Killed This book takes you back to the 80’s where relentless crime reporter Trisha Connell is covering a story about a theft at an art museum. While covering the story she discovers that one of the people killed was someone she knew. Putting herself in danger to crack the story, she gains an ally who was also there that horrible night.

This story had me hooked from the description. The characters were great which made the story all that more enjoyable. I really enjoyed the mystery and the fact it was set in the 80’s. The romance was also nice but didn’t over power the main focus of the story. I’m really excited to read more of this series.

Brilliant 80’s mystery story I enjoy lots. I like the way she build the characters and make them very likeable. By the end I was completely hocked by the plot and was a very good book I enjoyed

Set in 1980s New York this book is a mixture of crime, mystery and romance thanks to Trisha and Grayson. The mystery aspect kept me guessing whilst the flirting between Trisha and Grayson kept me reading. I loved how this was written and the peacemaking was fantastic, I felt like I was there observing the crime scenes. Would really recommend.

I really enjoyed this book! I look forward to reading other books by this author. There were so many twists in this book I didn’t see coming. But then again I rarely can figure books out. I would definitely recommend this book!

This was exactly what I thought it would be, only with a bit of added fun in the gorier details. I have this whole thing with certain books that like to make the main character put to be way too cool for school. Like we totally get you are a bad ass but after several chapters of that sort of attitude it becomes rather mindless and dull. For me, it just took that character down several notches on my "cool" chart. Be humble, it's refreshing. I did enjoy some of the banter between characters and the fact that the main character was a journalist and not a detective that wasn't a real detective because they don't play by the rules. Although, our main character didn't play by the rules either, which I'm guessing is mandatory in this genre. I gave extra points for the gore, the banter, and the motorcycle.

This romantic suspense/mystery by Carrina Lawson is a real page-turner. The characters are likeable and relatable; to the extent that you feel invested in them and their welfare. The plot is interesting; with the mystery being the main enthralling element of the story for me, although the romance and the chemistry between the main characters is a large part of the story too. The setting does feel authentic to the 80's and journalism, making you marvel at just how much society and the media has changed - phoning in a story from a payphone, or from the luxury of a car phone before the printing presses start up certainly made me feel thankful for our current near real-time access to global news stories from our personal devices! This is the first book in the Trisha and Grayson mystery series and I can't wait to find out what other mysteries they solve, along with how their relationship progresses in the future. Many thanks to NetGallery and City Owl Press for allowing me to get a copy of the book - if anything could be improved about the book, I would say it's the cover, which I am not sure is too appealing, or as good as the content itself.

I could see this book becoming a movie. It reminds me of Poker Face even the cover looks like the tv promotionals. I loved this book and it was authentic 80s. Trisha is a strong lead and I love the fierce female lead which a lot of murder mystery books have been lacking lately. I can't wait for more books with Trisha.

I was glad I got to read this, it had a great mystery going on and I enjoyed getting to know the characters in this world. Corrina Lawson does a great job in creating this world and I was glad I got to solve what was going on. It left me wanting to read more in this series and from the author.
