Presley Ayers is a creature of comfort. She enjoys shopping for bargains and fine dining, but a desire to deepen her relationship with her boyfriend sees her planning a vacation at Get Lost Lodge that's all fishing, hiking, and nature. Except the boyfriend dumps her and she goes by herself to a place that is so out of her comfort zone it's not even in the same country. Beckett Keller loves nature and his family, so he's happy to help his brother and sister get the Get Lost Lodge up and running. It's pushing his own dreams and plans to the backburner and he's willing to suffer as long as it helps his family, but meeting Presley and seeing her do her best outside of her comfort zone is making him think that maybe being comfortable isn't all there is to life.

It's a fun and super predictable story that I enjoyed because I knew exactly what was going to happen at all times. There's no real pressure or drama to push the story, just sweetly romantic and endearing moments where not just Presley and Beckett get closer, but the Keller family and the visitors at the lodge all form connections. The lack of any serious situations beyond both leads being too proud and stubborn to recognize that they're perfect for each other and can easily adapt their lives to be together makes this an excellent comfort read. There are tiny details and backgrounds that ground it in reality and keep things from being way too saccharine, it's just an all-around perfect comfort romance.

Happy thanks to NetGalley and St. Martin's Griffin for the romantic read!

It’s a grand gesture when a boutique hotel concierge Pressley gifts her boyfriend of eight months with a 10-day vacation at a wilderness resort with hiking, fishing, sweat, and bugs… but when he thinks it’s too soon for their relationship to spend such a long time together, she promptly–smartly!–dumps him, and decides to solo the trip. The Get Lost Lodge is charming, but it’s financial position is precarious, and Pressley’s background is just what the struggling Keller siblings. She ends up working more than relaxing, all the while falling head over heels for #hotmountainman Beckett, who has his own dreams of owning a bicycle rental shop.

It was initially difficult for me to get into this story. Pressley presents as naive and came across as a bit two-dimensional. The immediate attraction was believable except that Pressley was ready to move in with her ex in spite of all the red flags. Everything beyond kissing is closed door. The writing is good and the whole piece is light and fluffy and sweet and predictable, while being authentic to influencer culture, with wonderful sensory details about the great outdoors. Rogers makes great choices for voicing each character distinctively, and keeps the story moving.

A broken-hearted city girl goes to the remote fishing/hiking resort alone, in spite of her jerk of an ex. What is not to love? This book was cute and the characters were easy to love. This had plenty of cozy vibes for your next weekend read!

Thank you to NetGalley and the publishers for providing me a free copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

Sophie Sullivan always writes lovely romances, and this book is no exception. Watching Presley be willing to book the trip for her ex in the first place, and then deciding to go on the trip alone despite having next to no outdoor experience, inspires readers to be willing to explore new experiences. I enjoyed reading how Beckett also had to go out of his comfort zone to find someone who was a good fit for him - despite being nothing like he would have chosen for himself on his own.

I loved this book so much and now all I want in life is a visit to the Get Lost Lodge! Presley was the embodiment of girl power and I loved rooting for her throughout her story.

Overall Rating: 3.75

Love, Naturally was such a cute story! It was a fairly quick read. It gave Hallmark vibes, which I just adored! The characters were adorable and I found the plotline enjoyable. I really felt that the space was detailed well and could picture myself right there with the characters which I loved.

My main drawbacks were that with such a large cast of characters, although enjoyable, it could get confusing at times when figuring out who they were talking about.

This was cute. I wanted a bit more overall and the MC felt a bit young. I love Sophie's books though so I'll likely continue picking up her books!

REVIEW: Love, Naturally by Sophie Sullivan

Sophie Sullivan's "Love Naturally" is a delightful romantic comedy that combines two unlikely characters in a wilderness setting. The novel follows city girl Emma, a stressed-out marketing executive, as she reluctantly embarks on a company retreat in the mountains. There, she meets rugged park ranger Jack, who challenges her perceptions and slowly wins her heart. Emma's journey from uptight urbanite to someone who learns to appreciate the simpler things in life feels authentic and engaging. While initially seeming to fit the "outdoorsy heartthrob" trope, Jack reveals surprising depth as the story unfolds.

