This book was the most amazing book that I read in 2023. It was refreshing and got me out of quite the reading slump.

I would recommend this book to just about everyone, and I have.

Thanks Netgalley for giving me a copy of Wildfire for an honest review!

5 stars for Russ being a Ratatouille expert.

Knocked down to 4 stars because Aurora wasn’t (and also because she made his personal emergency about how she felt because he left).

I liked Aurora and Russ more than Nate and Stassie, which made this book so much better. I also adore Henry so any time he shows up is a plus.

My biggest complaint about this book is that there wasn’t much at stake. Like they put off getting together for so long for what? There wasn’t any repercussions for getting caught. It just felt like such a tease for nothing.

But other than that, I enjoyed this a lot and will absolutely be picking up the third book when it comes out!

I wanted so badly to like this one after my students enjoyed Icebreaker so much, but it was a strange mix of twee (young romance) and spice. Though I appreciate that the book features more healthy relationship communication than my students' other favorite (Colleen Hoover), I'm not sure I can get on board with this one -- and I love spicy romance!

Wildfire left me a feeling disappointed. The novel attempted to capture the magic of Icebreaker but the execution fell short. The characters, while present, lacked depth and failed to evoke any genuine connection. It was hard to buy into the relationship.

Narrative struggled to find it’s groove. This left the overall story feeling unsatisfying. Hopefully the next book in the series gets back to the magic of the first. I can see how this novel may continue to resonate with people who are not readers. For me, it fell short.

I absolutely devoured this book. It was so much fun and I LOVE Russ and Aurora! The summer camp setting and the side characters were a blast. I already can’t wait for book 3!

This was a super cute little love story from Hannah Grace. I liked Icebreaker, but was even more impressed by Wildfire! Highly recommend for romance lovers!

Thank you to Atria and NetGalley for an e-galley of Wildfire.

After a one night stand at the end of year party, Aurora slips out of Russ's room and doesn't expect to see him again. Imagine their surprise when they both end up as counselors at the same summer camp. With a strict no fraternization policy and kids everywhere, both Aurora and Russ try to keep away from each other. As the summer continues, they discover that the chemistry from their one night stand was not a fluke - there might be something more there. Will they survive the summer? Or will they crash and burn before they can begin?

I ended up DNFing this one. As with a lot of "BookTok" books, I read the first one and had mixed feelings, then read the second one and decide maybe this author just isn't for me.

A great follow up to Icebreaker! I definitely preferred the first book but this one is great too! Rory is a hilariously real girl who feels like every girl I went to college with. And Russ… oh Russ. He’s the shy guy but he’s a dang dreamboat too!

Wildfire is the continuation of the setting and characters introduced in Icebreaker, and I LOVED IT. I wasn’t too invested in the idea of this story, not because I didn’t think Hannah Grace could live up to her first book, but I wasn’t thinking Russ’ book would be next. However, it was definitely placed correctly and all my fears went out the window quickly as were introduced to Rory and Russ. One of my favorite character plot lines is the FMC struggling with feeling neglected by her family. If done correctly, it adds such an interesting dynamic to her view of romance and where they fit into the world. And here, it was certainly done correctly! Thank you NetGalley for the arc

I enjoyed reading Russ and Aurora's story. It was steamy and funny! Sneaking around camp is always fun. Looking forward to the next one!

The story of Aurora and Russ is a good one. They’re both dealing with issues with their parents and that comes into play numerous times throughout the book. I loved how it wasn’t rushed to be handled but instead flowed naturally. I can’t wait to read more.

I enjoyed catching up with some of the characters from Icebreaker and learning the story of some of the other characters. I liked the struggles the characters had and think that the character development was very good. I felt so bad for the MMC. I can't wait to see what else Hannah Grace writes!

Well, I thought I enjoyed Icebreaker but Hannah Grace really stole my heart with the characters in this follow up!!! I love, love, loved the chemistry with these two. The plot, build up, and tension was all so delicious!!

Russ and Aurora are camp counselors with a shared past from a steamy one-night stand. I discovered Hannah Grace on TikTok, and this second book pleasantly surprised me. The dynamics between Russ and Aurora are so relatable; you can see parts of yourself in them. The writing feels personal, delving into the complexities of family dynamics through our leads. The tension between Russ and Aurora? Absolute fire! It starts with a bang, and their forced proximity adds some spicy tension. If you're into romance with sweet moments, steamy scenes, and classic obstacles, this book is a must-read. I wasn't a huge fan of the first book, but Wildfire won me over. Highly recommended for fellow romance lovers!

I originally found out about Hannah Grace through tik tok. I was not a huge fan of the first book, but was curious to see what her second book was like. I was pleasantly surprised! I loved the dynamics of Russ and Aurora, and think everyone can see at least some part of themselves in one of, or both characters! I feel the writing is quite personable, and can tell important complexities of family dynamics through our lead characters. I especially enjoyed the tension built between the two leads, as they start off with a bang and their forced proximity creates some spicy tension. Would recommend this book to many romance lovers!

I loved reading this book! It was so easy to fall in love with the characters and sweet moments between them were the best that romance novels have to offer. Add in some steamy scenes and classic obstacles and you have story you can’t help but get invested in.

Loved this book! The characters were well fleshed out and I felt like I really knew them. A great sequel to Icebreaker with some cameos from Nate and Stassi made it so fun!

Truthfully, I was a little underwhelmed with this book and its characters. The conflict wasn’t satisfying enough to make their romance exciting.
