We aren’t a poly couple but I find it interesting. This book would be terrific for anyone just starting out on the non monogamous path. Meant to be read once a day. Though you could read more you nonconformist you.

Informative and accessible. A recommended purchase for collections where relationship titles are popular.

It feels as though there has been an explosion of books about nonmonogamy in the past few years. In most cases they can be categorized as either memoirs of open relationships or manuals for how to approach them yourself. This book is a refreshingly unique blend of the two, offering digestible snippets of vulnerable personal experience, advice, and prompts for consideration. I expect it would be fruitful to read and reflect on a single page each day as the structure suggests, but the inclusion of a topical index to pinpoint the specific days that will provide the insight you need adds further to the usefulness of this book. The individual daily discussions are light on theory, focusing instead on the lessons learned from the author's own experience. I expect this book will become a popular for those exploring nonmonogamy.

As someone in the lifestyle for the past seven years, I thought I would really enjoy this book — and wanted to enjoy the book since there aren’t a lot of polyamory books out there, but this felt flat for me. For me, it seems like the author is almost writing a memoir. This book fell flat for me.

A Polyamory Devotional is a collection of 365 Daily Reflections for the Consensually Nonmonogamous. This is a thorough collection of thoughts on polyamory and being in multiple concurrent romantic/sexual relationships. The primary ideas are pretty standard: respect, communication, and consent.

This collection does a really great job of reflecting on various issues that are common in monogamous relationships as well as issues that are unique to nonmonogamous ones. I really enjoyed the format for each day. It starts with a nugget of reflection, tells a short story, and offers a question or two for you to think about if/how this is relevant to you and your relationships.

I was pleasantly surprised to see that there is an index at the end of the book with different topics that are brought up. This can be very helpful if you are dealing with a specific issue like jealousy or want to quickly find a reflection from earlier in the year that you want to revisit.

This is a valuable resource for anyone who is interested in or practicing nonmonogamy. It will give you insights and help you develop your thoughts around different aspects of your relationships. Highly recommend!

Thanks to Netgalley and the publisher for the eARC in exchange for an honest review!

I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

This book has a lot of great insight into a polyamorous relationship. Although that lifestyle is not for me, for someone that is in this lifestyle can gain plenty of information from others who are also in the same lifestyle.

I would recommend this book to anyone who is in a poly relationship or to someone who is thinking about being in this type of relationship.