While the arc is somewhat predictable, Sullivan keeps things interesting with witty dialogue and well-paced character development. The supporting cast, including Emma's quirky coworkers and Jack's close-knit community, adds color and humor to the tale.

"Love Naturally" is perfect for readers who enjoy enemies-to-lovers romances, fish-out-of-water stories, or simply those who appreciate a love story set against a backdrop of natural beauty. It's a feel-good novel that will leave you with a smile and perhaps a newfound appreciation for the great outdoors.

I could see others enjoying this book, but it just wasn’t for me. I couldn’t connect with Presley or Beckett at all. I also struggled with the dual 3rd person POV - I was often mixed up as to whose point of view we were in.

Absolutely LOVED Love, Naturally (naturally). Insta love/love at first sight isn’t usually my thing but I love Sophie’s other books so I had to read this one too! 4.5⭐️ cute and fluffy, Closed door romance. It’s a perfect summer beach read! I can't wait to read more about Beckett's family, too. As usual, her books set up the future and make you keep wanting more.

This book was cute! It moved a little slow for my liking. The slow-burn, insta love story line just isn't for me.

I love the found family trope. I thought the side characters made the story.

Will give it 2 stars. Unfortunately this wasn't for me. Writing style was not an issue, just didn't connect with the main character (I don't even remember her name). She seemed really immature and I couldn't get into the story. Others have loved it so its worth checking out if the cover and synopsis catch your eye.

Read this if you like: Dual POV, opposites attract, closed door

This was such a cute read. I could not put it down. I do love a good out of her element type. Beckett and Presley are so damn adorable. I highly recommend this!

This sweet romcom put a huge smile on my face. It's funny but emotional and leaves the reader with a warm, fuzzy feeling. I love that the leadsa deal with realistic issues in a mature way. Presley and Beckett stole my heart!

Thanks to St. Martin's for the copy to review.

I didn’t like this as much as my first book by this author, a guide to being just friends, but I think that’s because this trope is not my favorite. But it definitely has its audiences! If you’re looking for a good opposites attract, small tourist town, social media influencer FMC book, this one’s for you! For fans of Amy Lea’s The Catch as well.
I love the found family, the little niece is also adorable, best friend Rylee is one I’d love to call my own.

Fun Book! It gave us a feeling of hope and that anything is possible if you let yourself out of your comfortzone. Great characters main and side, we enjoyed it so much!

This may be my favorite book by Sophia Sullivan. I really enjoyed the fish out of water, city girl gone country vibe on this one. Sullivan's writing was addicting and this one was filled with laugh out loud and swoonworthy moments!

Presley (MFC) and Beckett (MMC) stole me heart! This was such a sweet easy-going summer read. Once I pick this one up I simply could not put it down, ended up reading it in two days. Lovely summer romance with zero smutt... YES please!

Presley is trying to salvage her relationship with her boyfriend by surprising him with a trip to an outdoorsy lodge complete with hiking and fishing - everything this city girl does not like to do. When the boyfriend ends the relationship instead, she decides to go on the trip alone.

She meets Beckett on the boat on the way to the lodge and finds out that he is helping his siblings run it. Presley is both a social media influencer and concierge for a hotel and helps bring business to the lodge after she inadvertently includes Beckett in a post.

This was a cute small town, opposites attract romance. It is a closed door romance. I liked how Beckett and Presley get into their relationship. Beckett’s siblings and the other characters are entertaining too. I would love to visit a lodge like this one.

Thanks to NetGalley and St. Martin’s Press for this eARC. Love, Naturally is out now.

Miss Urbane and out of her element Presley goes on a trip meant for her ex boyfriend and meets Hot Mountain Man Beckett.
I loved the HMM moniker and referred to Beckett as that for,the rest of the book.
What I liked about the book was both characters realize what’s Important in life and a person shouldn’t radically change in order to suite a partner’s view of them.
It’s a cute romance and a perfect summer read.
