Another hit from Hannah Grace! I loved getting to know more charcaters in this universe, this time set at camp. This is a classic romance story, with interesting characters and dynamics. I always enjoy Hannah Grace's writing, but this story in particular was an excellent read. I am a sucker for a story set at summer camp, and this one was chock full of nostalgia and fun. I apprieciate the opportunity to read this book in exchange for an honest review. I would recommend this book and this series to others.

This was not a book for me. I went into this thinking I would absolutely love it, but the pacing threw me off so much that the book felt like it still needed more revision. I truly loved the idea around it, but I don't think it was the book for me. That said, im sure it will be someone's favorite book.

Wildfire takes some of the characters we know and love from Icebreaker and puts them in a fresh and summery setting. It's romance that also tackles harsh emotional themes. Ultimately, I ended up struggling with this book the same way I struggled through Icebreaker; it was simply too drawn out and repetitive in the way it handled the material. In real life, it makes sense that a person dealing with trauma and sorting through emotional baggage would sift through the same emotions and actions repeatedly. In a novel, however, non-linear progress over a relatively long romance novel is a bit frustrating. Additionally, I don't feel the cover art serves the material well. The pastels and cartoony characters featured on the covers of this series portray a different reading experience than what readers will actually come away with. Overall, it had plenty of enjoyable moments--I just wish they hadn't been so bogged down.

This is pure summer camp romance fluff and I mean that as a compliment. Hannah Grace writes this series with plenty of steam, a dash of emotional growth, and a whole lot of chaotic energy. Russ and Aurora have chemistry for days, and if you’re just here for the banter and the spice, this totally delivers. Don't come to this series expecting a deep emotional dive. Come to it expecting spice and sass and pure fun.

This was a fun read, but not as spicy as Icebreaker. A good summer read. I would recommend this book to people who are nostalgic for summer camp.

Love the characters and the continuoion of the series. Too slow of a burn for me. But the spice was hot

Thank you so much for letting me read this! I love summer camp and love the idea of a romance happening while there. I experienced that as a teen, so it was fun to "relive" it. However, I don't love how spicy this book is.

Wildfire by Hannah Grace was an enjoyable, slower burn of a romance. While it took its time to build up the chemistry, I appreciated the depth of the characters and the gradual development of their relationship. The pacing was a bit slow at times, but the emotional payoff made it worth it in the end. A solid, heartfelt read!

This book was okay. I absolutely loved Icebreaker so I was really excited for this one. Ultimately it just didn't deliver the same emotions in me, and while I know they're two different books, it's hard to separate them and I felt a little disappointed. It was still cute, I loved the camp setting. I just didn't get there with the chemistry of the couple.

Hannah Grace really has taken the contemporary romance genre by storm. She isn't reinventing the wheel, but she is cranking out some really great in-depth characters and fun situations they find themselves in. I was able to read this book in a day and had a great time.

The plot kept me engaged and hooked on the characters. I love the friendship that the guys have, but I can’t say that Aurora gave me the same vibes as Stassie did in Icebreaker. Stassie definitely held the spoiled , attention seeking personality. There were definitely moments when I felt like I was receiving free therapy, but I’m not complaining about that. I imagine other readers enjoyed it too. Overall, this was an easy read, it made me happy and hopeful for good friendships, always.

The way I have fallen in love with these characters! Hannah Grace has created an amazingly fun cast that ill. Ever tire of. She shines when it comes to dialogue. The banter and wit is so well done, and never feels forced. These books are tricky to recommend where spice is concerned, but she is absolutely my go to recommended author for hockey and spore romance. .

“Wildfire” by Hannah Grace has an interesting premise, but it didn’t quite hit the mark for me. The characters felt a bit underdeveloped, making it hard to connect with their journey. While there were some exciting moments, the pacing was uneven and made the story drag at times. The writing style was decent, but it lacked the spark needed to keep me fully engaged. Overall, it had potential but just didn’t deliver the captivating read I was hoping for.

This was way better than Icebreaker, by a long shot! Seeing Russ and Aurora's love grow and how they found ways to relate to each other despite the difference in their backgrounds was awesome. My heart ached for both of them, having to deal with situations that were way too grown up for them since youth. Also shout out to the fact that the third act miscommunication didn't happen??? Love when that happens. I feel as though this book truly shows more of Grace's prose and writing skills. Overall, this was such a delight!

Super cute sequel to Icebreaker! I love the secondary characters from the last book appearing as main characters in this one. Russ and Aurora needed their own story!

I loved this second installment in the Maple Hills trilogy. Honestly, my favorite part about this novel was the shy and slightly introverted main character. I couldn't get enough of him! The spice was great, the romance was top-notch, and it was just such a feel-good romance! The story line got my attention from the very beginning, making it a quick and fun read for any type of season! :)

There is something about this series that is so, so fun to me. Hannah Grace's books are instant joy-bringers, and Wildfire absolutely confirmed this for me! Set at a summer camp, and following a member of the hockey team we spent so much time with in book one, this is just perfect, summer-time goodness. Our main characters are Russ and Aurora, two college students/camp counselors with extreme daddy issues but lots of love to give. Like book one, this has a great cast of characters, a super healthy and communicative romance, and a little more steam than I'm used to, or like. I definitely rooted for them all the way and enjoyed their growth. This does have the same big issue as book one, which is a meandering plot. This is not quite as bad as book one, but there is no one conflict, just several small things. It was just a little too long.

Still, I love it, and I think most libraries should be adding the Maple Hills books to their collection. They're popular for a reason. This one fun, readable and sweet, with relatable characters and lots of swoony moments. I'm eager to read book three.

Thanks NetGalley for the preview!

This sequel was sweet and spunky! I loved Russ and his complex personality. The spice was great and Rory was a good leading lady. I love camp based stories and it was an all around fun read!

Really good, but the third act felt a little out of left field and rushed. However, the payoff in Daydream made it worth it--but the payoff is a b plot in a different book which is not super good.
