much as I did if I had to read/ listen to it again, even if most of the book I felt heartbroken and I was rooting for the main characters.
I loved the characters, the story, the twists and even the voices of both people who narrated the book.
And yes, the book it is cheesy, but if you don't like cheesy books I won't recommend it, otherwise, if you do enjoy cheesy reads - I couldn't recommend it enough.
Not last, I would like to thank NetGalley, the author and the publisher for the opportunity to listen to this book before being released in exchange for my honest review.

Jace and Andy meet at 17, and they instantly know they are "it" from each other. He lives in a really bad section of The Bronx and his parents were murdered in a bodega robbery. Her father is an uber wealthy real estate mogul. They couldn't be more different. This book follows their journey from 17 to about 33.
<spoiler>I have a confession. I fell in love. With Reed! Oopsy. I think we were meant to, a little bit, but I didn't connect with Jace all that much from the very beginning. Reed was it for me(well, not at 17). I cried SOOOO hard at the end of Andrea and Reed. </spoiler>
Spoilers aside, parts of this were perfect. I cried. So much.
I listened to the audiobook. The book is told from dual POVs and James Fouhey narrates Jace's chapters, Rachel F. Hirsch narrates Andrea's chapters. I was nearly immediately annoyed with James Fouhey's narration. Jace's family is musical and his parents love jazz, especially Louis Armstrong. Louis's name appears dozens of times throughout the book. And James Fouhey mispronounces it every time. I always wonder how this gets past editors/producers. If a random word is mispronounced- especially an uncommon one- it is mildly amusing. But when a famous musician's name, one who is integral to the story, is mispronounced repeatedly, then I have issues. It is a major pet peeve. I never did really care for Jace, and I wonder if that wasn't partly because I was annoyed with the narrator.
I received an audio copy in exchange for an honest review.

I absolutely adored this audiobook, the narration was excellent and the emotions throughout were an absolute rollercoaster, I may even have sobbed at the end.

I absolutely adore Sarah Ready's writing style - it's full of emotion while also maintaining a light and warm feel. I expected this to be a fluffy romance, but it wound up being so much more!
Thoughts:
-I loved Jace's dynamic with his brothers and the rest of the band and how they all let the morals of Jace’s parent's live on through them
-Andrea was just a solid character. She was technically a cliché rich girl running away with a "bad boy,” but she felt like much more than that. She had substance and heart throughout the entire book
-The emotion between Andrea and Jace was such a rollercoaster. At times it was fun, young love, while other times, it felt bigger than them. But in both extremes, it was beautifully written
-Ready crafted a compelling story of two soulmates with a lot of trauma being brought together only to be torn apart and forced to find their way back to each other
-The twists toward the end made me unsure how it was going to end but as always Ready wrapped things up beautifully
This was a beautiful story of love, grief, and forgiveness. I highly recommend picking this one up.
Thank you Sarah Ready, W. W. Crown, and Netgalley for a free copy of this book in exchange for an honest review!

Who would have thought that I'd cry my eyes out with this book. That specific scene really hit hard. I love this book and Sarah Ready never fails to deliver us with amazing books! I cannot wait to read more from this amazing author!
Not gonna say much about this book but just know that it is amazing and you will love it!

A moving love story with a lifetime of obstacles. Andy is an Upper East side girl and Jace a Bronx boy determined to make his name in music. Despite belonging to polar opposite words, they collide with fireworks and understand each other like no one else. Their connection isn't enough to stop real life intervening and blowing up their worlds. Can Their connection remain despite everyone and everything working against them? Superbly narrated to convey love and turbulence. #thespacebetween #sarahready #netgalley #romance #lovestory

I’ve only read one previous book by Sarah Ready and while that one was enjoyable, I wasn’t really expecting much from this one but holy crud… I could not stop listening to this audiobook! I was hooked on Andi and Jace’s story, I loved Jace’s good heart and the full speed that he and Andi gave each other their hearts! There were a few twists and turns and while I was angry at some of the characters for their parts and the wasted time when they could have been together, I love how everything ended (ok, everything except for Paulie’s end). The amount of angst wasn’t sickening, but it was enough to keep me on pins and needles waiting to see how things would work out. Seriously, I just loved the amount of heart that was in this story! The narrators brought the characters and all their emotions to life!

I absolutely loved this book and have already recommended it to a handful of people. Especially those that like happy endings.
I enjoyed that the audiobook had a make and female voice for the characters to tell the love stories. You think it might be the typical story of the uptown girl falling for the boy from the wrong side of NY but you’d be wrong! We follow the love story of Andrea and Jace beginning in their late teens. The battle with her Rich parents, parents trying to marry her off to someone else, and the life in between that causes many roadblocks, and some unexpected love along the way.
If you don’t pickup this book, you will truly be missing out on a fantastic reading experience.,

After French Holiday, I don’t think I was expecting Sarah Ready to make me cry the way she did.
Sarah Ready has really become an author I will seek out. Her work resonates with me and I thoroughly enjoy it.
The Space Between was no exception! The audiobook was done well. I’m happy to see dual POV from her.
I enjoyed this book! I laughed, I cried, and I couldn’t put it down.
